My favorite way to enjoy eggs is on toast or pancakes. When I recently visited here and ordered 2 pancakes & eggs over med, I was happy to see that the eggs were nicely done. But the pancakes were horribly sweet and I couldn't eat them. My son gave me some toast for my eggs and it was very sweet, too. As for atmosphere, it was noisy and not well bussed. Ick and spills were left on the floor for the next diners to step in. The wait staff was kept busy and did a good job of tending to the customers.

We stopped here for the first time this morning for a quick breakfast. My husband and I ordered and were pleasantly surprised. The diner has a great retro look and a very large menu. Our service was perfection. Our waitress was delightful and very informative about the diner. We had a delicious breakfast for under 40. Very affordable and the food is great quality.
Good southern food and very friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Went with my family from out of town. Food was really good. Portion size was great. Waitress was lovely, she was alone but did very well remembering things even if wait was a little long, it wasn't super long. Would definitely come back!

My mom and loved hwy 55. This afternoon we ordered to go. I ordered a BLT and soup. Mom got a burger. It was $50. My Blt was on reg white bread, no mayo, 2 tiny pieces of bacon, wilted lettuce and 2 small tomatoes. Fries were soggy. Very very disappointed considering the price. Will not be returning.

First, let me say our server Jacqui was really sweet very patient and very nice.BUT- There is no other way to describe the food, other than awful. I ordered the roasted turkey breast with stuffing and two vegetables. The roasted turkey breast was shredded and so dry that I could not even chew it nor swallow it. The stuffing was a rectangle that looked like it had been cut from a loaf and tasted like powdered chicken soup mix, and the gravy (which I have even asked to make sure it was turkey gravy and was told it was homemade light, brown turkey gravy) tasted like canned brown gravy and appeared dark brown just like it came right out of a can . I did not eat my food other than some vegetables. I did not even take it home with me. The other guest at the table ordered the French toast, which was completely raw inside. When our server came back to the table to ask if we wanted boxes, we said no, and she asked us to tell her honestly if something was wrong. After some hesitation, I finally shared with her why I did not eat my food. She went back to get my check and she took SOME of the cost of my food off, so I still paid for a meal I could not eat. It was not even good enough to bring home to try to doctor up.

This place is pretty good. Haven't had breakfast here but I have had lunch and dinner several times. Servers are always pleasant and the food is always good. The portions seem reasonable to me and the prices are on par with other restaurants in the area.
