Food here is delicious - absolutely love the corn nuggets! Unfortunately they are closed more than they are open even on weekends (the biggest restaurant days of the week). So even though I really like the food, it is quite difficult to get a meal here when they are hardly ever open.

The food is great, but the prices are ridiculous!!!! $16 for hamburger steak and fries when 8 miles down the road, the same thing is $8. A slice of pie that is smaller than a fast food apple pie was $3. And a plain burger with lettuce, tomato, and mayo is $11. It's sad, but the prices will prevent us from going back! We can eat at a steakhouse for the same money.

We went for breakfast during bikefest. There were no prices on the menu. We had been there a couple of times before and the food was good and the prices were reasonable. One time I was overcharged but let it go. However this time breakfast for two was $33.00 without a tip. Later we discovered that even though my coffee should have been included with my meal it was charged separately. Even so the prices were outrageous. This is Angier, not NYC. They lost us as customers.

Waitress was fantastic, wonderful personality made us very comfortable, highly suggest stopping by for breakfast ?Ok so I need to update my review, I have been back to the Cafe every weekend since my last review and today will be my last time going back... we had a few minor issues last time I was there, but today was terrible, we had a brand new waitress, she was fantastic but struggling because she was brand new .. (she was Nervous) . After we ate which was a party of 6 , I went to pay the bill and I asked the other waitress if our waitress was brand new and she rolled her eyes and looked disgusted with the new woman, She told me they threw her out there to see what she can do... (really ?? ) you just don't do that to someone especially on a Sunday morning which you know will be busy! Our waitress a as very sweet and kept apologizing to us for something that is not her fault.. and then you have the other woman who instead of helping her puts her down to me and I am a customer!! You just don't do that... won't return again ...

Service was very slow. There were no prices on any items on the menu. Menu print was way too small and could barely see to read it. Food was good but got pancakes with bacon and only got 2 slices of bacon where most places give 3 slices with breakfast. Probably won't go back.
