I am new to the area and have been trying out all the food lol. I love the barbecue...do yourself a favor and don't forget to make sure you get the little vinegar based sauce that the Guy there makes homemade. It's the perfect balance of acid, sweet and hot.

First time at this place. When in the area again will definitely stop in. Good food and reasonable prices

Hadn’t been here in years, nothing has changed much. Got two breasts hush puppies and cabbage. One of the breasts was old and dry, the second one was good. The cabbage was just mush, no idea how old it was but it was too overcooked for me.

The hush puppies were sweet like funnel cake almost, and greasy like the oil wasn’t hot enough.

I gave it three stars cause that one breast was good 🤷🏿‍♂️.

If you like mushy cabbage this is your spot.

Hot meal when you haven't cooked...best in town.

Some vegetables may be slightly overcooked. The meat was delicious! It was enjoyable to sit outside with the meal. I'll try again and maybe next time splurge on a dessert item, they looked great ?

Best fried chicken in the 23 states I've visited. Fish is fried to perfection and the Sunday turkey wings are to die for, manager is kind and caring. God bless Abrams.

Wheelchair accessibility: Need some navigation skills but it ius doable.

Staff was ok. I ordered a pork chop, green beans and white rice. Pork chop and hush puppies were decent. Green beans awful ? and the rice was mushy ??.

Food was delicious. I wish the fish could be a part of the two meat special. The atmosphere could be way more brighter too, maybe some faux candles and bright colors to boost. Overall, I'd go back.

My family catered for delivery, an early Thanksgiving meal for 38 people. Everything was delicious. The fried chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The turkey, gravy, dressing, vegetables, and dessert were all good. The food was hot and served large portions, with food left over. We were more than pleased with the whole experience. We will do this again. Thank you Cathy, for doing a fantastic job.!!

I recently went to Abrams in Ahoskie North Carolina and the manager Cathy refused to serve me and my husband. The reason why is because we ordered banana pudding and asked for cookies in it and the staff refused to give the cookies in the pudding. The manager Cathy then stated that we are not welcome at Abrams anymore on the property or she will call the police after I was about to spend 40.00. Abrams is losing alot of money. The chicken and porkchops are always overcooked with tons of black pepper on it. The staff was very rude and we are regular customers. I will not recommend Abrams to anyone unless all the staff is removed. The store is always dirty and the tables are sticky when you dine in. The manager Cathy's son is also walking around with his gun while working. The staff is also serving customers with no gloves on. I will be contacting the owner Jerry in regards to this serious matter.

Not sure why it has been changed but the batter for the fried chicken and porkchops is now loaded with black pepper....Not everyone is a fan of it and it would be nice to go back to how you used to make it. Let people add it if they want more....you used to have the best fried chicken....not anymore.

What happened to the famous biscuits, and have to wait to place your order at the window u puck up your food and wait and wait some more. Chicken is over cooked, closes way to early at 7
