Everything was perfect 👌. This place is a 5 if I've seen one. We'll done! And thank you!
I made a reservation because the website said there would be turkey dinner for Christmas. I also read there would be a dinner buffet..I took a cab there so I could indulge. Upon arrival I was informed it was regular menu. No buffet. No turkey dinner. I was very disappointed. No Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. Since I had already paid for the cab I stayed and ordered a steak. It was delicious but not turkey. And extremely expensive. I definitely won't be returning. This was...read full review
I don't think any respiration should be allowed to mark up their wine bottles by 300%. Overall the food was excellent along with the service. I expected to be more of a higher end restaurant, it felt like a hotel restaurant.

York Bistro Pub offers a mixed dining experience, known for its amazing view and excellent staff. The restaurant is particularly praised for its breakfast buffet, which is delicious, plentiful, and varied. However, some customers feel that for the full buffet price, there should be more options, such as an omelette station. There have been comments about running out of food or glasses, with staff sometimes overlooking these issues. While the food quality is generally good, some meals, like the Seafood Chowder and Salmon dishes, have not met expectations, and the temperature of the buffet items could be better.
Guests who dined for dinner noted mixed experiences; for instance, the Nachos were fresh and had good portions, while the Fish N Chip was disappointing, with a weak tartar sauce and soggy batter. The selection of draft beer is nice, though it has been mentioned that prices are over $11 a pint.
Overall, the restaurant excels at breakfast, and the accommodating staff, including Chef Louise, adds to the positive experience, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with a view of the harbor.
