The flavor was bland, and it didn’t feel like thought was put into the dishes. Major letdown.

Enjoy dishes like Salt Roasted Beets, Smoked Salmon, ECB Burger, Duck Confit, Seared Scallops, and exceptional pasta, including French onion pasta. The duck and brisket entrees are incredible, and the New Brunswick “Acadia Pearl” oysters are fresh, cold, and delicious, served on a bed of cold rocks. The beautifully plated salmon, particularly the pan-seared salmon with creamed cabbage and potatoes, is cooked perfectly, while the rack of lamb special is wonderful. Guests have praised the amazing food, noting the combination of flavors in each dish is artistic and impressive. Prompt and professional service comes from knowledgeable staff who are happy to pair wine with meals, ensuring a culinary experience. Finish with a sweet treat like sticky toffee dessert or a trio of sorbet, with the toffee dessert being especially recommended. The restaurant is also allergy-friendly. For a perfect night in Saint John, dinner at East Coast Bistro followed by a stroll along the nearby waterfront is highly recommended.
