My husband and I have been visiting Cloer with friends and family since 2019. It's a beautiful, family-owned local vineyard. I highly recommend the very reasonably priced tasting tray to decide on which wine you want to pick. Our favorites are the Noble and the Carlos (one of the only white wines I have ever liked). They have several snack options, but you can also bring your own food. There's a play area for the kids. My kids also enjoy going by the pond to visit the ducks and check out the other animals on the property. Definitely worth a visit!!

I’ve visited several wineries around NC. Cloer Family Vineyards has it all. Activities, Variety of peaceful beautiful landscapes , horses, quality charcuterie options and best of all excellent wines. The nicest people ❤️! We will be back… Truly a hidden gem.?

We had the best time visiting Cloer! We had the wine flights and wine slushes. Tip: mix the two flavors together! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was so nice. There’s plenty of shade and horses and sheep to see on the property.

Came here recently Saturday afternoon with family—we were able to get two tables under the shade. They let you bring food. Drink wise, we did the wine tasting—wasn’t a fan of majority of them except one, their house Merlot—so we got a bottle of it, called Matador ($22). They also had slushees machines—Strawberry Mango and Peach Bellini flavors, both delicious and highly recommend on a hot summer day!

I recently had a team building event at the Cloer Family Vineyard and it was fantastic. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and Pam was an amazing host. Cloer wines are delicious and I could not leave without a bottle of Noble a light and fruity red. Lovely winery on beautiful property surrounded by trees in Apex. Decent list of wines and great local cheeses. Downside is they allow young children. Hard to relax and be in peace with screaming kids running around.
