There's bunch of people at working but nobody seems to want to get the front register just walking around looking at us all like it's my not my job to do that. Nobody in store eating but customer waiting what excuse do u have to not take orders or even say something.

I’ve been going to the Apex NC KFC for a while, and the quality has been consistently disappointing. The food often tastes old, like it’s been sitting in the warmer for too long. The chicken is usually dry and has little to no flavor.
I still go back from time to time hoping things might improve, but it hasn’t changed. I request the management to take a closer look at this location and make the improvements it needs.

I feel so bad for the employees here. Always understaffed and taking crap from customers because of it. Just came on a busy Sunday and they had 2 employees for ENTIRE store. One cooking and one taking and filling orders. Long drive thru line and T least 6 people waiting in lobby. Not their fault at all. Whoever manages this location (and regional management) should find a new line of work. Consistently bad service and the reviews consistently highlight that.

Expect to sit at the intercom for ordering for at least 10 minutes. Then another 10 to get your food.

Stopped in around noon for a spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken was hot and fresh. The employee working was friendly and greated us when we came in, she was also quick to fill our online order.

Victoria (Mgr) was amazing! She was at this location today. For them to have limited help alot of times, they are extremely courteous and kind.

I was picking up two orders for Uber eats. Unfortunately they were short staffed only two people. But show out to Victoria she was very helpful. Working both the drive thru, front counter, and helping made orders. She was really great.

I’m writing to share my extremely bizzare experience with this KFC location. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter through the official 1-800-CALL-KFC line and the KFC website, I’ve received no resolution. I called again on November 25, 2024, and spoke with a representative named Colynne. Unfortunately, the call was difficult to understand, and when I politely asked to speak with a supervisor due to ongoing issues, I was refused. Her handling of the situation was unprofessional and dismissive.
When I arrive, the parking lot is near empty — yet I’m always asked to pull forward and wait. Then, suddenly, all these suspicious-looking cars pull up out of nowhere. It feels sketchy and unsettling, and it’s not something I expect when picking up food from a national chain.
The food quality was completely unacceptable. The chicken was soggy to the point that it soaked through and broke the container, and the mac and cheese was hard and inedible. The wait time was excessive, adding further frustration to the visit.
To make matters worse, the front counter employee was wearing a red necklace that resembled blood dripping from her neck. While I understand personal expression, this accessory was in very poor taste and inappropriate for a food service environment.
The experience and lack of communication warrant attention. After weeks of no response, poor service, and eventually having to throw out the food (which we held onto in hopes someone would follow up—the bag even started turning black), I would like a full refund.
Lastly, I recently learned that this location has a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), which unfortunately reflects the level of service I experienced.
This situation has been entirely unacceptable. I expect a prompt resolution and accountability from KFC corporate and this franchise location.

The corn and green beans were over-cooked. The 12-piece bucket of original recipe chicken was just wet with oil and the skin was not intact - most skin just slid off and was “wet”. Disappointed. Called store but no answer. I will not be going back.

No one working drive thru. I walked inside to order, only two people working in the whole place. 3 people in line before me , but nobody working the counter. Don't waste your time coming to this location.

I just came because they have potato wedges back and the wedges did not disappoint!!!!
When we got here at 5:00pm, we thought the place was closed because of how empty it looked. We should have taken that as a sign.
There were only two guys on staff. Up front, I noticed how sticky the front counter looked.
I got their two-piece chicken combo with white meat, and my wife also got the two-piece chicken combo but with dark meat. We also got a children's combo for our daughter. The total came out to $24.64.
They gave us our cups and we went over the soda fountain. The counter over by the fountain had soda rings and spills all over it.
The soda fountain itself was disgusting. I work at a place with a larger soda fountain, and I know that they take a lot of cleaning, especially because mold grows up inside of the spout where the soda comes out. Based on the outside of the machine, I can guarantee you it's nasty inside.
We opened up our boxes of food. My chicken breast was mostly bone (even though there is no bone in a breast) and the chicken wing was tiny and barely had any meat on it. What little chicken was there was overcooked and a little dry.
The chicken nuggets for my daughter were mostly breading with a little bit of dry chicken inside.
The best things about the meal were the side of gravy (which I had to go back up front and get because they left it out of our stuff) and the green beans for our daughter.
Kfc excels with the sides. But the actual chicken is most definitely overpriced. We can get an eight-piece fried chicken from food Lion for much cheaper, and the chicken tastes better than what we got at this KFC.
The two employees stood around talking, even though clearly there was much to clean up.
We drove past our KFC/Taco Bell to come here because we thought maybe they would be better being focused on one thing. We were wrong. Not coming back here again.
