Seafood risotto was delicious.

Stayed one night. Difficult to find as there was no sign out front but once we found it the contactless entry went smoothly. Room was very small but pretty and clean. We had a queen bed with a tub on the 2nd floor (#207) and the AC unit worked well. Only suggestion would be more hooks and/or shelves to put things like towels and toiletries.

The restaurants name is the Blue Lobster and is located in the hotel. The service and atmosphere were great. The menu had good selections. I ordered the seafood pasta and really enjoyed it.

We ordered Alfredo made with shrimp instead of scallops. Sauce delicious, but only four shrimp. Our server was friendly and charming which made up for lack of seafood in this dish.

Had a delicious dinner date in the restaurant. Friendly, timely service. Lovely menu with plenty of options. FRESH, made in house, perfect portion sizes, served hot. Great selection of beverages. Price was right! Definitely will be a regular to try more menu items!

Clean and rather spacious rooms.
Comfortable bathroom with everything you need.
Ample parking.
Unfortunately breakfast is not available and the restaurant was closed.
Great location, right on main street.
Recommended for a short stop.

Food and drinks: Meals not available.

When we arrived we were not greeted and had to call out into a dark restaurant to see if we were even in the right place.
Once we were acknowledged our paperwork along with other guests information was very legible on what I could only think is a hostess stand from the restaurant(privacy is clearly not a concern)
Hallways to the third level were half painted. Little to no lights were on, it was dark and gloomy.
When we were directed to our room on the third floor it was obvious this room had not been used in sometime.
Two spiders hung from the only light in the bare room. One was very large and hard not to miss.
The room was bare. Mismatched furniture, no tv and very dated.
The bed was incredibly soft and basically folded in the middle and made an obnoxious noise with the smallest movements. The shower has little to no water pressure.
There was a large hole in the ceiling in the bathroom that was maybe at one time an exhaust fan. The smell was stale and the air conditioning barely kept up and when was working was very loud, it was sealed with aluminum foil.
No breakfast was offered and they said coffee would be available at 7-7:30.
When we left not a soul was around to check us out or even acknowledge we were there. A set keys were in the office door available for the taking.
We do not recommend. Very disappointed.
From the outside you can see this was once a charming Inn, we were very much looking forward to this stay but it definitely put a damper on our vacation

When I tried to check in a bit early, there was no one on the property. The manager did not show up until 15:20 stating traffic issues.
The room was clean but very basic. No TV, no coffee maker, and a very small bathroom. The door lock was not secure, just a push button lock. The door was not aligned and didn’t shut properly so had to be slammed shut. Judging from the other slamming noises I heard, other rooms were the same.
I did not receive any housekeeping services in my 2 night stay. When I returned for the day, I had to ask the girl at the bar why my room was not cleaned and restocked (with toilet paper). She told me that if I wanted my room cleaned, I had to post a sign on my door. All I saw was a Do Not Disturb sign. Apparently, the Please Clean Room note was on the other side. I have never had to request housekeeping services before. I would not stay here again. A disappointing stay for my last two days of vacation.

Walkability: Close to restaurants but a drive from Plage Parlee

Auberge Gabrièle, located in Shediac, New Brunswick, is a very beautiful place steeped in history. This inn has 12 rooms, each with a typical Acadian last name, its own bathroom, eclectic decoration, free Wi-Fi. The location offers a magnificent view of Shediac Bay from a terrace on the 3rd floor. The room I rented was very clean. Of note, once a Georgian-style United Baptist church built around 1840, it was converted into an inn in the 1980s.

Rooms: Very clean and well maintained. Air conditioning in the bedroom. Very clean and well maintained bathroom.

Nearby activities: A multitude of restaurants and shops all along the main street. 10 min drive from Parlee Beach Provincial Park.

Walkability: In the heart of Shédiac directly on the main street

We booked a night away for a late Valentine’s Day excursion and were not disappointed! When booking the room online, I requested flowers in the room for my fiancée and arrived to find a vase full of beautiful roses. The king superior room was very spacious and the jacuzzi tub was beyond relaxing after a long day. We’ll definitely be back!
