Good amount of cheese, crispy crust and dough, a little light on the sauce but good flavor and good amount of oregano. A little less salt and more garlic powder in the dough but not too much and your pizza will be 100 percent New York style. I’m glad I tried it out, I was hesitant since there is a gas station next to it but don’t be fooled this is a good place.

This place was highly recommended and it fell short which was a shame. I called Thursday to make a reservation for 7 people on Saturday evening. Received a confirmation text for my reservation and then received a reminder on Friday asking for confirmation which I responded with “1” to confirm my reservation for 7 people. This was for my birthday dinner, which I didn’t mention when I booked the reservation, but another family member called to ask about birthday desserts and told the person that this reservation was for a birthday. We arrived at 6:15 for our 6:15 reservation with all parties present. When the hostess took us to the table it was set only for 6 people. I pointed out that the reservation was for 7 she just blankly stared at me and said “Well can’t you just squeeze 4 people on one side?”. Keep in mind these tables are the standard square tables for two people with three pushed together to have three on each side. I just looked and said “No, there won’t be enough space.” She then said “Well I’ll just pull this chair over and you can sit here.” The chair was put in a spot that had the back of it touching the table group behind it. The table group to the right was a setting for 8 so we asked our waitress to confirm if that was our reserved table and she said “No it’s for a party of 8”. Okay that’s fine but still an annoying start since all was confirmed for 7 and it feels like we were being an inconvenience due to poor set up. The party of 8 that came in had 3 toddlers which in truth could have easily been able to “squeeze” four on a side setting of three instead of trying to put four adults in a three person sitting. The inside of the restaurant was extremely loud and chaotic with people running around fast that it unfortunately set a veterans ptsd off who had to end up stepping out to take a breath. When they did that, one of the toddlers to the table beside us started to kick the extra chair because of how close it was since it was not a logical spot to another seat. This was the final straw where we finally just asked can we just sit outside where there was a table for 8 and plenty of room. I’m not sure why that wasn’t an offer instead of trying to squeeze us into a spot with no room but thankfully we could so we grabbed our drinks and stuff and moved outside. God bless our waitress Grace, she truly was amazing. We made sure we said it was not a reflection of her because she truly didn’t have control on the reservations or how the front of house handles the seating. She was an amazing server and definitely saved the evening from going sour when it was to be a night of celebration.

The short rib risotto was delicious!

The service was great and the food was phenomenal! I had the pasta primavera, and my brother ordered the carbonara and a calabresa pizza — everything was delicious.

The only downside was the scent inside; during our lunch visit, there was a noticeable sewage smell mixed with air freshener. Despite that, we’d definitely come back — maybe next time we’ll try a meal on the patio.

Very nice restaurant in Apex. There was a very large party ahead of us and they still managed to get everyone served with minimal wait. We tried the aranchni which was very good. My husband loved the vibrant San Marzano tomato sauce. He had Chicken Marsala in a delicious brown sauce served with roasted potatoes and asparagus. I had spaghetti with meatballs. They know how to properly cook and season pasta here. For dessert, the tartufo was a delight for me and my husband's tiramisu was a cloud of fluffy flavorful enjoyment. Great service by our waiter, Joel, and all the rest of the staff. We will be back! Wish I had pics to share. Maybe next time.

Went yesterday, Sunday around 2, and it was not crowded. They did a great job with the interior renovation. Don't know why some reviews say seating is tight. Its not. Food was excellent and portions were satisfying. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. With a bottle of wine and dessert it was about $35 per person before the servers tip.

My friend took me here for my birthday dinner. When we walked in, we both thought that the restaurant was cute. When we were seated, we realized how tight the seating actually is. I really felt like we were in a table of four with the random two people sitting next to us. It was difficult to talk because the people were right next to us. I could hear every bit of their conversation which was awkward. I ordered a salad and the pizza she ordered calamari and a pizza. I specifically asked if the margarita pizza had sliced tomatoes on it, and the waitress assured me that it did not. Both appetizers were good. When my pizza came out, there were tomato slices all over it. Our waitress didn’t bring it and I probably should’ve said something, but I didn’t. The pizza was just OK. I don’t particularly love tomatoes on my pizza so I pulled them all off, but then the pizza was watery overall. It was just OK. As a born and raised New Jersey girl who loves Italian food, and is Italian, I would not go back.

The food and service were excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

Only complaint is that the seating is very tight and if you get a noisy table next to you (as we did) then it’s a bit tough.

Also, they were blasting “Best of Frank Sinatra” over the stereo a bit too loudly.
