Our biggest mistake was not learning of Utica Bakery earlier. WOW! We sampled about 8 different items and they were all fantastic. Tomato pie, not southern, brought back great memories from up north. Cream puffs, eclairs, cannoli, stuffed bread rolls, everything delicious! Can’t say enough nice things about the girl taking orders. She was very patient, answered all questions with knowledge and friendly. Definitely going back and trying some other items. I think the Belgian chocolate eclair stuffed with strawberry mousse was one of the best things I have tasted in my life! Not kidding!

Oh my goodness. WOW. For all of my fellow NY & Italian American transplants, this spot is the real deal. There is really no other bakery in NC - at least that I have come across - that is putting out Italian pastries like this. Everything was so fresh, so delicious - I felt like I was back home. 10/10, no notes. Just go.

Utica Bakery hands down has the best baked goods in the triangle. This weekend they had key lime pie and it was the BEST I have ever had. The meatball and pepper/Olive bread rolls were super delicious too. Highly recommend this place!!
We LOVE Utica Bakery! There goods are the real deal-incredibly fresh and delicious and what you find in Italian bakeries in NY and Chicago. We recently had a rum sponge cake for my husband’s birthday. It was INCREDIBLE, beautiful, and delicious! Thanks, Utica! So glad you’re back!
So I grew up in the 60's and 70's right up the street in utica that made the best Half moons and Tomato pie. I now live here in NC and love to be able to get my fix without having to have a family member delivery it from NY. You have done a great job bringing these 2 items to NC. But I do have one suggestion on your Tomato pie 😊 I believe you got the sauce down pat 👍, but the crust needs to be softer and moisture and not so airy and dry. And reduce the size of the ends. Too much hard crust with no sauce 😊 Half moons are great but they could be better with the cookie part be thinner and more fudgie and the vanilla frosting be more creamy like the chocolate frosting. But all and all everything is great at the Utica Bakery. Thank you for bringing a little bit of Utica to Apex. Hope you open a little restaurant soon with Greens on the menu 😋

The cheesecake is out of this world! We also enjoyed the cream puffs and eclairs with whipped cream and raspberry mousse filling - both amazing. I would not call it a traditional eclair as the only difference between the eclair and cream puff seemed to be a chocolate topping on the eclair - the cream puff was better in my opinion. The cheesecake was absolute perfection! I did get the savory lobster tail and it was fine as was the sfogliattelle - good but not as stand out as the others.
I do wish they had a stool to stand on to better see the window and options better.
This is an outdoor permanent trailer for lack of a better word with a wood chip walk up. We were able to easily park right in front - street parking.
Can't wait to return to try other items AND get a slice of cheesecake!

We finally made it to Utica Bakery today for the first time and can’t wait to be back. The staff is wonderful and everything we ordered was delicious. The cheesecake is 10/10!

Lovely spot with delicious Italian desserts. I personally love sweets but ones that aren't over the top kind of sweets and they have these. I have tried 8 different items from Utica Bakery and all have been phenomenal! Wish they were open more often and I would definitely go. Very friendly employees and good price points too.
