Terrible experience. Ordered online at 4:37 pm (not a busy time) and it said 30 minutes. I arrived at 5:10 and was told it would be 15 more minutes. A bit inconveniencing, but not the end of the world. At 5:45 they tell me they have no Canadian bacon and my last pizza hasn’t gone in the oven yet. I ordered over an hour ago at this point. They offered me a drink or a slice of pizza for this delay/not having the topping I paid for. I said I am ordering three pies and have plenty of drinks at home. They gave me a $20 gift card, which I appreciated. While waiting in the restaurant for over a literal hour, I witnessed the phone ring and ring and go unanswered, and no one even walk in for 30+ minutes straight. Two separate individuals arrived around 6, and both were told their food was not ready. How is everything delayed if there are so few orders? The food was fine, but this place is either understaffed, poorly run, or both.

We placed an order for 4 pizzas at 4 pm to be picked up at 5:15 pm. You would think this would be an easy order for a pizza place to fill. Unfortunately for Rosati’s, this was an impossible task. At 5:30 when we arrived to get the pizza (15 min after pickup time), it still wasn’t ready. Waited around for a while. Eventually asked the staff and was told “we just put yours in!” 15 min later…no pizza. This was repeated multiple times. Obviously the staff was just lying to our faces as it was not handed off to us until 7:15 pm! 2 hours after scheduled and over 3 hours after the order was put in. The owner wouldn’t even comp our order for such poor service and only offered a paltry $10 gift card. And to add insult to injury, they did not even make our orders correctly, making both the wrong sizes and adding the wrong toppings. Will never return and recommend no one else does either. Poorly managed and obviously poor training for staff.

Hoping I didn’t have to do this but Rosatis had let me down for the 3rd straight time. Pizza quality took a quick dive and service has slumped. Ordered online with 30 minute window came in at 45 min and pizza wasn’t started. Luckily got a refund but multiple other patrons weren’t as lucky and some had been waiting for almost 2 hours. Definitley had high hopes but unfortunately won’t be going back anytime soon.

This is the 5th time I have tried Rosati’s in Apex because of its location. Unfortunately they have failed in both food quality and service. I waited for 5 minutes today to pick up my to go order before anyone acknowledged my presence. FOOD was cold despite my wait. Contacted the owner (for the second time) and her response, “I have a life despite this” “I have a business to run and can’t afford more people”. Hopefully this place will go out of business and replaced with someone who cares about quality of food and customer service because THIS PLACE HAS BAD FOOD and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We really liked the food but it wasn’t clear to us that we HAVE.TO take out only. Theres a few very small and cramped tables to eat at if you have to. I wish they had some outdoor tables, too. A couple tables for families would be nice.
If you’re from Chicago - yes, this is the Rosati’s you know and love. If you’re not from Chicago, try the pizza, their thin crust is *chefs kiss*. I have no doubt that their deep dish is equally as wonderful. We will definitely return.

Excellent Chicago thin crust pizza! I'm grateful to have given Rosati's Apex a 2nd chance. My first order was delicious but delayed. I've ordered Rosati's from different states and this is consistent with the recopies and flavor I've come accustom to. Only thing is the sandwiches appear to be shrinking over time (like everywhere) :)

Be as I’m originally from Chicago, I can confidently say there’s nowhere else in North Carolina to get pizza this good. Especially square cut thin crust. Ask for it well done. Will be the best Chicago pizza you’ve had in the state.
