3.8? We usually get takeout, and I have eaten at the bar, but I feel a 3.8 is low for their pizza. Best NY style pie in town and the wings are the bomb, too!

While visiting family in the area, they took us to Anna’s for some really delicious pizza, which had really good crust too. The calamari was some of the best we ever tasted. Service was very nice and friendly. We’ll definitely go back here the next time we’re in Apex.

My husband, sister and I just moved here to Apex. We decided to try this family owned Italian restaurant in historic Apex. The dining room is small but has an excellent staff. The menu was filled with tantalizing dishes. So many it was hard to choose. The veal capritzi was fantastic, as was the chicken Parmesan and pasta primavera. Their sauce is homemade. Everything was delicious. Their pizzas look like they were made in NYC. The prices were very reasonable and the portions big enough to take home leftovers. I would highly recommend this restaurant. After dinner, a walk down main street is a treat. We will definitely be back to try a pizza.

I found the pizza lacking zest and flavor that pops. Standard taste for Anna's special and chicken bacon ranch. Tables are kind of sticky. Nice murals and pleasant service.

Visiting the area from Florida and we wanted some good pizza and a salad. Their antipasto salad was absolutely delicious and their pizza was delicious also. Definitely coming back when we're in the area!

Fantastic pizza and such a fun cute vibe. Only lost a star because of how long it took. Over an hour for one pizza. As long as you prepare for that and don’t mind waiting it’s fantastic! We ordered the extra pepperoni pizza.

Kid-friendliness: Be prepared to wait a while. Tablets & games to keep them occupied.

Wheelchair accessibility: A bit tight in the restaurant and for a wheelchair but not impossible.

I walked into the restaurant, and the busser asked how many in my party. I told him it was a party of two and that we’d like to sit outside. He said, “Oh, okay. Go ahead and grab any seat you want, and we’ll be right out with menus and everything.”
After waiting for about 25 minutes with no menus, no service—nothing—I decided to go back inside to let an employee know we had been sitting outside and hadn’t been helped. His response was, “I’ll be right out there.”
I waited another five minutes, then walked back inside—this time through the back door—where I spoke to the cooks in Spanish, asking how the restaurant operates. I asked if I needed to talk to them to get service or if a server was supposed to help us. They called the manager, who just stared me down before asking who I was. I responded, “Someone trying to be a customer.” I explained that I had to ask the cooks if I could eat there because the front-of-house service clearly didn’t care.
Fast forward—the manager eventually brought the food out, but only after making me feel like I was in the wrong for going to the back and speaking to the cooks. He then offered to cover the bill, but I refused. I pushed the food back and got up to pay, and I still paid.
Unfortunately, the service was terrible, and I won’t be going back. I’ll also be recommending Namolies instead—it has way better service and a much better experience overall.

The small, hometown feel with the big city flavors and level of food excellence are encompassed at Anna’s! Our meal comprised delicious wings and *the best* gluten free pizza (Anna’s special) I’ve ever had!

Overall Score: 5.9/10 – A well-presented restaurant with a diverse menu, easy online ordering, and solid service, offering a decent takeout experience.

Atmosphere and Service: 6.2/10 – The restaurant looks great inside and has a cool exterior, giving it a respectable and inviting feel. The service seemed nice, and the takeout experience was smooth. The online ordering process was simple, and the menu offered a wide variety of options. The food was ready on time, making for a convenient pickup experience.

Cheese Pizza: 5.3/10 – A fairly basic pizza that was decent in quality but lacked any standout features. It tasted fine but didn’t have much of a wow factor, making it a very average but enjoyable option.

Cheesesteak: 5.8/10 – A good, regular cheesesteak with decent quality. The portion was a little small, but the flavor was enjoyable. While nothing extraordinary, it was still a solid choice.
