“Angelo’s is one of my top three pizza places ever! The dough and crust are good and the flavor of the cheeses and sauces are incredibly delicious. They put a lot of cheese on, but I always get double cheese, mushrooms, and sometimes other vegetables. My last pizza I tried the white pizza. Wow it was delicious! I judge a pizza by being worth the calories. The pizza here is definitely worth the calories. Even the leftovers taste great the next day. My husband’s favorite pizza is the barbecue chicken one.”

The first time I visited was my first time trying escargot. I'm glad to have had that experience with The Copper Door. It was buttery, with the wonderful taste of garlic and herbs and melted in your mouth. It was accompanied by Yorkshire Pudding or puff pastry. Absolutely divine.
We ordered surf and turf. The lobster tail was buttery and the filet mignon was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection.

The second time I visited, I tried the Spoonbill caviar and bone marrow. While they were quite good, I learned that day that I'm not too fond of bone marrow. However, my partner happily enjoyed my portion; the novelty of the experience was a good memory itself. During this time, they had a 32oz steak available on special. It was delicious, accompanied by carrots, potatoes, and asparagus, and caramelized pearl onions with enough food for three people. For dessert, we tried the Baked Alaska, which they prepared tableside, and the Creme Brulee.

The only snafu was the pork belly. My partner ordered it for us to share, but the appetizer arrived, and it was a small sliver of pork belly. I imagine it was only intended for one person.

This experience was wonderful and we will be returning for more.”

“I have to admit that I lived in Murphy for almost 6 years and never heard of your wonderful establishment, but my husband and I were on a mission to try all of the burgers during “Burger Week” and we were so glad that you were on the list. From the moment we ordered to the moment we picked them up, everyone was so friendly. The burger was wrapped in a burrito (which I never had in my lifetime) and it was so darn good! “The owner of our Airbnb recommended coming here for the AYCE crab and we are so glad she did. We both agreed it was the best crab that we've ever had. Its cooked perfectly. And they don't skimp, they truly will serve you all you can eat. The coleslaw, potato salad and hushpuppies are all really good too, and they give you small servings of all three which we thought was nice. They weren't trying to fill us up on other things. The interior is cute. It is small, so I understand now why they recommend reservations. Our server was really good too, she was so friendly and attentive without being overbearing, asking if we wanted more crab at just the right time. We also got their coconut cake to take home for later and it was really good too. This is a hidden jewel that I would highly recommend!”

“I LOVED this place. The farmhouse was open and we got a flight and were educated on all the wines and little facts about the place itself. The view was breathtaking and the wine was so refreshing. Very unique home feeling. The place was beautiful and the wine was delicious, but the employee David was what really made the experience magical!! I love his charm and personality so much. He made me feel like a regular on my first visit. Such a special person to work there!!! We are coming back to Hiawassee again just to visit the vineyard, but we pray David is there too :)”
