We've been here a few times before and it was fine. Today was not. Service was very slow and food was cold. Seems like they waited on drive through customers and ignored dine-in. No reason to do that, plenty of room for drive=through cars.
Was very good. Has a great hotdog and fries. And friendly staff will be back 🥰
We happened to stop by on a trip. The food was very good. it is a great little no frills atmosphere with a nostalgic feel. The owners were extremely nice. If I lived closer I would definitely be a return customer. 5 stars for sure.

Based on the reviews, The DogHouse is an okay hot dog place. The Chicago dog has a poppy seed bun and all the toppings except the tomatoes were canned. They serve delicious grass-fed burgers and fries cooked in tallow, with the burgers served on hotdog buns. The ice cream is delicious and of exceptional quality, with flavors like Banana Pudding ice cream. They proudly serve Ashby’s ice cream and it is hard to find ice cream this good anywhere else. The milkshakes are amazing. For a deal, the amount of food for $10 each including a drink was delicious, with items like a philly steak. The staff is friendly and polite. The location is cool with old pictures of the town. There are picnic tables outside for a comfortable and pleasant experience, with plenty of shade. The new owners have made outstanding improvements that have elevated the experience and atmosphere.
