“This is likely our favorite brewery in Asheville! We have a wonderful experience every time we visit which is unfortunately every few years, but always worth the wait. We stopped in last Monday afternoon and were welcomed immediately, the bartender from Denver who I unfortunately didn’t get his name was one of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time. We stayed longer than anticipated because we were having such an enjoyable time with great beers! Their tap list ranges from basic lagers to breakfast porters and many things in between. They have some beer options to go in this location, for merchandise we went next door to the main Green Man brewery. You can’t beat the vibe here at Dirty Jacks though, can’t wait until we can visit again!”

“We dined at Huli Sue's last weekend, and everything was FANTASTIC! We had the sampler platter and added the mac and cheese. The food was absolutely amazing! The barbeque was so good, and the mac and cheese was super flavorful and cheesy. I had a Mai Tai, and it was honestly the best one I've ever had. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The other servers were as well. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I cannot wait to return!!!”

“Table never disappoints and continues to be top notch! We called 4 different downtown restaurants tonight to try to get a table for two and they were all booked up… so we just figured we’d try to walk into table… they were able to seat us immediately! The service and staff were great… but the food was next level! The tuna crudo was to die for! The squashes were delectable! We shared the chicken for an entree and it was amazingly delicious! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and composition was creative and inspired. Can’t wait to go back :)”

“extraordinary! we are so fortunate to live down the road from plant. we sat at the bar got a chance to speak to the owner and one of the chefs. the food is out of this world. if I wasn't watching them make it I wouldn't believe that it is vegan. we do our best to keep our vegetarian diets. this place is from another planet. there's nothing on this menu that doesn't blow your mind. the food is delicious and clean and fantastic for you. well worth it”

“We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.”

“Had an absolutely exquisite dinner at Little D's. We were a party of 3. To start, we shared the Heirloom Tomato and the Pan Seared Scallops. For entrees, we had the Duck Breast, the Pork Loin, and the daily special, which was Halibut. The preparations were inventive, the flavor profiles were amazing....it was all delicious. We all absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.”

“Restarted, it with crab stuffed mushrooms and spinach, crab meat oysters. They were delicious then we ended it with two lobsters, potatoes and corn and also a salad. Everything was delicious and our waitress was so kind. She even cracked our lobster and took all the meat out of it for us..”

“This place is truly amazing from the views to the food and the drinks even the service! Sat at the bar and chatted with Carmen! The bourbon and tequila selections are out of this world. These bartenders really know their stuff!! Ordered a paper plane and the cantaloupe martini, both were amazing! We go the artichoke pizza and the spicy Italian!! It was amazing! Highly recommend the chocolate torte for dessert!!! Definitely coming back and sitting at the bar!!!

“The worst service ever you're always in line at least 15 minutes. Order two Quarter Pounders no pickles no lettuce no tomatoes just a bun and a piece of meat. And the staff seem to be untrained and unfriendly. Too many fast food restaurants around that McDonald's to ever visit it again. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars no stars”

“Welcoming coffee shop in the middle of West Asheville, nicely tucked away off Haywood Rd. Ash (owner & barista) serves regular coffee, classic and seasonal signature espresso drinks featuring local roasters, plus matcha and other non-coffee options. The Li’l Deb (espresso, oatmeal cream pie syrup, steamed oat milk) is my personal go-to when it’s on the menu and I wish to lord over commoners in my fanciest trousers. Fresh baked goods like roasted veggie danishes, croissants, bagels and vegan options from a few of my favorite local bakers too. I check Instagram @badmannerscoffee for menu updates, artist and baker pop-ups. Badass aesthetic inside and immaculate vibe with music ranging from Frank Ocean to Dolly Parton depending on the day. All said it’s a really chill, comfortable spot where I see my friends and I’ve even made some new ones since coming here. Highly recommend.”

“The best pizza we have ever had. We have been enjoying it for some time and had it when our parents came for a special occasion. My dad said "I have been on the planet 74 years and this is the best pizza I have ever had" (meat lovers, of course). I am glad I live close enough to enjoy it often!”

“This was a great little stop for lunch for my family; a classic carry out. We were looking for a good burger and found it. The burgers were thick, lean, patties that are grilled well. Their fries and tots were crisp and golden on the outside, soft on the inside, and actually tasted like fries and not oil. The restaurant was easy to find, plenty of parking, with a pretty fast drive thru. We ate in and had space for 7 of us. Our food was done fast and well. We weren't given a thrown together mess like some carry outs tend to give. Everyone here was very nice and friendly and the service was great!!”

A bunch of our kids (three families) kept themselves occupied on the arcades, ‘soccer pool’ table, and other games whilst we enjoyed good beer from within the main brewery warehouse. Relaxed vibe, good burgers at the on-site food truck (Rebel burgers - they also do tacos), and all-in-all, a great spot to visit.”

“By far the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. They are always super friendly, efficient, and always making sure to get your order right. Kim is the best and always makes an effort to greet me and remember my order every time. There is also a regular staff member there who I don’t know her name but she is also amazing. I always order my cold brew with light ice and when she noticed the barista put too much ice in it, she corrected it and made it a learning lesson for her fellow staff member and told her “I’m just trying to help you be the best barista you can be.” I can’t say enough good things about this location. I wish they were all as amazing as this staff!”

“We stopped in for a quick lunch on a road trip from Chattanooga to Charlotte. One of the people in our party was vegan, so he suggested coming here. We have had mixed experiences with vegan restaurants in the past, but this was amazing. I had the gyro, which was as good of a gyro as I have had anywhere, vegan or otherwise, and the fries were amazing. The service was fast, friendly, and helpful; and the restaurant was clean and well organized. This is definitely on the top of our list for places to eat in Asheville.”

“I’ve been here for brewery tours twice and have had a great time both times. One of the tours was the 90 minute tour yesterday and it was super fun and funny and informative. I’m amazed and impressed by all the sustainability measures they’ve undertaken. We got to try decent-sized pours of three different beers. Our tour guide, Keion, was awesome. The Liquid Center after the tour was great as well. Super chill and beer tasted great and food trucks were a perfect bonus. Thanks!”

“The food and service were fantastic! However, the reason I will return every time I visit Asheville is not actually food related. The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.”
