I had really high hopes because of their ratings but I was so disappointed…I ordered tuna rolls, California rolls, spicy tuna rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, and tuna nigiri. It was horrible, the tuna was so big and chunky, the California rolls had no taste to it. Everything was tasteless.

The restaurant felt incredibly clean and well-organized, and you could sense the chef’s philosophy of Japanese cuisine in every detail of the dishes. Each plate reflected precision, care, and authenticity. The staff were also very kind and professional.

From the warm greeting at the entrance to the spotless restrooms, every aspect impressed me. You can genuinely feel the sincerity and pride behind this restaurant. That’s why I wanted to write this review—to help more people discover this gem.
The prices are reasonable, especially for Japanese cuisine, and I’m already planning to come back when I have time. As someone who also works in the restaurant industry, I can confidently say Sushi Suyu is a truly special place worth recommending.

Nice atmosphere friendly staff. Was able to sit right away. A little disappointed that the sashimi dinner didn't come with soup or salad, everything was separate. The rice was falling apart and not quite sticky

Food was fresh and tasty. I got the Papa Salmon roll (shrimp tempura on the inside and tempura salmon on top) and Tamago Nigiri. With a miso soup this was plenty of food for dinner. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good sushi with a nice ambiance, without breaking the bank. Service was excellent, thank you to the nice waitress who served us.
