I think we must have come on an off morning. My avocado toast, while on point for taste had temperature issues. The avocado was very cold to the point that the toast was barely room temperature, the eggs which I expected to be slightly runny in the yolk we're cooked hard. My husband's "toast" was nothing more than warm bread.

The food in this place is fantastic, and the atmosphere is terrific. The service is usually excellent, but it was appalling when I was there on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, for breakfast.
After being shown to our table, we waited a while even to be acknowledged. We finally got some coffee, and we ordered swiftly so we got food, but I had to practically ask several waiting staff if they wouldn't mind bringing some water after waiting 15 minutes for our own server, who seemed to have disappeared, then had to wait even longer after asking for a box to go.
They were polite, albeit unenthusiastic, but what was happening, folks? It was not your usual excellent standards of service. It is disappointing and absolutely not a reflection of previous experiences there.

Calm and relaxing place for a variety of eaters. Each time I order my eggs benedict/flurentine, my sides are different/inconsistent, and I need to explain my preference to get it. Sometimes it is with a charge and other times it is not. It is very annoying because the Raleigh branch is pretty consistent. Food is fulfilling and healthy. Love the fresh juices. Not the best coffee, however.

The food is average. The service is great. I can’t recommend if you want to eat something nice.

Ok, first let me say we really do like First Watch and usually go to the Cary location and love it.Today we went to the Apex location and it was not the same. The food was not as good, the servers were obviously too busy and did not come back to check on us to offer refills or anything else for that matter. We also ordered the new cinnamon roll and to say huge disappointment would not be capturing how bad it was, did not look anything like the picture on everyone’s table cards. First Watch Apex, you have some work to do.

This place is very good, we really like both the food and the service. Only on weekends it is a bit chaotic because there are generally a lot of people, you have to wait a long time to get in and the waiters can't cope.

Visited with family for Saturday brunch. Very nice menu with lots of options. The food is really good and fresh. We ordered the chicken breakfast tacos, Belgian waffle, chocolate pancakes.

It is SO LOUD in here. Seriously, invest in some baffles for your metal ceiling to help reduce the noise in here! The food was great and service was excellent as always, but having to scream across the table to talk to your family was definitely frustrating.

Scrambled eggs, bacon, cheesy potatoes with sundried tomatoes, and sautéed onions were served nice n hot ? off the grill. The portion size was very generous and topped with slices of fresh avocado ?.
The service was great (as usual) in the Apex location.
The tables in the restaurant were about 80% occupied when we arrived. Therefore, the only available tables were near the open kitchen.
It makes sense that guests are seated near the kitchen last.

We have been at thus location several times since we live close. The last 3 times in a month and a half . All three times we had issues..wrong food and that's ok..2nd time we sat outside and had to ask to get a server when others came after and got served..3rd time waited 40 minutes to be told we are still 4th on the list when we watched several couples check in after us and and get seated..this will be our last visit..The Cary location has always been great.

I love first watch! The service is always great and I love all the food options. This time I tried the seasonal donut holes, which were pretty good, and the farmer skillet hash. It was really good and a lot of food. The only complaint I have is that my honey caramel crunch coffee didn't have the crunchy bits in it, but it was still yum.
