“I had breakfast Sunday morning at Abuela's Little Kitchen in Arden on Long Shoals Rd. "Abuela" means grandmother in Spanish and it felt like she was in the kitchen cooking! The food was wonderful and the service was exceptionally good! My server came immediately after I was seated and at all the appropriate intervals. She was pleasant and checked to see if everything was okay after I ate a couple of bites of food. The owner came by to see if I enjoyed my breakfast. All of the booths were full and the restaurant was fairly busy. They are open 7am-3pm and serve breakfast and lunch. There are a lot of choices with a Mexican flare, as well as American traditional items, like bacon eggs, grits, pancakes and French toast. I ordered Abuela's Sweet Combo with scrambled eggs, bacon and home potatoes with a choice of pancakes, French toast or crepes. It was delicious! I also had coffee. The owners have also introduced a new concept called Abuela's Cravings down the road at 200 Julian Lane, with Mexican street food, tacos, tortas, burritos and more. Open 11am-8pm. I can't wait to try it!”

“Love this place! It's a go to spot for me and my celiac husband. We drive here often (1.5hr drive) because the food is bomb, atmosphere is fun, and the staff are so sweet. The Gluten Free items are clearly marked. Great date night place! My favorite it the General Tso tacos and chips and queso!”

“We had a nice dining experience at this location. The server was friendly. The food was good. However, I would most def order something different. The smoothie is a bit overpriced, imho. I have included menu photos. We had 6 in our party and everyone was pleased with their selections.”

“Stopped here on our drive thru the area for a quick lunch. The tacos Al pastor were good and my husband enjoyed his steak burrito. Cheese quesadilla was good for the little one. Yummy authentic Mexican food if that’s what you’re craving. 2 tacos were very filling. Only complaint is the outside seating area (picnic tables) had a lot of trash and bottle caps laying around… an easy fix to up the atmosphere.”

“Baked pie company has been one of my family's favorite dessert spots for years. My wife and I frequently enjoy lunch dessert dates there throughout the week. All of the pies and the great selections are wonderful. The service is always great and the restaurant is always really clean. We also enjoy on warm days sitting outside on the patio, enjoying a nice pie flight.We visited there today and I will note that we were a little disappointed to find that they no longer had flavored coffee creamers. I know this might sound a little, but I hope that they will bring back the flavored creamers as nothing goes better with a pie fly than a nice cup of coffee.Still well worth a five-star review!”

Very good and a large portion. My wife had spaghetti and meat sauce. She thought both were very good. Service was good. We've made this one of our regular places to eat and think this is the best Italian restaurant in Asheville. And yes, that includes the very popular Italian restaurant that has a waiting line outside all the time. We don't like their marinara sauce.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible.”

“Finally got I finally try this place out after driving past it for years, and I was thoroughly impressed. I got a massive custom made to order burrito chips in a drink for 12 dollars. This thing was packed to the max and it was well made and folded. I'd say it's the top burrito joint in Asheville between the low price, huge portions and authentic quality and skillfull Mexican service.”

“We were seated almost immediately. We came around noon so the breakfast rush was over. Place seemed clean. Our server was the sweetest. I think her name is Kelly. Food came promptly and was delicious. I had strawberry pancakes and my husband had an omelet. Nice portions too. Hot chocolate was the best! I would recommend !”

I was struggling to decide what I wanted, and Mallory specifically made fantastic recommendations, and I have never been happier with the quality of food and a Chick-fil-A. Mallory was so patient as I am very indecisive and normally stubborn, but somehow her smile and enthusiasm led me to have an awesome experience. As for the cleanliness of the Chick-fil-A, I was delighted. It is pristinely clean, and the workers have clearly been trained excellently. Mallory was a delight, and I am excited to see where her career goes in the Chick-fil-A family. Give that girl a raise!”
