Harvey John's Steakhouse

We visited Harvey John's Steakhouse on Saturday, January 25th, and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. The owner personally came to our table, ensuring our experience was second to none. I must say, it was one of the best salad bars I've seen at a steakhouse. My wife, owner of Lizzie's Travel, was very impressed, and we look forward to returning soon. Highly recommend it for folks in Wake and Harnett counties or the surrounding areas.

Susan the hostess was AWESOME. Heather our waitress was very friendly. The food was cook to perfection. Thanks to all for a great time.

I loved the restaurant, it was pleasantly charming. It was me and my friend Amanda's birthday. The food was excellent and the portions was enormous. Desserts ? yummy!!!

This is by far an amazing restaurant..food was absolutely delicious, service was superb, atmosphere excellent! Save room for desert..you will be stuffed from dinner, but the deserts are worth stuffing yourself more..lol. The best steakhouse!

This was our first time dining at Harvey John's, and it was fabulous. The Wagu Ribeye that I had was melt in your mouth delicious. The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. We will definitely be back.

This is our second time at Harvey Johns and both experiences have been amazing! The wait staff are very friendly and Mr. John was going to each table talking and checking in! So far we have eaten the beef tips and risotto as well as the sirloin, and they are delicious! We have also had the spinach and artichoke dip with fresh bread and were not disappointed! We can’t wait for our next trip!

Awesome staff, everyone was really friendly and checked in on us often. The food was so good!! I loved the meatball appetizer and the steak was great too. My husband and I picked this place to celebrate our anniversary early - and we will definitely be back! :)

We have dined at Harvey John’s 5 times now. We’ve done the brunch as well. We thoroughly enjoy that there is a local steakhouse. The staff is excellent. I have tried their brunch, their filet, ribeye and bone in ribeye. I’d say the bone in ribeye has been my favorite thus far. Salad bar could use a few upgrades. Sides are delicious, must try the mushrooms. The new dessert cheese cakes were to die for. Grab them while they are still on the menu!

Ate here for the first time last night and I can say without exaggeration that it was the best steak I've ever had in my life. I love that everything (except wine) is locally sourced in NC. I've shopped in the butcher shop owned by the same people that own the restaurant and the meat there is excellent but I certainly can't cook a steak as well as the chef at Harvey John's. Perfect sear, so juicy, melt in your mouth deliciousness! Nice salad bar with very fresh produce and a great selection. Desserts are also amazing!

Definetly not what we expected as far as atmosphere and decor but that's not a bad thing. Large open area with a rustic cowboy feel to it. Hostess complimented my wife's outfit so we were off to a great start. Service was fantastic, Kylie was sweet, attentive, and answered our many questions.

Started off with their Bacon Bomb Meatballs as an appetizer. Kylie informed us that these were more like sausage balls rather than meatballs which was fine. Great presentation and they were super delicious. They came with a bone marrow gravy or a BBQ glaze and bother were excellent compliments.

Small salad bar with all the basics which were very fresh. Bacon bits were real bacon and I think I counted 6 dressings.

Main courses were filet mignon and a wagyu steak with a shrimp skewer on a bed of chummy churri. Steaks were properly cooked based on our requests, medium, and were melt in your mouth fantastic. I learned that I am not a chimi churri fan but it did not deter from the taste of the steak. Shrimp skewers consisted of 6 large grilled shrimp which were super flavorful and succulent. Large loaded baked potatoes were delightful and the chocolate mousse cake capped off a wonderful meal.

Expensive but worth it. Great food. Wonderful staff and a welcoming environment. They also source their beef from a butcher shop next door so you can't get fresher meat than here.

Overall a great addition to the area, we will be back!

This was our first night eating at Harvey John's, and I have to say we were very pleased with our experience. John & his team have perfectly blended HIGH quality steak, beautiful ambiance and true southern hospitality! Love the open kitchen (which is meticulous), and the food portions are large and cooked perfectly! Thank you for a delicious meal and making us feel welcomed in your beautiful establishment.
