We stopped by 12 Bones with our two frenchies after hiking outside of Hendersonville on our way to our Airbnb in Fletcher. We loved that they were so dog friendly in the taproom, even providing us with a bowl of water for them. The beer selection was great, & the food was awesome too! We were very disappointed! We hadn’t eaten at a 12 bones in years and were looking forward to it as we were passing through. Our ribs were very dry, almost jerky like, felt like we were getting some that had been stacked up awhile. The Mac and cheese was average, maybe a step above something out of a box and the corn pudding wasn’t all that. Cornbread was ice cold. The only bright spot in our meal was the jalapeño cheese grits.
Love it. Walked in this afternoon and was greeted by a very friendly bartender that took awesome care of us. After a couple of samples from a broad selection we settled in on some beers and went next door to order some Q, which was in itself excellent. Anyway, great time and will be back next time I'm in Arden.
