Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge

I went into this store a few days ago. A young girl was working and was so helpful. She recommended some very good cherry cordials along with some very good ice cream. This girl deserves a raise!! Me and my husband have been here a few times and she was the friendliest and most helpful employee by far! I will definitely be coming back!

Great store! They have decorated for Christmas! The employees and owners are both very friendly, welcoming, and they have delicious ice cream, fudge, and truffles. The owners really enjoy having a friendly conversation with us and always suggest different samples to my kids. I love to always stop by with my family and get a few sweet treats.

I’ve been to this shop a couple of times when I’m in the area. A younger teen was working. I was BAFFLED, at her placing her BARE hands on the items selected. Paid in cash. Forgot to finish packing my items, gave me my cash back, and jumped to helping another customer after touching money before having to asked for my boxes. I’ve never experienced anything like this, but not the first time I got an off vibe from this location.

The staff is nice and generous. Highly recommended to try. Fresh baked and prepared.

The ice creams were sort of stale and stringy. The portions were not consistent.
Service was friendly. Not much space to sit in and have the meal there.

Amazing customer service and great ambiance. All ice creams flavors are so good, not overwhelmingly sweet and very palatable. Will go again and take all my friends and family. A must visit great family owned confectionery store.

We came in Kilwins after passing 2 gentlemen walking in the street with the big ice creams in the cone which looked so good and we asked them where they got it.
The ice cream place is big, with lots of chocolates in boxes and on the other counter.
A young lady greeted us and asked if we wanted to taste any flavors, we ordered one scoop of coffee chocolate chips and one scoop raspberry cake dough in a bowl, it was very good.
We really enjoyed the ice cream and will be back to taste other flavors and also the chocolate

Fun stop to cool off with ice cream and chocolates! Very well stocked and the owners are super friendly and helpful.

The ice cream is good, but the owner’s treatment of employees while customers are in the store is apprehensive. Take it to the office and shut the door, please.

Went downtown yesterday to walk around and decided to stop in Kilwins. Ordered a small sundae. It was $9.99 and he charged me $1.49 for probably 6 pieces of pecans. Yes, One scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone $9.99 then the rest of the sundae is extra apparently. The kid acted like he didn’t know how to make it nor how to charge it. The owner ( I’m assuming) was there and it seemed to me like the kid was worried he would be in trouble if he didn’t nickel and dime me in the cost. I’m all about supporting small businesses but this is robbery. I refrained from saying anything due to having family here, but we will not be back. Kilwins- do better, it should NOT cost a family of 4, $50 to eat ice cream.

On my recent visit, Tosh provided exceptional customer service—my friend and I felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated. It doesn’t hurt that everything there is absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to come back again.

Always smells weird in here. Especially compared to “fresh local ice cream”next door

We didn’t like how it seemed the manager treated the employee in training today. The girl was froze up when being confronted by the manager and I just felt bad.
