It's actually called the courthouse now. It's a great, clean place to eat.I've never had deep-fried Brussel sprouts, so I gave them a try and dug em. Loved the fried green tomatoes, hard to find a place that does them properly around here. Also, I had an oyster shooter, and those are hard to find anywhere! It's not as good as I've had in mexico, but if you've never tried it... you should. It's a shot of vodka with hot sauce and spices with a raw oyster in it. Both of our sandwiches...read full review
What a beautiful spot. A really nice laid back atmosphere, clean and pleasant. The service was over the top good. Great recommendations made and lots of smiles. Food menu was limited but enough choices to satisfy everyone. Recommend!

Hands down best place for eating out I’ve visited so far in Albemarle! Great quality food, amazing ambience and spectacular hosts. The owner is very welcoming and personally takes interest in making sure you’re catered to. Got confused cos now the name has been changed (most likely with change of ownership). Certainly coming back!
