Fun restaurant with a good selection of items for food and drinks. It's in a building that used to be a hotel so there are lots of nice design elements. Only thing I'd warn people of is I got the banana pudding canoli and it was DELICIOUS but the banana pudding is runnier than a canoli filling so its messy to eat. Worth it but be careful about getting it on your clothes.Vegetarian options: I had the cheese pizza with hot honey and it was delicious and there were a few other vegetarian pizzas. I don't recall a vegetarian kind of main plated dish but still happy with fancy pizza.

Service was fantastic but menu was different from website and also from what a Friend had shared with me . My steak was over cooked. Food was cold steaks were poor quality !Very disappointed. No crab cakes. Steak and vegetables were cold . No salads. No truffle butter ?Nothing like what everyone has bragged about !This was our 43rd Anniversary. We were so excited to finally come here.

Great service, beautiful place, food was really good but... entirely too much salt added to sauces and veggies. Unfortunately, I left most of my food uneaten, I couldn't eat it.

Definitely would recommend this place. First time going there was last night, I highly recommend the cedar plank salmon w/ sweet potato mash. Amazing! Great atmosphere and great service. We’ll be back!

It was alright. Most of the food was good. The only thing we didn't like was the Deviled Eggs. It really gets loud in that back dining area and the sound bounces off the walls but overall it wasn't bad. Nice place.

I really looked forward to a new place that wasn't fast food and wanted to love this place so much.Service was great, chairs were nice but the menu was limited and we didn't care too much for the food...lacked flavor for the most part. Some menu items online sounded great & worth trying, but those were not avail. The high prices alone will likely prevent us from giving this place a second chance. Sounds echo, so be prepared for high-pitched, obnoxiously loud, tipsy/drunk, attention seeking females to ruin the atmosphere. I don't see this place (with those prices & limited selection) lasting long in Albemarle...maybe Southpark but not Albemarle. We tried the sausage balls (gross to me, I couldn't stomach them), Herbed chicken with sweet potatoe mash (everything lacked flavor all around) and caesar salad w/ steak added (odd to have marinated tomatoe slices, AND for them to be flavorless & refrigerated but the salad MAY have had 3-4 tiny parm shreds on it and maybe a little spoon of flavor-lacking caesar vinegrette type dressing in the bottom so that was hard to find or taste and the steak lacked flavor too).

Our anniversary dinner tonight.Oct17th. 630pm reservationsSausage balls, yuckShrimp crab dip, had a sour tasteStreak, ribeye, just very bland, no flavorYukon potatoes , even adding salt didn't helpMushrooms had the stong flavor or dirt.Very disappointed with meal an it was $175.00 ?The chocolate peanut pie was very good and the German chocolate cake was delicious. We eat at lots of restaurants around, this was by far the most terrible meal we have had.We ate here back in June and it was delicious! Have highly recommend to our friends. But not anymore.

I will start this review off by saying you have to give them a try no doubt about it. With that being said I will give you my experience. When we walked in we were welcomed and seated quickly. Austin was our server and he did an amazing job hands down. The Food was amazing as well. Everything was out in a timely manner so you don't have to worry about how long it will take your food to come out. Austin was very good about giving us an update on things as they were coming out. Not to just brag on Austin I will also say everyone seems to be in sync with each other. Everyone seems to help out to make sure customers are well taken care of which I love to see in a restaurant. It really takes up the experience to know that you are going to be well taken care of. I will end by saying check out the pictures and go give Christine's Wood Fire ? a try!!

My wife and I went to the Christine's Wood Fire Restaurant the other night and just wanted to share how great it was! Great atmosphere and the food was excellent. Her salmon was amazing and my Pork Shnitzel was killer. Even the sides were good. The asparagus had a great smoky flavor, but the Yukon Skillet Potatoes... wow!

Maybe dinner would be better, friend and I went for lunch... the lunch menu is very small and only side options are chips or a salad for $1 more. The sandwich I got did not have meat so I had to add chicken making my sandwich $20 not a great lunch option.. same with my friends meal. She got the Cesar salad and added chicken which looked to be about 3oz worth.... We both left hungry and greatly disappointed. Price is not the issue for me. Portion for the price is definitely the issue. If your into the elegant atmosphere, dainty menu and food portions then this is the place for you. Just don't come too awfully hungry. Also our particular server was far from hospitable ....

We had an appetizer, entrees, dessert and drinks and everything was good. Our waitress was excellent and the bill was fairly priced.
