No longer vegetarian friendly. They decided to start putting pork in their refried beans and chicken broth into the rice (confirmed by manager on duty last weekend). I’m baffled as to why a restaurant would purposefully choose to lose business in this manner. Used to really enjoy going to this restaurant. Will not be returning.

We ordered the burrito plate with grilled chicken and shrimp plate with rice and vegetables, the food was decent and could have been fresh. We went there for dinner and the place was crowded and noisy with loud music. Definitely not a place to dine in with kids. Drinks were not great as well, pretty average and felt the prices were on the higher end.

Gorgeously decorated, excellent service (fun robots but also great staff), & delicious food. Lots of different menu options than your standard Mexican place (they have all the basics too, but also a ton more). Salsa is a little spicy with a good smoky flavor. I got the birria bowl & my husband got the seafood dish that comes in a pineapple. Our daughter enjoyed the kids cheese pizza & fries. We did not try any drinks but they certainly have loads of options.

From the moment we stepped into Mamacita in Apex, we were captivated. The beautiful art and decor are truly something to behold – every corner is Instagram-worthy and practically screaming for a photoshoot! Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. She helped me choose the perfect cucumber lime cocktail, and I was absolutely thrilled to discover it had ginger beer in it – my favorite! It was the ideal refreshing drink to start our celebration. We were there to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday, and she's notoriously a picky eater, so we were a little nervous. However, Mamacita completely won us over! Everything we ordered, from the whole fried fish to the sweet plantains and the succulent ribeye steak, was a hit. The fact that even my picky friend enjoyed every single dish speaks volumes about the quality and flavor of the food. Mamacita in Apex has definitely gained new regulars in us. We can't wait to come back!
