Melissa has such a fantastic gift to bring this local classic into the present. I love the fact we can pay w a card now (if you’re from Albemarle, you know several places that still, in 2024, don’t “take plastic” lol). The food quality is fantastic, consistent, and very tasty. Nothing bland here. I just hate that I can’t refuse to get a slice of pie every time.

Best Reuben sandwich in town (and others are great— Reuben is just my fav). Such a local gem— from the delicate China the meals are served on to the many varieties of pie. Wes and Melissa have done such a great job.

Cute little small town restaurant with great food and very fair pricing. Friendly wait staff

Vegetarian options: Vegetable lasagna

Parking: Plenty of parking in the gravel lot to be side and back. Street parking as well out front

Kid-friendliness: Large open room in the main dining area, which can get loud. Kids would just blend in.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible parking. Wide doorway but...
