“Angelo’s is one of my top three pizza places ever! The dough and crust are good and the flavor of the cheeses and sauces are incredibly delicious. They put a lot of cheese on, but I always get double cheese, mushrooms, and sometimes other vegetables. My last pizza I tried the white pizza. Wow it was delicious! I judge a pizza by being worth the calories. The pizza here is definitely worth the calories. Even the leftovers taste great the next day. My husband’s favorite pizza is the barbecue chicken one.”

“My steak was cooked medium instead of medium rare. I didn't send it back because it was still good. Escargo was awesome even if not very many. Bread there is amazing, melts in your mouth. Service was very good. I am not really convinced that the food justifies the price. But is a good restaurant”

“I have to admit that I lived in Murphy for almost 6 years and never heard of your wonderful establishment, but my husband and I were on a mission to try all of the burgers during “Burger Week” and we were so glad that you were on the list. From the moment we ordered to the moment we picked them up, everyone was so friendly. The burger was wrapped in a burrito (which I never had in my lifetime) and it was so darn good! I was passing through so didn't turn back because I ate the fries first which were at least somewhat fresh. Would not suggest stopping at this McDonald's if you can help it. “The owner of our Airbnb recommended coming here for the AYCE crab and we are so glad she did. We both agreed it was the best crab that we've ever had. Its cooked perfectly. And they don't skimp, they truly will serve you all you can eat. The coleslaw, potato salad and hushpuppies are all really good too, and they give you small servings of all three which we thought was nice. They weren't trying to fill us up on other things. The interior is cute. It is small, so I understand now why they recommend reservations. Our server was really good too, she was so friendly and attentive without being overbearing, asking if we wanted more crab at just the right time. We also got their coconut cake to take home for later and it was really good too. This is a hidden jewel that I would highly recommend!”

My friend and I stayed at The Vinekeeper’s Cottage twice this month while renovating a home nearby, and it has easily become one of our favorite getaways.

The cottage itself is creative, intimate, and warm, set up with intentional care and high-quality details—from the premium cookware to the plush towels. The contactless, keyless entry made arrival completely seamless. It offers the perfect balance of privacy: it is incredibly quiet and peaceful for morning and evening strolls yet ideally situated so you can easily walk right to the property's tasting areas.

We loved the convenience of walking to the Farmhouse on Fridays and the Stone House on Saturday for more of their excellent wine and live music. The hosts even provided us with reserved seating for the entertainment on our second trip, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Even with the weekend events happening nearby, the cottage remained a private, quiet sanctuary.

We spent our time cooking, relaxing, and soaking in the outdoor hot tub while taking in the beautiful vineyard views. And as a very special bonus, they provided us with a complimentary bottle of one of their exceptional wines to enjoy at the cottage, which was such a welcoming surprise! The hospitality from Jes and the team was top-notch. It was a truly lovely experience, and we will definitely be back!”
