Was looking forward to trying Potbelly for the first time. There’s not a lot of seating and tables are close to each other. The staff was not friendly like I would have expected with a grand opening. The sandwich was just “ok”, it wasn’t worth the price we paid and expected a better sandwich overall.

Seriously - some of the worst crap I ever spent money on. I could have stayed home & cooked some bacon & added some wilted lettuce, put it in the fridge overnight & had an uncrispy bacon & wilted lettuce sandwich. REALLY - it was that bad. The non-existent “service” had uninterested children too busy on their cell phones to pay attention to their jobs, or to even give a smile. It was worth my $24 to have learned NEVER to go back to such a crummy place. Try Firehouse in Apex, or ANY Subway - good subs with friendly service. I will be sure to spread the word - I am not kidding. Your crummy dive is a bad joke.

The new Potbelly in Apex has instantly become our work crew’s go-to lunch spot. It’s right next door, and after our first visit, we all agreed we’d found a new favorite. The manager is incredibly outgoing and brings an energy that makes the whole place feel welcoming the moment you walk in.
The sandwiches are the real draw—great variety, great flavor, and the kind of menu that keeps tempting you to try “just one more” new item each time you visit. Everything comes out clearly made with care.
The store itself looks great too. The decor has a clean, cozy charm that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a break from work. Overall, it’s exactly the kind of spot you hope opens near your job, and we’re happy it finally did.

no much flavor in the Italian sandwich. not a real hoagie/ sub. Fratelli's is authentic, with top quality meats and rolls. a real northern style sandwich.
