Overall this is a really cute shop! The staff was really kind and the chicken salad sandwich was so good! Condiments are in the store they don’t have packets, but I would check this place out!!

This is a great little gem tucked away in an easily overlooked location. We stopped in for breakfast sandwiches and enjoyed fresh coffee and chai, all made when we ordered.

As a part of our tour of local coffee shops, my wife and I visited the Grind Coffee House for a morning date. Coffee was definitely good quality and on par with Starbucks with a comparable intensity in their roast but less of that "burnt Starbucks flavor". The dessert was good even if it felt a little overpriced, but we shared so it was fine. This is a decent coffee house for a quick stop and shop but, being a newly opened shop and previously a McDonalds, there is still a lot of work to be done on the ambience to make it a destination coffee shop. The owners have definitely taken steps to improve the appearance, but it may take some time to make this a truly enjoyable dine-in experience.

So we were in town for my daughters soccer tournament, this place was rt around the corner from our hotel & I like to hit local spots if available. Anyway I stopped in Sunday am to grab a couple coffees, I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Erin, she was the only one working, apparently her help was a no show. She had couple people already waiting, Uber eats drivers coming in for pick ups & well as on line orders steady popping up. Not to mention people in the drive thru. Let me just say she was killing it, knocking all the orders out, speaking to everyone that walked in w/ a huge smile & had the best attitude. I honestly don’t know how she was doing it but she was. This type of work ethic is rare nowadays unfortunately. So to the owner of the place if Erin is not a manager she needs to be because she’s a great example of a Rock Star employee, oh & by the way my bagel & latte were both very good as well as priced very fair. Good luck Erin & keep up the good work it will pay off I promise. JD

Excellent spot for quick delicious coffee, a good bite & accommodating dietary needs. Service was fast and friendly! Gluten free & dairy free options. Kind and caring service from the man behind the counter, don’t be deterred by the fact that it’s connected to a gas station. It was awesome & we will be back! :)

The cafe shares the gas station convenience store under the same roof. The coffee tasted really, really solid. But the milk used in my cappuccino had gone bad so I couldn't exactly take more than two sips.Things like these happen to the best of the cafes, I'll give it another try to be sure of the coffee quality.

The staff was very welcoming and kind! The coffee is delicious, as well as the bagel sandwiches my wife and I had. Will definitely be coming back and adding them to our list of local favorites.

This used to be a McDonald's, but it's now a coffee shop and they brew pretty damn good coffee! We went two days in a row while staying at a hotel nearby, and it was good friendly service and tasty coffee.

The owner is fantastic and accommodating. Loved the iced caramel macchiato. He dropped off free samples at our place of business and couldn’t have been happier with the drinks. We will be giving him our business!

Coffee is great! I really enjoyed talking to the barista, he was so accommodating and helpful in what my options were. It's hard to find a solid cup of coffee in Apex, so it's awesome that another one has emerged. Yes the entrance can be tricky but to Google Maps credit, it knew to have me go on US 1 for half a mile then take the exit for an easy right hand entrance. Instead of taking 55 towards Holly Springs, which isn't as easy to get into the place. Worth checking out if you're craving something new for your coffee fix.

My mother and I tried The Grind out this morning and loved it! We both got bagel sandwiches (try their jalapeño bagels, they’re delicious!) and we thoroughly enjoyed it!! We’ll definitely be coming back :)

Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. The coffee is really good and reasonably priced for specialty coffee. The sandwich I got tasted great, the chicken salad was wonderful and the sourdough bread was perfect!! Will be back to try something new next time. Also wanted to mention how nice the staff was!!! 10/10

Stopped by here for the first time today. I was a little confused because Google maps says it is a drive thru. I pulled up to the window and sat, but no one came up to the window. So I proceeded to park and go inside. They had several options of coffee grounds, kcups, muffins, bagels, sandwiches, chips etc. The layout was really nice and clean. I was greeted by a kind young man who took my order. I got the Cappuccino Crunch icecream and the Cowboy blend kcups. The icecream was DELICIOUS! I look forward to coming back and checking out more of their products. I would suggest more clear signage on the windows to show where you are to order and some attentiveness to the window. Otherwise, everything was great!
