From Louisiana we were here on a contract in the mountains and wanted bbq, went to 3 different bbq places during our stay in 2021! This was the best bbq I ever had in my life, best service, best prices, best quality, best taste! I always look for this place when I visit ga, it’s just so far! But it’s worth the 2 hour drive every time! I had to search my messages to find this place again! This time I will not lose it because I am putting a saved pin ? on it!
This place is a gem in Hiawassee, Georgia! All of the staff were very friendly and the place had a hometown feel to it. I could tell this is where the locals come because everyone knew everyone by name. My wife and I both got the Little Piglets(sliders) with turkey and chicken. The Smokehouse Potato Salad was amazing! Love the food, but the prices are through the roof. 40.00 for lunch for 2 people. Pork plates, drinks, and a small extra cup of beans that they charged $4.85 for. Too high for many return trips, but food was great. Just too expensive.
