“Went here the first time I got the catfish sandwich, and my husband got the burger and fries. The cat fish had just a little breading with plenty of fish and great flavor. The burger was fresh, and the fries were homemade. This is a small place, with seating inside and outside. It's clean and the food is delicious. The staff is friendly. They also have take outs. A constant flow of people in and out. Will be back.”

“What a fantastic find! Great beers and even better staff and entertainment. Terry, dressed in his Kilt from St. Patrick’s Day, was such an incredible host. My husband and I love to catch up on the local mountain “tea” when visiting the area. Bring some of your local hometown brewery stickers so Terry can plaster the walls. “In town for the Holiday and stopped for a bite and some drinks. What a great spot! Beer was delish, owner very knowledgeable and everyone so friendly including the regulars. We had the appetizer Cottage Pie and Scotch Eggs and both were so good!! Absolutely recommend!”

“A nice little grocery section for picking up Mexican food items, like beans, masa harina, ingredients to make tamales, etc. The only thing missing, for me, was Mexican Coke (Coca-Cola, glass-bottled in Mexico).Not familiar with their menu, I decided to try gorditas this time. They were as filled as could possibly be and excellent. I’ll try something else next time, to learn other foods - will definitely be back!”

“Step back in time to the good old days when you visit this restaurant. Pretty much, this restaurant probably hasn't changed over the many years its been here. The helpings are plentiful, the menu is big, the prices are great, and service is outstanding. Southern Gals has a great and tasty breakfast offerings. The locals line up for their famous once a week meatloaf. Everything on the menu is delicious and tastes home made. The atmosphere may not be the best for todays standards, but it sure brings back memories of the past with the great offerings of food and the friendly service that makes you feel like family.”
