Mezza Luna has become our go-to for pizza! We ditched our old downtown Cary pizza joint after trying Mezza Luna and we haven't looked back. We even ordered take-out for the Super Bowl from Mezza Luna.
The Grandma Pie is our favorite with its amazing crust, fresh sauce, and perfect amount of cheese. The other pies we've tried are also great, but we keep going back to the Grandma Pie. We pair with salads, meat balls, and calamari. We've loved everything we've ordered. Everything is fresh and pricing is also very fair.
Clean and relaxed environment. We've been there when it's been really quiet and we've also been there when it's been super busy. Either way, service has been efficient and friendly no matter the level of busyness.
You can tell it's a family-run business and they really pour themselves into Mezza Luna and their food. They even come out of the kitchen to interact and chat with customers, treating everyone like family.
If you haven't yet visited yet, do yourself a favor and give Mezza Luna a try. You'll definitely be back!

The Sicilian is absolutely delicious !!!!! BEST we’ve had in NC!!!! The meatballs are sooo good and the sauce is just fabulous!!!!! OMG !! This crust is absolutely perfect !!!! And, get an end piece to dip in the fabulous sauce !!!! Great job to the chef(s)!!!!! Geez, disappearing fast at our place!! Oh, PS, we got take out and the order was perfect!!!! Coming from Eastern Massachusetts, it's been hard to find a pizzeria that cooks a good pizza. Apex has a couple places that serve ok pies, but Mezza Luna reminds me of the corner pizzeria from back home. It's my go to wheb I want a good, crusty, cheese pizza. No funky canned flavors. The crust is delicious, not too thin and not doughy thick. No globs of cheese sloughing onto my plate. Every slice folds perfectly. Consistent with every order. These guys know how to make a great pizza. I look forward to trying their specials in the near future. They have a great looking selection of plates.

I ordered the Pizza Tre Colore and it was awesome! I love their Grandma pie which is the best and tried something new and it did not disappoint. The staff and the owners at Mezza Luna are so sweet and you can tell they all work so hard; they love what they do. I highly recommend!
