deceptive pricing - menu lists hash browns all the way with peppers, ham, onions, tomatoes for $8.50. BUT - this does not include the hashbrowns which are $3.99, so if you order hash browns all the way it actually is $12.49. All prices have gone up in the last week.

Pretty good food. It's a small diner a lot like a waffle house. I stop every year that I'm in town.

The instant I walked-in, felt very welcome by the friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Simple menu. Great taste. Reasonable prices. The breakfast special of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast and country fried steak costed only $10.99. I wish every town had a little local diner such as Maria's.

Sorry no pics of the food but it was so incredibly awesome I couldn’t stop shoveling it in my face! We made our own southern faves breakfast combo of country fried steak, grits, biscuits & gravy, eggs, & hash browns. Best biscuit ever defied the laws of physics. Stayed super fluffy under the perfectly rich gravy yet wasn’t at all dry. CFS perfectly crisp without being greasy. The HBs by far the weak link so would skip, but totally forgiven considering they offer them loaded up. The service was perfectly attentive without being intrusive. Will be back every day we’re here & will give those loaded HBs a try next time

If I could give zero stars I would. The only good thing about any experience I’ve had here is the food… the food is delicious. We was the only ones in there and the waitress took forever to seat us so we just sat ourselves with no greeting. She took our order and then went and sat down on her phone. Never refilled our drink or bring us our food. The COOK had to bring us our food and refill our drinks. We didn’t even get all of our food. Never going back it’s ridiculous.

Worth driving from Hayesville. Service, cleanliness and food spot on. Good tunes, too.

I was unsure about the place but I had the best Western omelette ever. Will definitely eat there again. Definitely recommend.
