It's the best fish sandwich out there . The slaw is outstanding and the staff is nice . Here is my one and only grip with skippers . Everything with the exception of the fish sandwich is way way to overcooked . \nThe onion rings were almost laughable they were so over done I could barely eat it and only had a very little bit before i threw the rest away . Hadn't tried this place despite coming to Apex frequently. Really wish I had tried them sooner. Excellent fried seafood served hot, fresh and from friendly staff. Highly recommended.

This is a great seafood place. We love it. Fantastic slaw doesn't hurt either. My wife loves the oysters and the okra. I always have fried shrimp either alone or as part of a combo.
