We unexpectedly had to stop at Mezza Luna after car troubles! We waited for a tow truck & walked to this restaurant. The owners were AMAZING! We chatted about life, food, the even gave my daughters food advice about treating others right! The food reminded me of the amazing pizza AUTHENTIC pizza I had in New York! We will travel again, and again… intentionally! May God continue to bless your business. Thank you! ❤️

The pizza and pasta were genuinely good, which made the service issues even more disappointing.
After being seated, we were not offered water, while tables that arrived after us were served water promptly. We only received water after asking.
We were polite, quiet diners, and our child was calm and well-behaved throughout the meal. Despite this, our server never once checked in with us — no “everything okay?” or “do you need anything?” — even though we clearly observed her doing so with other tables.
When we noticed our utensils were dirty and asked for replacements, they were taken away and returned without a single word or apology. Communication overall felt cold and dismissive.
Notably, the only person who asked if everything was okay was someone from the kitchen when bringing out the pizza — not our server.
The most uncomfortable moment was being brought the payment POS machine while our child was still actively eating and before we had asked for the check . This made us feel rushed and unwelcome.
Good food alone isn’t enough to make up for inconsistent and inattentive service. The noticeable difference in how our table was treated compared to others took away from what could have been a pleasant meal.

Mezza Luna in Apex is an absolute gem. The food is consistently amazing, with fresh ingredients and flavors that clearly show the care put into every dish. From the first bite to the last, everything tastes authentic and well-prepared. And somehow, the desserts are even better than the food. Each one is rich, perfectly balanced, and feels like the ideal ending to an already great meal. Whether you’re going for dinner or saving room for something sweet, Mezza Luna never disappoints and is definitely worth many visits!!
We were in town visiting from Texas ans the Pizza and service was great. Thanks to the server and cooks for a great visit. I had the vic special and my wife had the grandma's. We would definitely recommend both.

A couple of days ago we ordered pizza from Mezzaluna. We got a Cheese Pizza and a Barbecue Chicken pizza. Both were really good — nice, thin crust. As for the Barbecue Chicken, I’d say it’s my favorite after Hawaiian. It was honestly really tasty. Not overloaded with BBQ sauce like a lot of places do — everything felt perfectly balanced. We’ll definitely be ordering pizza from them again.
