It's the best fish sandwich out there . The slaw is outstanding and the staff is nice . Here is my one and only grip with skippers . Everything with the exception of the fish sandwich is way way to overcooked . The onion rings were almost laughable they were so over done I could barely eat it and only had a very little bit before i threw the rest away . Shrimp is the same way . Its unfortunate because i really like skippers Fish sandwich , coleslaw , baked beans and a glass of whatever snd you are good to go! Don't stray beyond that !

I was here to have a good french fry since it's the number one quick bite place in apex big mistake from me before fries taste raw with no food coloring and it's way too expensive

Hadn't tried this place despite coming to Apex frequently. Really wish I had tried them sooner. Excellent fried seafood served hot, fresh and from friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Vegetarian options: Few and far between. Not a vegan/vegetarian place.

Liked the food. Tried fish sandwich, onion rings and Jambalaya soup. Everything tasted good. Even the Togo packing is excellent. Will be a return customer for sure.

This is a great seafood place. We love it. Fantastic slaw doesn't hurt either. My wife loves the oysters and the okra. I always have fried shrimp either alone or as part of a combo.

The food was ok... I enjoyed the jambalaya myself online said they had some gumbo so thats what i wanted but when we got there they said they dont have it, but my kids said they food was just ok and one said she didn't enjoy it at all.

I like them and love their homemade hotsauce and cocktail sauce. said they're opening more restaurants in the future. hope they keep same core values amd integrity as they grow.

Since its here in town it convenient, have eaten in house and had take out. The last three times i have ordered clam strips ( my favorite seafood since childhood) they have been way over cooked snd mostly beyond being edible. This last time the hushpuppies were either over cooked or cooked in old oil. The fish and chips coleslaw ordered by the rest of the house was fine as usual.

Amazing fried seafood. Never had a bad plate. Baby flounder and fried oysters are incredible, I don't know how they do it. Best coleslaw, best sauces.
