About Stony Mountain Vineyards

Stony Mountain Vineyards offers a delightful experience with ample parking and a beautiful view from their deck. The interior houses a tasting bar and several tables. A tasting of six wines, including Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Viogner, Cab Sav, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Sangiovese, is available for $10, also including a unique Blackberry wine and a Riesling. The Syrah, in particular, is noted for its peppery note. The staff is friendly and helpful. Located on a hill, the vineyard is a lovely stop between Raleigh and Charlotte, especially during fall with its pretty drive and picturesque scenery.
