This place is great! As travelers from the US, we did not have Canadian money and couldn't get our debit cards to work. The lovely people at the bakery comped our breakfast. Highly recommend!

I've been going to this bakery for nearly 40 years (and I am only 48) - growing up this was my parents favorite bakery and it is still the best in Saint John! The sisters that own the bakery are lovely, and they make the most wonderful bread, rolls, cookies, squares, gingerbread men, Danishes and more (If you can get the corn chowder - TRY IT! It's amazing). Wonderful service - I forgot a loaf of bread I bought this AM (distracted by the sweets) and got home before I realized....read full review
