Sure, you could get a rotisserie chicken from Costco across the street for 5 bucks, but it ain't like this one. Great flavor (better than Costco), not too salty, very very tender - prepared excellently. Rice and beans reminded me of the plates I had in Brazil, also prepared perfectly and fantastic. Yellow sauce is mustard based - not my favorite but still a good foil for the chicken. The green sauce, however, is a level 3 spicy creamy tomatillo salsa that rivals anything...

The food at Alpaca in Apex is exceptional - truly delicious. However, the customer service experience doesn’t match the quality of the cuisine. The servers and especially the cashiers tend to be curt and not particularly welcoming or warm, which distracts from an otherwise great visit. A little more friendliness and engagement from the staff would elevate the entire experience.

Awesome place to get fast and great tasting food. The chicken was tender and juicy, and all of the sides were delicious. It takes less than ten minutes to get your food. Highly recommend the platano Maduro the black beans and rice as well as the french fries and the green beans.

It was also a big space and has outside seating.
