Great local ice cream spot with cool employees and lots of attractive flavors! you can try a couple of samples before buying, and thankfully the portions are generous just like the good old days. The ice cream lacks flavor/ creamy texture that you usually get at handcrafted places, but it's still worth checking out.

Good ice cream and love having the special flavors of the month. However it’s a little unnerving that I am asked “how’s your day” right as the tip screen pops up every time, especially when theres attitude behind the scoop counter various times I’ve been. I’d like to think it is a coincidence, but dang, every time? Seems like a tactic these kids are forced to do. For the price of the ice cream, it is hard to try to tip when it is this scripted/not genuine.

In the past we really liked coming here with our kids. It is downtown and was a nice treat after activities or dinner downtown. Lately the quality of the ice cream has not been very good across multiple visits and there is no consistency in the same flavor from day to day.

This poor mom was waiting for the bathroom with her very young daughter and the daughter had an accident. She was so distraught and told the two young girls working in the store. They looked at each other and giggled and then one walked to the back of the store. The poor mom was crying as she left the store. We ate our ice cream and left about 30 minutes after the potty accident and they still had not cleaned it up despite having been told and having plenty of time between customers to address the puddle on the floor. No only was this cruel to the poor mom who was clearly embarrassed, but it was unacceptable to leave a puddle of urine on the floor for others to walk through and potentially slip on. I realize the kids working may not have wanted to clean this up, but keeping the restaurant clean is also their responsibility. Had they not been made aware of the situation it would have been different. Very disappointing.

Ice cream was good. But this is not a review of the ice cream, just wanted to say how disgusted I am at people's dishonesty and to the customer who stole a small shopping bag off the counter after I paid for my purchase... you are despicable and a thief, great example for your kids!

Pros: Loved the ice cream in the waffle cone and my dog enjoyed her whipped cream. Location is great and the guys working there are nice. Cons: Price ($8.58 final price for 1 scoop is a bit too high); and first ice cream place to make me pay for some whipped cream 😅
Whoever was working at the Apex location today btwn 3-4 did an AMAZING job. The line was out the door the entire time with screaming middle school pre-teens and he was calm, quick and efficient. He was alone behind the counter taking/making orders, ringing everyone up, everything by himself until around 4 (the gentleman who came in also was doing a great job but we left shortly after 4). Stellar service under pressure, very impressive! Please make sure they know they are appreciated!
