Always good authentic Mexican food! Better than the Tex-mex up the street.

A nice little grocery section for picking up Mexican food items, like beans, masa harina, ingredients to make tamales, etc. The only thing missing, for me, was Mexican Coke (Coca-Cola, glass-bottled in Mexico). Not familiar with their menu, I decided to try gorditas this time. They were as filled as could possibly be and excellent. I’ll try something else next time, to learn other foods - will definitely be back!

We didn't choose to spend four days in and around Andrews because of its reputation as a culinary destination. It obviously has plenty of other charms, most notably its beautiful and remote Blue Ridge mountain environment. But dining options turned out to be drab indeed. The Santo Niño tienda and restaurant was very much an exception, though. We only made it there once but should have come here for every restaurant meal we had while in the area. Based on a couple of tortas, this humble family-run spot killed it on the food. Everything was fresh as it could be, and the kitchen does not skimp on the more-expensive ingredients like avocado and meat, or any other ingredient for that matter. These were sizeable sandwiches. Lengua was tender and succulent, and the wife thought the chorizo was great, too. The tortas are served with fries that were better than they looked (which was rather Ore-Ida-ish)--piping hot with some crispiness to them. I was only a little bummed because it was only after our food was on the way that I realized that the restaurant has pozole on Sundays.Santo Niño occupies a spot in a shabby and grim strip center on the western edge of town. Don't be deterred by this. The business inside is hardly fancy, but it has a warm and comforting feel.

You need to be careful in ordering the specials at their advertising you want to make sure exactly what you're ordering is the price that they're advertising

Wonderful family owned/run restaurant. The folks that run it are too kind. I haven't had anything there that i did not like. Especially love the tacos and the Pambazo.

Good food but questionable service. Tried to order some takeout last week and no answer and voicemail was full. Drove there and a sign on the door said kitchen closed 5-6pm. Could have posted this on Facebook or on their voicemail, instead I wasted a trip. Luckily Kobe is across the parking lot so got good takeout anyway

Excellent tacos and rice. The people who run it are very nice. The service was very good. They were busy at lunch time and there’s a reason for that. It’s all good.

Delicious food! I got three asada gorditas, they were SO good! Super hot, very fresh and everything was perfect. They were made very fast, maybe 5 minutes. Great price. Friendly people in the store! The red and green salsa are awesome. Will be back soon!

I want t give them 5 stars because their food deserves it, but their lack of communication with opening and closing on days that they are advertised to be open is very frustrating sometimes. It is worth the drive but it’s hard to make that drive and find out they are closed in a day they are supposed to be open. And their hard to get a hold of of , they need a new phone for sure , but the staff and food is SUPER EXCELLENT and they even have a nice Authentic Mexican store

We had a very fun lunch here! Both the Pambazo and Carnitas we ordered were delicious. We ordered our lunch with a side of Jarritos and watched the Christmas movie they were playing in the background. We will definitely be back to try some more dishes and to get treats from the market. Thank you for the kind service.
