Well, we made the best of our circumstances. My child and I were IN the Apex Christmas Parade and were famished by the time it was over. We walked over to get a bite at Salem Street Pub, which was probably my first mistake. The place was packed! Not a seat in the house. So, we decided to dine outside...and it was chilly, but again, we were HUNGRY! It took a very long time to order and then the food took a bit to come out, but was it delicious when we ate it. We were very hungry! Thankful my little one was patient enough to wait! I might be back. It will NOT be on a parade day!

Nice pub. We had a party melt and Shepard's pie. Have had much better Shepard's pie but the pm was fine. Service was prompt and fine and prices were reasonable. You could eat outside in a few tables by the street.

Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious! We had the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer (yum!). We had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a “build your own” grilled chicken sandwich for entrees. The fries were super tasty too. Highly recommend!

Great local pub with a wide selection of beers. Moonshine cocktails are excellent and they do an awesome job with seasonal specials. You must try pickle shots here. Bartenders are friendly and provide excellent service. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is fun during the weekend. It's been a go to hangout space for us and I highly recommend this place to others.

I recently visited Salem Street Pub, and I am genuinely baffled by its popularity. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive.
To start with, the food was disappointing, even by typical bar food standards. Every dish I tried was lacking in flavor and quality, leaving much to be desired. It's hard to understand how anyone could enjoy the offerings here.
The service wasn't much better. It was mediocre at best, with staff who seemed disinterested and inattentive. This only added to the underwhelming experience.
In summary, I would advise against spending your money at Salem Street Pub. You're better off finding another place to dine or using those funds for something more satisfying—perhaps even as kindling for your fire pit. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere.

I guess it must be me, remembering a day gone by and thinking it was better than today. The menu is different the food isn’t the same (different buns, different patties, the fries are different). It’s still a great family place. The food is still good, and the staff is so nice… I just remember how it tasted before they changed out the griddle and the deep fryer for what’s in the kitchen, now.

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great. I ordered a burger with grilled chicken, but they added so much BBQ sauce that I could barely taste the chicken. The fries were extremely oily as well. The Brussels sprouts weren’t so bad, but they were still drowning in sauce.
