Dallas Famous Chicken n' Biscuits

Literally asked was the steak biscuit fried . Why do I get an unseasoned steak biscuit smothered in gravy ! Then they close at 2 so I can't even change this or get my money back. Just called and nobody answered , phone just rang . Ridiculous ! Food has ZERO flavor .

A down home establishment with good cooking. Not fancy. Just good eats.

Parking: Parking around their building. Approximately 30 spaces available. Space for trucks with trailers in back, but not more than two or three at a time.

Our Order was wrong ! We got bbq sauce on our mashed potatoes! Smh who does that? But they corrected it . Other than that food was pretty good!

Wow! An authentic blast from the past. It had farm yard antiques, including a 1950s rocking horse style children's table and probably a 1940s 4' tall radio. It was delightful and the food was delicious. Go! Just go and experience this place for yourself.l! It's wonderful in every way!

Vegetarian options: I went because l'm a vegetarian and the menu was large for me and others like me AND affordable, however the delicious smell of homemade fried chicken filled the driveway as soon as l opened the door of my truck. I had to eat some of that fried chicken! No regrets! Tasted great and had no digestive problems. Go, Go right now and prepare for an old time good experience!

40+ years of Dallas chicken and biscuit goodness in Apex. Food is literally perfect comfort. Biscuits and gravy 10/10, chicken filet / biscuit 10/10, scrambled eggs and potatoes 10/10, self serve coffee from real coffee pots 10/10.And there's a drive thru!For kids there is a horse in the back that you can move and sit your toddler on at your table and eat on top of because it has a tray near the horse's head. Awesome.

The food, service, and atmosphere are always the best. . Pictures posted is that of chicken livers and cabbage ( under season) but tenderly cooked. I have never had a bad dish. Bread pudding is my quilty pleasure. My uncle Mike has worked here for years.

Parking: Parking can be difficult depending on what time of the day you arrive.
