We have been eating plant based for the last 8 years. We usually have Mediterranean foods once per week. This is the best place we have found in our lives. We discovered this food truck by accident and we are looking forward to continue enjoying!

Captain's Gastro food truck came to a bar I was at. We were a fairly big group so ordered several different things from the menu and they were all delicious. Very fresh, high quality ingredients. The homemade hummus is a highlight but everything we ate was very good. Definitely recommend you check it out if Captain comes to your area!

This is my favorite food truck that comes to Eno River brewery. The food is delicious. There are vegetarian options, the pita and fries are both fresh and hot, and the tzatziki is always amazing. Whenever I see this food truck is near me, I make a point to go!

Captain’s Gastro visited our neighborhood this evening. They were early and set up quickly. They were courteous and answered my questions. Food came out quickly and tasted wonderful. My husband enjoyed the beef gyro meat Ephesus bowl and I loved the delicious Captain’s plate with beef gyro meat. The portions were filling. Especially enjoyed the spot-on flavors of the rice, eggplant salad, tzatziki and hummus! Also appreciated that the Captain’s plate was Gluten-free!!
Vegetarian options: All sides are vegetarian. Also have a couple of wraps and plates that can be made with veggies or falafel.
Dietary restrictions: Many of the items are Gluten-free, including the rice, hummus, tzatziki sauce, meats and eggplant salad.
I ordered two different wraps with fries from the food truck. Food was spiced nicely, made to order and the chicken & beef were very tender. Fries were crispy and not greasy. The only downside is that one gentleman was manning the orders, cooking, wrapping & distributing the orders by himself, def not a one man operation!

Want to have the best Mediterranean food of your life ? Please try captains Gastro . We had the Ephesus bowl and were completely blown away and ended up ordering another bowl ! We have had Mediterranean food in dozens of places, this is by far the freshest , lightest and tastiest food we had . The address on google is wrong , it’s their office address , please go to street food finder to track their location . They keep changing locations everyday . My suggestion to the owners , please never give up on this food truck ! You guys are doing a great job !
