Our biggest mistake was not learning of Utica Bakery earlier. WOW! We sampled about 8 different items and they were all fantastic. Tomato pie, not southern, brought back great memories from up north. Cream puffs, eclairs, cannoli, stuffed bread rolls, everything delicious! Can’t say enough nice things about the girl taking orders. She was very patient, answered all questions with knowledge and friendly. Definitely going back and trying some other items. I think the Belgian chocolate...

For all of my fellow NY & Italian American transplants, this spot is the real deal. There is really no other bakery in NC - at least that I have come across - that is putting out Italian pastries like this. Everything was so fresh, so delicious - I felt like I was back home.
