I just love the atmosphere of the old Fish Camps and Jay’s Downtowner definitely has it. Great service with exceptional Fish Camp flavors are always the norm at Jay’s. My favorite is the Salt and Peppered Flounder and Shrimp. I love both of the Jay’s locations and look forward the their Stony Gap road restaurant reopening.
If your looking for anything Seafood, cooking restrictions, cozy comfortable atmosphere this is your place while you're near Albemarle. Jay is temporarily downtown.
Their Seafood Buffet house is being remodeled. So stop here.
The portions are huge and you can scoop it up for lunch the next day.
