Ate here this week for the first time. The cocktails at the bar were great! The pasta dishes were delicious and the service was excellent! Will be back!
Highly recommend Osteria G! Owners and staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. The food is AMAZING every single time! We love the menu change seasonally so there is always a new and delicious dish to try. The cocktails are top notch and the desserts are heavenly! Perfect spot for date night or any special occasion.
We have eaten here in the past and have loved it, but this time we were disappointed. The appetizer and both entrées were served lukewarm. Beef cappellacci had no detectable beef. Although I prefer pasta al dente, both pasta dishes were tough/chewy.

Osteria G is a GEM!! Their food is a work of art which shows in their presentation but even more in every bite. From the homemade butter flavors that change daily to the appetizers and entrees, the combination of flavors will challenge even the most experienced tastebuds. My mouth is still watering over our dinner, and the dessert was an equal match. Their revolving menu makes me excited to come back over and over! The low lit ambiance has been the perfect date night and girls night out, and their staff is as quality as they come!
Overpriced and disappointing food.
Very good service and ambience.
Autumn salad under seasoned, and pecan not toasted.
Fried calamari were dissent smelled fishy.
Salmon entree was good.
Dessert chocolate ganache tart was hard like a rock and impossible to cut into.
They had a long list of specials. I wish it was printed and came with the menu.
2 starters + 2 entrees + 1 dessert + 1 glass of wine = $145 tip not included.

You can’t get any better than OG!
Based on previous reviews, I was so excited to dine here. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed, despite the excellent service was excellent. The atmosphere is loud to the point where it was hard to hear each other speak, but I could have been on board with that if the food had been on point. My daughter's gorgonzola gnocchi had a grainy texture that was unappealing. Further, it was overwhelmed by gorgonzola and undersalted. It was supposed to have an herb brown butter, but that was just a pile of grease in the middle. There were walnuts in the dish to add some texture, but they were unchopped and bland. I ordered the salmon on special, cooked to "chef's temperature," expecting it to be medium to medium rare. Half of it was raw, which I didn't realize until it was too late to send it back. The salmon was further complicated by the sides it was served with, which were very rich and highly flavored to the point they overwhelmed the salmon. The bolognese was decent but undistinguished. The best thing we ate was the apple crisp at the end. For the prices and the reviews, I really expected more.

I have not experienced a better combination of service and food in this area. The seasonal menus are incredible. The bar area seems great and I look forward to having a drink there sometime. This is my new favorite place in the triangle!

Completely consistent food quality. From bread to dessert. I wish the fried calamari was a larger portion, that’s my one complaint. Meatball wellington, perfect. Pasta cooked perfectly.

Service was very good, the wait staff was very friendly. Food though, was nothing special, and it's very expensive. It was extremely loud when we were there. We couldn't hear ourselves speak at all. Music was cranking at times, for some reason.
I think they'd be better off if they made traditional Italian food, instead of trying to kick it up a notch. I guess they need a way to justify the expensive prices.
We probably won't be back.

The food here is absolutely delicious. The service is great and the owners are wonderful. We had 3 pasta dishes and one was better than the next. If you're in the area, you must go.

Celebrated my birthday and Mac, our waiter, really went out of his way to make my birthday experience a great one at Osteria G.
From the moment we approached the front door the service was amazing! A young man opened the door and greeted us with a big smile.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere and music were as well. The decor reminded of a castle!
Great experience. I would definitely dine there again!
