Food has recently been hit or miss. This time, we ordered delivery and the baked potato and nachos pick 2 was my first meal of the day. I was sick on the stomach within 10 minutes.
McAllister’s used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but I’ve been to this one several times and it does not do it for me anymore. The sandwiches are extremely small and the ingredients clearly aren’t quality. The soup was old and grainy. For the price, you’re not going to get anything worth having here.
Only giving this 2 stars because the food was good.
Waited 45 min for a mobile order. It was dead in there….kinda like the apparent souls of the workers. Never seen so many miserable people working.
Lots of dirty tables.
I had to go check on our order several times.
This establishment had a sign up that says teachers and nurses can get a tea for free for Teacher and Nurse appreciation week. I asked could I? and even showed my faculty id only to be told no because it ended one day before. It's literally showing appreciation for teachers and you couldn't spare an ice tea?? That's not customer service especially since it wasn't my fault the sign was still up. To me it's unnecessarily rude. To me the better approach would be for lil miss Becky to ask a manager if it was possible so it appeared like she tried vs just shutting down a simple request. The staff in the kitchen was no better and I with sloppily trying to rectify the issue with my food being out all on one plate. Then still forgot the cheese sauce. Who eats dry nachos???
IF I CHOOSE TO REVISIT THIS LOCATION, which I highly doubt, I will always walk out if lil miss Becky is behind the counter. She was rude. Mispronounced my name. And rolled her eyes multiple times.
This McAlister’s deli location is really has giving off the impression of Russian roulette, you never know when you’re going to get quality food or food that’s barely digestible especially when you’re paying top dollar for a deli sandwich. I’m not only disappointed in the quality of food I received but I chose this restaurant to be my dinner and was highly disappointed to the highest degree, I guess they were rushing being they were about to close in the NEXT HOUR. I arrived 50 minutes before closing , it wasn’t busy from what I can tell because I seen only 4 guests dining in & I was THE ONLY PERSON STANDING AT THE COUNTER WAITING TO PLACE AN ORDER SO my FOOD SHOULD NOT BEEN BURNED, ESPECIALLY ORDERING THEIR SIGNATURE MCALISTERS KING CLUB. The BREAD WAS BURNED VERY BADLY. I guess they dont care what is being served as long as they feel they can get away with it. QUALITY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS DEFINITELY NOT AT THE FORE FRONT OF THE BUSINESS. I would not have served that to ANYONE. Definitely a POOR EXPERIENCE…
I had to pay extra to order over the phone and pickup. Then I get home and my Rachel was just bread and turkey. No sauerkraut, there may have been cheese, but very little if so. Bread wasn't toasted and I didn't get the pickle they asked me if i wanted. Very disappointed for a 14$ sandwich.
I was calling about my order on door dash and the female that answered the phone hung up on Me 3 times. V ery rude. I was speaking calm and polite
Very skimpy sandwich. Soup thin.
Won't be going back. WAS a favorite place a few years ago. Not now.
The food here is hit or miss. If you order for takeout or order on the app, expect your food to turn up burned with all the toppings melted together. Ends up tasting like hard burnt cheese. If you eat in or at least order inside, then the food usually turns out fine and the service is okay.
Decent food, mildly overpriced took about 15 minutes to get a soup and half a sandwich to go once my order was placed.

Most McAlister’s Delis are clean with well-trained employees, but this one is extremely poorly managed. Turnover appears to be rampant. Employees are surly and appear to hate life. They don’t wear clothes that identify them as employees.
The restaurant dining is dirty. If you sit in any of the booths, just wipe your finger down the top of the half wall. Months of dust.
When the place opened l, they had cherry, helpful employees to ask customers if they wanted refills. That never happens any more.
My wife and I once came in for dinner at 7:00 pm. We sat on the right side of the restaurant where there was a clean booth. The cashier who took our order came over and asked us to move to the other side since they were closing that side for the night — 2 hours before closing.
We walked to left side and all booths were empty but still cluttered with trash and dishes.
The employee cleaned one table and wiped the table but left it soaked. We asked her if she could dry it off. She looked angry, turned and walked to the kitchen to get a rag. She finally came out and half-assed dried it off.
During the entire dinner, we never saw a single person cleaning the right side of the restaurant.
Food is generally good.
I would hate to have access to McAlisters in Apex. But continued mismanagement, poor/no training for employees and a dirty restaurant will continue to turn off customers and the restaurant will fail.
I’ve sent multiple emails to McAlisters, but have never received and email or phone response.
Scam!! Didn’t receive my food. After waiting for a while, went to the front and asked the manager for a refund. She took my receipt, went to the back for 2 seconds, then gave me back my original receipt after acting like she processed the refund. Still no refund in my account after a full week.
Caution! All three of my children were throwing up after eating the macaroni and cheese. Food was not good. Service worse.
Good food. Little pricey.
Broccoli cheddar soup was very water down. The tea was very water down. Will not come back here.
