“Hands down the best food I've had in the southeast in my 30 years living here. We will absolutely be back!”
“Every single interaction we had at Limones was sincere, intentional, and well executed. We were greeted and given a place to wait in the lobby with an herbal seltzer. Our server Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave eloquent, robust descriptions of the food as well as his recommendations we requested. We shared the lardo pizza - you should too. This is cellophane thin pork fat rendered just so to melt into incredible cheese and oven fired crust. I would go back for more this second. Every part of our meal exuded that impeccable attention to detail. A ravioli type pasta with ham cornbread and peas was the perfect Appalachian/Italian pairing. The tiramisu was thick, custardy, eggy in the lightest but creamiest way. The pistachio gelato with pistachio syrup was incredible. My only wish would’ve been to try one more dessert but we did make a 9:30 reservation so you roll the dice. That panna cotta sounded wonderful. I could not imagine anyone being less than thoroughly impressed with Limones. My husband was a chef for 20+ years and felt every aspect of a great meal was part of our meal there. 10/10 Limones.”
“We were highly impressed with our first visit to Tall John’s! We had the Bravette Steak and Duck, both cooked to perfection! The cocktails were equally unique and tasty! Cool Vibes & yummy food! Oh, and we both have a gluten issue and were accommodated easily! We will be back ❤️”
“Food was absolutely delicious. Cheese plate a vegan cheese lovers dream. Amazing service by Vic! She paid close mind to the nut allergy at our table and was very attentive and kind. Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans alike! Save room for dessert!!!”

“On Saturday, February 14th, I went downtown for a solo dinner at Huli Sue’s and quickly realized I had completely forgotten Billy Strings was in town for the weekend. Between Valentine’s Day and a sold-out show within walking distance, downtown was absolute chaos. Walking into Huli Sue’s, though, felt like stepping into a well-oiled machine. The hostess (I truly wish I had gotten her name) greeted everyone calmly and kept the flow of guests organized and welcoming. They were operating on a reservation system for the evening honestly genius given the circumstances. Even as a party of one, the wait was about an hour and a half, which I completely understood. Knowing I was craving their food, she suggested takeout. She even let me sit at the table where they roll silverware so I could look over the menu and wait for my roommate to text their order and never once made me feel rushed. While I waited, I watched her run the entrance like an absolute goddess. She was pleasant, efficient, and incredibly organized. Every table being notified was already set, down to water poured and ready. When guests arrived, she greeted them with genuine enthusiasm and walked them to their tables like they were honored guests. Downtown was a madhouse. People kept walking in without reservations, and she calmly explained the wait. When guests were understandably discouraged, she let them know they were accepting reservations for the 15th and I honestly didn’t hear a single person turn her down. She made everyone feel welcome. Despite the cold and the madness outside, the restaurant remained calm and peaceful inside. Even at full capacity, the volume stayed comfortable. The kitchen ran like an orchestra no yelling, no chaos, no stressed staff just teamwork and smiles. I wanted to take a moment to praise Huli Sue’s, their staff, and their phenomenal hostess. They handled what could have been an overwhelming night with grace and efficiency. They already had my business —but after that experience, I’ll make it a point to go even more often.”
“My spouse and I ate here tonight and hands down our new favorite spot! Our server was amazing - very personable. We started with Samosas. For our entires we had Chicken Tikka Masala and Mom’s Chicken Curry with two orders of garlic naan bread. Hands down the best food we’ve ever had! If you get the Samosas, I recommend holding onto the two dipping sauces and dip the garlic naan in them! Chefs kiss 🙂 -Bailey and Payton (BP)”
“What a great place to celebrate our birthdays. Two from KY and two from Augusta GA to enjoy celebrating all four of us having birthdays. Stuart who waited on us was EXCELLENT. We asked him about the damage to Asheville and we could hear it in his voice how hurt he was because others suffered so much. He was very gracious that we chose Asheville to celebrate our birthdays. I had the best shrimp and grits ever and I'm 73. Every meal the fried oysters, salads, Reuben Sandwich there is no negative experience. I hesitated to order the banana pudding but was intrigued by the description. So glad I did, it was so different than what I've ever had but the BEST I've ever had. Thank you to everyone working that day on 1/22 that wished us Happy Birthdays and made this such a wonderful memory for all 4 of us. Very welcoming, great personalities but above all GREAT FOOD.”

“Don’t let the little small exterior fool you ! This place comes with a great menu, fabulous food and a wonderfully attentive staff .Love this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😋”
“Had just gotten into town yesterday to do some brewery hopping in Asheville and this was our first stop! Well, we were having so much fun, we spent the day there! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by April and she was so amazing it felt like she was part of our group all day! The beer was delicious with a variety of choices from IPA’s, to Lagers, pilsners, and cider. The decor and charm is so warm and funny. Hours had gone by and I was still seeing little things all over the place that I hadn’t seen yet. I highly recommend Dirty Jacks!!”
“Great place with a great welcoming staff.”
“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our last visit to Jettie’s. We sat at the bar where Mitch was super attentive to our needs. As always, the food was outstanding. The oysters were second to none. The conversation with the staff added to our night of entertainment. We will definitely be returning.”
“An unforgettable, deeply resonant meal at Neng Jr.
Our dinner here last night was exceptional—not just in execution, but in meaning.
As someone who is Filipino, ordering the corned beef was an unexpectedly emotional experience. The flavor was uncannily precise, transporting me straight back to my childhood. It tasted exactly like the corned beef my lolo used to make when he was raising us—humble, soulful, and deeply comforting. In that moment, I could vividly picture him in the kitchen, right down to the green-top salt shaker he always used. It stirred memories I hadn’t touched in years, and I found myself quietly moved at the table. Food rarely does that, and when it does, it’s profound.
Beyond that singular dish, every aspect of the meal was thoughtfully composed. The cooking honors Filipino flavors while elevating them with creativity and restraint—never overwrought, always intentional. Each plate felt personal, rooted, and confident.
The service matched the food: warm, attentive, and genuinely gracious. You feel cared for here, not just served.
Neng Jr. is not simply a restaurant—it’s a place where memory, culture, and craft intersect. An extraordinary dining experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.”
“If visiting in winter, be aware that there are only like 8 indoor seats so you either hope to get lucky or get takeout. The arepa itself (not even talking about the toppings) is outstanding. The portion is generous so one order of arepa is enough for a meal (for me at least). Tasty nonalcoholic drink options.”

“This is one of our favorite spots in Asheville! We highly recommend and they also have an awesome market where you can purchase a yummy Curate Salsa de Aperitivo, spices that you can use to cook with at home, ham sandwiches to go, and so much other delicious flavors from Spain. You guys are awesome! ❤️❤️❤️”

“We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.”

“We were on our way through Asheville and found this little gem after our first choice was closed. Do glad we did. \n\nThey were quite full/busy but they fit us in and were very kind and gracious about it. \n\nThe entire experience was special. About four different staff members checked on us throughout our evening. \n\nTheir knowledge of the menu was incredible, and especially their very extensive wine list. \n\nWe started with their “Darling” bread and butter. Absolutely amazing. I would have been happy with just that. \n\nTheir offerings of different locally grown greens was amazing. \n\nWe had the lamb kebabs and rabbit pasta for our main. Our outstanding sever recommended two incredible wines to pair. \n\nAn incredible experience from start to finish.”

“If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I took my husband here for his birthday dinner last night, & we definitely felt like we had a culinary experience! The drinks we spectacular & affordable. We did the chef tasting for dinner, & the staff made it like telling a story through food. Our server Jesse G was so personable, animated, made great recommendations, & very attentive to us the entire meal. Okay, so just about the food. We are total foodies, especially on a vacation/for a special occasion like this. We loved unqiue, tasty foods, & occasionally enjoy a more fine dining experience. Our meal at Ukiah was that & more! It was served in 10 small plate courses. They spaced each dish, timed them perfectly, & each dish built on the last in such a way that was truly amazing. Just when we thought the last one was our favorite, the next one was as good or better. The vanilla, almond, coconut cake with house ice cream finisher almost wrecked me lol! I could have licked the plate clean, but I was honestly too full to commit that hard. Every staff member that brought us a dish, refilled our drinks, cleared our table, etc were so friendly. Jesse (funny enough, also my husband's name & same spelling) was one of the best waiter's we've had, but also the kind of person you just want to be friends with after you eat & go hang out at the bar or something. It is definitely a higher end restaurant, but for the experience & service, it is well worth the money! We hope to return some day for sure!”

“Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Lovely ambience in the space. It feels like the kitchen really cares about the food it brings out. One thing I particularly liked was how well all the dishes were seasoned. A bit of heat here, a bit of spice there, and a dash of sweet when needed. And speaking of sweet, the lemon curd cheesecake is a wonder. I love it when the cheesecake part of the cheesecake isn't oversweet. The lemon curd gives a sweet and tart compliment to the creaminess of the dairy in the dish. It's dangerous, I tell you! We'll be back for more.”
“My friend and I decide to go to Little D's due to an extremely long wait at another establishment. I'm so glad this is where we ended up! EVERYTHING is top notch- decor, service, cocktails & food! We sat at the bar for immediate seating. There is not one dish we tried that needed anything! Perfectly seasoned and plated with innovative flavors, textures & artistry. Thank you for the amazing experience.”

“This was hands down one of the best breakfast spots we tried during our weekend getaway to Asheville. My boyfriend and I both got a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit which was out of this world!! Reminded us of authentic southern homemade cooking, something hard to come by with many chain or franchise restaurants. Highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try!”
“Recommended by Scott at Weinhaus/Asheville- and we loved it! The entire staff was so gracious and attentive. The moule frites and steak frites were perfectly cooked and predented correctly. We cannot compare this to a better one, because we haven't found better than this. I loved watching the pétanque league play. We'll share our lucky find with our friends; when we move here later this year this place is our top destination.”

“Awesome spot in the heart of downtown Asheville this piano bar is a blast! Some of the most talented piano players, they know pretty much anything you throw at them to play. Go check it out!”
“Never disappoints, always consistent service with amazing food. Our favorite Asheville restaurant.”

“This is by-far the BEST Waffle House I have ever visited. The server, Marq, was so wonderful, and he definitely needs a raise!! The food was excellent, and all the staff were so friendly and kind. The restaurant was clean, and all precautions, per the pandemic, were being taken for the safety of customers and employees. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone desiring a clean, family- friendly dining experience!!!”
“Our server Evie was amazing, great food great atmosphere. Will be back for sure”
“WOW! Very good food and service. We will be back to try other dishes from their menu.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Stopped in while visiting Asheville and it’s such a cool place. Great atmosphere and even greater treats. I had the gluten free chocolate cake and it was fantastic. So let’s text and so rich I had to take my time eating it. My husband got a shaved ice that was like nothing we’d ever had before., so refreshing and fun.”
“I am a foodie/food-snob. I admit it. I am so often disappointed by my restaurant experiences. Last night, my partner and i had one of the best meals in Asheville we can remember. Bold, sensual, well-balanced dishes (somewhere in the neighborhood Charleston's Xiao Bar Biscuit). Off the hook (if a little pricey) wine list.”
“Was so happy we stopped in this time cause we couldn't get in 2020. Service top in class and Jordan was amazing behind the bar. We decided to do the trick tower seafood tower and well worth the money despite other reviews on it. Never thought I would go the the mans and order seafood but it was like we were on the coast. We can not wait to go back and enjoy more of the menu. Great atmosphere and like I said staff was amazing. 🥰”
“As a Miami native, Cuban food is my soul food. I haven't had real, authentic Cuban food since South Florida... until now. Can food comfort your very soul? Yes, yes it can. And I have found it at Guajiro. Thank you, Guajiro, for bringing the tropics to the mountains. ❤️”
“Happy hour: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm M - F
If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.
The happy hour definitely made me want to come back for the full dinner menu! I will 100000% be back.”

“If you are looking for a very chill spot and some tasty simple food, Flour is the spot. Free wifi and quiet in the mornings. A great spot to chat with a friend in peace or get some work done. Sit upstairs and get some people watching in on the streets of downtown.
This is not a true restaurant, but a mini restaurant with only a few items on the menu and no full kitchen. But the biscuits beg to differ -- they are delicious. Crispy and buttery on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and FLAVORFUL. Latte with house made syrup is totally worth it too. And we had a pistachio chocolate chip cookie that was simply delightful -- crisp and salty edges, melty buttery gooey middle.
This is NOT a fun vibe (at least not on a Wednesday morning at 10am). If you're looking for a similar menu but way more vibes, head to Butter Punk.”
“We have lived in Asheville for about 15 years and have been eating Suzy’s food since there was only a food truck. It’s nourishing, delicious, and always filling, not to mention very fairly priced! The ownership and staff are amazing and have always been welcoming to myself and all of my diverse groups of friends and family. We love Gypsy Queen!”
“My wife and I happened upon this magical gem tonight. We had spent the day in Asheville and were actually looking for a Mexican restaurant. My wife saw this and said that we hadn't had BBQ in a good while. So, we changed our plans. We walked in and noticed the awards on the walls and the Pride shirt. Every minute inside was amazing! The front of the house staff were all so friendly. The food was absolutely wonderful! When one of the ladies that works the dining room came to the table, she was warm, sweet, and spunky! We cannot thank you enough for such an amazing experience! We will definitely be returning and bringing our kids next time! 🤟🏻❤️ Thank you Punky Brewster! 😉”
“Absolutely delicious. Got the omelet and the French toast and it was phenomenal”
“My friends and I ate here during our visit to Asheville in August 2024 and I can’t stop thinking about it. It was so good! I cannot wait to have another opportunity to go back”

“Absolutely amazing!! Lindsey was very communicative and answered all of our questions well. She was very easy to talk with and the end result was beautiful. I highly recommend if you want a cake both nice looking and DELICIOUS! We got a small cake and a bunch of different mini desserts and all were delightfully tasty. Could not believe how perfect everything was. Getting the trifles let us get a ton of different flavors as well.”
“Shout out to Will Harris the new general manager of the Edison Restuarant! He and his team had the joy of taking care of my group of 7 crazy and rowdy ladies on 12/10 for our annual Christmas dinner before viewing all the Gingerbread houses! His team did a phenomenal job! Welcome to the Omni, Will!”

“Incredible food, drinks, and views! Definitely make a reservation and catch the sunset. 10/10 experience.”
“We had a wonderful dinner. The server, Tenille, was extremely informative and very attentive. We loved the Kale salad and the Salmon entree was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. And Salmon set up was yummy. We are so happy to discover Posana and we will most definitely be back!”
“I should have taken a photo of my cookies. They were so delicious! I got the Conversation Hearts Pink Sugar Cookie, and it was *EXACTLY* like the pictures in the app! It was perfect! So yummy with a hint of almond flavor. My husband got the Classic Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie and it was great! Clean store, efficient ordering process, polite staff. We will definitely be back!”

“Delicious veg food (including sweets), great helpful staff and cool stickers. Highly recommended!!!”
“This place has a lot of different restaurants to choose from. There are a few points. You wanna know walking into this building, though.
First, the amount of people in here is heavy, so if crowds aren’t your thing come out at off time not a major breakfast lunch or dinner time.
Choose your food wisely. There’s a new place in there that makes the best biscuits in the world called “flour.” it’s probably the best biscuit sandwich that you’ll ever eat in your life, but be prepared to wait 40 minutes to get it.
I highly recommend the sushi and there’s a fried chicken sandwich place in there that doesn’t mean fried chicken sandwich.
Choose your time wisely, but be sure and stop by here for a great meal.”
“Five Points is on point! Bathrooms were nice and clean, staff was polite and attentive, & the food was really tasty, with generous portions! I highly recommend if you’re in the Montfort area of Asheville that you bring your appetite and enjoy a meal here. Will definitely be back for more! 🍽️ 😋”
“I recently went to Asheville and tried several places. Rockys hit it out of the park. I tried Rockys hot and was warned about it before hand. it was hot but just right for me. it is a party in your mouth. so much flavor. just delicious. service was friendly, fast and amazing..top notch and now I'm sad I can't get it in Indiana where I live..”
“Food here is great. You know you are in for a good meal when you see people making the tortillas. Tacos are excellent. I really enjoyed the barilla. Have tried the burrito, tamales and quesadilla. All are good. The atmosphere is more like a diner so nothing fancy. They clearly put their effort on the food and it shows.”

“Amazing food and good people. Asheville needs this place, it’s rooted in fresh flavors and identity. It felt like home. Ambiance is top tier and well curated, visit the bathroom before you go!”
“We have been here many many times we love the food and the nicest people will serve you. What a gift to have this restaurant in our town!”
“Outstanding service by the entire staff. This establishment really makes your experience special in every way. My wife and I make an annual trip to the Biltmore Estate to celebrate our anniversary and dinner at the Inn is always the highlight of our visit.”

“This place is a whole vibe. Beautifully decorated with amazing desserts. It's a little pricey but is well worth it in my opinion. I had the pineapple upside down cake /cheesecake with 24 karat gold...the Golden Girl”
“Go see Dave if you want an incredible meal and experience! We had the best dinner here and I couldn’t be more impressed.”
“First time there, sampled many items from the menu (8 to be exact) everything was fantastic! Great service and atmosphere!”
“We have been eating here for over a decade. Came back for the first time post-Helene, and it was such a welcoming, comforting experience!! I had the special which was INCREDIBLE. We brought a Vegetarian Platter home and had it later for dinner- delicious.”
“December 30th, 2025: We had the most nice experience, and it was all thanks to our server! A group of 7 of us went out for very late lunch lunch, but it became dinner, and experience is above, and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. The staff was so kind, respectful, and attentive, checking on us frequently and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic—but what truly made the evening unforgettable was staff. The place brought such positive energy and made our entire group feel so well cared for. If I could rate 4+ stars, I would. We had 2 Cuban Sandwiches, comes with chips, we also shared a Mac&Cheese between my wife, and me; Our two daughters shared 1 pot roast, a brisket with mac&cheese; our grand son had the ribeye steak, my son in law had a steak sandwich, my granddaughter had chicken tenders with french fries! We shared a dessert, and got one to go! In general—it made our late lunch truly unforgettable. The Brackett - Barrios Families GBB”
“The bartender was friendly and warm. All the mix drinks were delicious and perfectly made.”
“My wife and I have made it a holiday tradition to dine at The Original Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian every time we visit Asheville. If you’re looking for a meal that feels genuinely authentic and welcoming, this is the one spot you absolutely have to visit.\n\nThe Food We started with the house-made fried mozzarella sticks, and I’m not exaggerating when I say they are by far the best I’ve ever had. For the main course, I had the sausage, peppers, and onions, while my wife went with the twice-baked lasagna. Both dishes were delicious, high-quality, and more than enough to satisfy a hearty appetite.\n\nThe Service We did have a small hiccup getting a table when we first arrived, but the manager was excellent. Once the issue was brought to their attention, they stepped in immediately to make sure we were seated and taken care of quickly.\n\nOne Quick Tip The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the parking. It’s notoriously difficult to find a spot nearby, and since they do not take reservations, you’ll want to arrive well ahead of time to account for the hunt for a parking space and the likely wait for a table.\n\nIt’s a local favorite for a reason—totally worth the extra effort!”
“I love everything about Nine Mile and I’ll die on that hill. They are amazing, professional and super kind people. The food- always amazing. The beer- so so good! The salad dressings the hot sauce! So good!”
“We had the California Club and the Italian hoagies. They were absolutely amazing. I highly advise them both and leave everything on it. I usually change things or leave off some but I didn’t and I loved ot as my wife did too.”
“We dined over the weekend with friends from out of town. Our server did a great job despite the place being very busy. The Arancini was exceptional. Our favorite place in Asheville.”
“We went yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing — everything was fresh and beautifully presented. We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and I was hoping they might offer a small detail or gesture like they did for the people next to us who were celebrating a birthday, but that didn’t happen.
Even so, I definitely recommend this place.”
“One of my favorite breweries! The beer is wonderful, love the atmosphere! Especially love the West location so I can bring my dogs :) And the owners are wonderful people! 10/10 would recommend”
“Highly recommend! Big fan of the outdoor seating!! Awesome vibes, the new manager Nicole is the Bees Knees”
“Perfect low key spot for delicious seafood.
Oysters were gone before pics. Fried catfish po'boy, gumbo, and grilled trout over asparagus are phenomenal.
Perfectly mixed cocktails and some pretty good beer.
Prices are fair, portions are generous, and staff is attentive.”
“We had absolutely wonderful service & delicious cocktails during our visit in Asheville. Meticulously crafted cocktails by a very knowledgeable mixologist (can’t remember his name). We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.”
“If you haven't been to Gauchinho Brazilian Steakhouse, you are seriously missing out. We had brunch there this afternoon, and everything was so delicious 😋. From the wide assortment of items at the hot-cold bar to all of the perfectly cooked and delicious variety of different meats (picanha, bacon wrapped filet, parmesan pork, pork ribs, bacon wrapped chicken, grilled pineapple, etc.), we thoroughly enjoyed everything and can't wait to dine there again ❤️. They also offer a wide assortment of amazing desserts. We've dined at both Brazilian steakhouses in Asheville and prefer Gauchinho's on every level (food, atmosphere, service, location). Highly, highly recommend this fine dining establishment.”
“It was super busy during the winter holidays but service was still on point. Holly and Ty were great! Food tasted great. The noise level was elevated but you could still have a conversation.”
“The food was served at perfect temperatures. The hostess was very personable. The Bargello old fashion was amazing. I felt like the table was a unattended for longer than average times but other than that it was a great meal and a great night trying out out Bargello.”
“As everyone knows This place is awesome. Had the burger night for the first time, and it was solid. Always impressed by the can art and over feel of the spaces they create. Get off the couch and come here.”
“Absolutely perfect! Ben was the best server and was so easy to talk to! the food was incredible and the drinks were delicious. loved the atmosphere. V chill! would Definitely return on our next visit. thanks for making my husband's birthday so great! 👏 Bravo”
“Fantastic!! Waiter was Cassidy he was very nice and welcoming with great knowledge of the menu, this was our first time there and was so relieved to find a great noodle stop as we have tried others and were highly disappointed but not here. We got the dynamite shrimp , so creamy and just a hint of heat, we got the kids ramen so next extra stuff just the noodles and broth and those had great flavor they approved!! I got the deluxe ramen with the black garlic oil and pork belly so bold and smooth, and we got the spicy ramen which had a great heat level and my husband loved. Over all great food worth the price which wasn’t super high , nice environment with great music choice would highly recommend!!!! Thanks again Cassidy”
“There was a wonderful variety of items to choose from, it was difficult to decide. We would have gotten the jalapeño fries and cauliflower tacos but their main frier wasn’t working so we got the chorizo tacos, coconut curry and sweet potato Ruben which came with crispy homemade fries (they have a small frier that was working). We don’t enjoy vegan cheese that is made using Science so we opted for the cashew queso which was absolutely delicious. The tacos were our favorite item. The texture and taste were a solid 10 out of ten. Which made me miss trying the cauliflower tacos even more. The Ruben was our 2nd favorite. I usually have tempeh meat on a Ruben so I couldn’t imagine how they could make sweet potato taste “meaty” but they did. It was so delicious, I will be looking up how to make that “sweet potato meat” at home. The Thai Panang Curry was the only disappointment. It was fresh tasting and the tofu was fried to crispy perfection. It just needed more sauce. I got the Blackberry Ginger Mint mocktail. It was just the right amount of sour and was a beautiful presentation. Our only regret was not leaving room for dessert. If we lived in Asheville we would be regulars at this establishment. Our server was also Excellent! She was attentive without being intrusive. She pre-bussed the table and refilled our water glasses and asked if we needed another round and brought us our food perfectly timed! We went back the next day and had the Tostada Enchilada salad (it’s the choriso taco grown up), the Supreme pizza with no cheese (nice crispy crust and a good amount of sauce), the Amaretto Cherry Cheesecake (absolutely worth going back just for that!) the peanut butter cookie (the only disappointment) and the Lime Aid (perfecly balanced and not too sweet). But I preferred the one yesterday. Another wonderful server. Love this place! Updated from previous review on 2025-03-02”

“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa”
“Eat here about 3 times a week! A not so hidden gem in downtown Asheville that has an awesome story and amazing food and brews! If you are interested in the brewing industry, White Labs is a must see/must visit! They also have free parking! I hear their HR person is pretty awesome too 😜.”
“Great beer selection and I really like how the Whale logo is incorporated into the space and merchandise.”

“Our new favorite place to get ready made meals. Recently took my kids (11&6) who are picky eaters and they loved the food. Great atmosphere and excellent service! I enjoyed talking to Andy and Jacob who are very personable and knowledgeable.”
“Strada Italiano really impressed me. It has an inviting, upscale vibe that’s perfect for a night out. The vegan food was delicious—creative, flavorful, and satisfying. The ravioli especially was so good, easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Their drink menu is excellent too, with options that pair perfectly with the meal. Highly recommend for a night out with amazing food and a cozy atmosphere!”
“Ate here last night and it was phenomenal. We had Scallion pancakes, chicken dumplings, Chicken Lo Mein, shanghai style pork dumplings, chicken wings and bbq pork buns and everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. This is my favorite meal I have eaten in years. I literally cannot wait to come back!”
“After a disappointing welcome drink at the Moxy, we decided to come up to the rooftop bar and get a real drink. After viewing the menu we decided on getting a Scarlett sour and a robota grill mushrooms off the small place choices and it was fantastic. It was very culinary and delicious. Our drink was also tasty and filled with enough booze to experience the drink. We were happy and glad it was great. Def recommend and it’s a nice view of the blue ridge mountains in the distance. I’m sure sunset is great, but our kids wanted pizza.”
“My husband and I both ordered the Veal Marsala and it was delicious. Christine our waitress was super friendly and very attentive.”

“A stop at Walls Wine Bar while in downtown Asheville is a must! You can enjoy a taste, a glass or a bottle of some exceptional international wines. Walk through the gallery to take in the amazing photography of Benjamin Walls on safari or step outside and relax in the open air patio while people watching. While you are there, learn about once in a lifetime travel opportunities; the stuff dreams are made of!”
“Love dobra tea. Vibe is so nice in downtown and WAvl. I haven’t been to EAvl location. Food selection great for vegetarians. Amazing tea selection. Great place to just bring a book or some work reading and focus.”
“Really chill, fun bar. You can always meet some great people here. They also have pool tables and weekly events like Drag Kareoke. Awesome vibes and the Bartenders are top notch.”
“Absolutely loved this place. Highly recommend going there. Michael, our server, went above and beyond his duty at every step of our experience. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely be going back!”
“I have celiac and a dairy allergy. They accommodated both. Thankful. Scrambled eggs have milk mixed in so I had eggs over easy. Gluten free toast is toasted in shared toaster so forego if Celiac. Fruit was plentiful and fresh.”
“The stable is really cool inside. The menu doesn't have a lot of flexibility if you have any dietary restrictions but it does indicate options if you do. Wound up doing a flight and fries. Also the health rating was 92.5 - a bit concerning, especially on the Biltmore property.”
“Wonderful meal! We had reservations for 6:15. Arrived at 6:00 and were immediately seated. Our waiter, Tom was exceptional. My wife ordered the special surf and turf and I had the Tavern Fish and Chips. Both meals were delicious!! Ordered a cocktail with dinner and it was a generous pour, which I like. I would go back to Cedric's Tavern in a heart beat!”
“We celebrated our anniversary at the Biltmore and choose to dine at the Bistro. The ambience was perfect as were the staff and service . Ron was out server and was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us with our choices for our special meal . The food is locally sourced and many options are sourced from the estate . I found this to be amazing and make the meal that much better . The food was so fresh and delicious. Our evening was amazing and Ron certainly contributed to our special night as he was incredibly personable , knowledgeable and provided excellent service .Ron greeted us at our table with a glass of champagne for each of us . I was curious about a wine , The Luminere red and Rons description was spot on . Kudos to Ron and the staff at the Bistro . The only issue we had was what to choose as everything was so delicious and so many perfect options available . I had the PEI mussels , market fish and a loaf of bread . My wife had the French onion soup , Caesar salad and filet . The flavors were remarkable as you can taste the freshness , it truly makes a difference . You could cut the filet without a knife it was so tender. I highly recommend dining at the Bistro and we will certainly return .”

“What an awesome early dinner! We had drinks, which I could have drank so many of them! We had the 6 pc wings and no doubt the best wings I've ever had. Then the real prize...my boneless ribeye! Melt in your mouth delicious!! My date had the 6pcs. Of fried oysters with fries and slaw, everything was so wonderful and our service was on point!”
“It's Tuesday and just has one of the most delicious meals, of my life.. Burrito Verde and a tamale.. Awesome-ness... This restaurant exceeds all my expectations. I am a 67 year old male, who has been around the block a time or two, and loves my Mexican food.. It's a must have food experience.. 0ur Party of 5 just celebrated a birthday here, and absolutely loved our meals.. 5 STAR all the way”
“Server was an older woman who was down right rude. She brought our food and I reminded her of my biscuit. She snapped at me that I hadn't ordered one- even though we had had a discussion about flavor of jelly- to which she replied "whatever". As she marched away I said to my daughter that I guess she didn't want her tip. She did bring the biscuit and did try to be overly nice, which felt very insincere., almost sarcastic. She had ruined our little celebration brunch with her absolutely awful attitude. I used to love this place.”
“I requested a 2 night stay in my Harvest Host / Boondockers app. I got a quick approval in mins. The brewery was easy to get to, had lots of parking & there was a small local band playing when I arrived. Sky was my very friendly bartender. I asked for a beer suggestion than was on the lighter side. He suggested the Cowboy Poet. He was spot on. I also ordered food from the pizza place. Was really delicious. I got to see Sky on my second night also. I would definitely revisit. The information & description of what to expect were exact. Thank you for sharing your business with the camping community.”
“Visit on holiday package. Breakfast was fabulous well plated and delicious. Thanksgiving dinner was plated in an unappetizing manner with food smashed up in domes next to each other with cranberry sauce ( not good for diabetic)poured on top of everything. everything was lukewarm and gravy had no flavor. I requested a new plate and received 2 plates with everything in separate bowls still lukewarm. Felt like a snub from the Chef for commenting on plating. Lady next to us had a beautifully plated steak. If you can't do a well plated turkey dinner don't offer it as an option.”
“I like eating here. The service is very good and the food is plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere is friendly, and I have yet to wait for a table because there are so many. This restaurant is quiet but with music. There is full service bar that is very nice. A good place to meet a friend for drink where you can talk.”
“I am one of the organizers for a monthly network gathering group. We chose to go to DSSOLVR and VOWL for our event this month. We had approximately 200 folks there this past Tuesday (January 14, 2024). The staff nailed it at both bars. Serving 200 people at one time can be a challenge... the staff did not disappoint. It was an extremely welcoming evening from the start to the finish. The owners and management were awesome to work with and delivered everything that they promised and more. They provided a DJ for us (DJ Abu Dissarray), which made the evening even that much more fun. Many of the event-goers had not been to either of these bars, but I heard from many folks that they planned on going back due to the friendliness of the staff and the treatment that we received. A big THANK YOU to both DSSOLVR and VOWL. Your new friends at TakeOverTuesday (instagram: TakeOverTuesdaysAVL)”

“My girl & I went to Hemingway’s Cuba in Asheville last night, for a special date night. We had reservations for 7:00pm. You won’t believe the beautiful, scenic outdoor rooftop. We were sat right at the edge where we could see all of downtown, the mountains, all the people walking below and the beautiful sunset. It was breathtaking. My girl had the coconut shrimp, I had the angus cheeseburger. The food was fantastic. I highly recommended this place for a romantic date.”
“My girlfriend and I were in town to celebrate our one year. We decided to try out Tupelo Honey. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was amazing. It has a great atmosphere with an outdoor seating option with a view of downtown. If you’re ever in Asheville I HIGHLY recommend you giving Tupelo Honey a chance!”

“We were a party of 8...in the summer...around lunchtime...so it was crowded but we were seated quickly..had biscuits right away and our food came out quickly...portions were huge..(.I think the meatloaf slice was a pound of beef by itself.)..Staff were courteous and helpful with our wheelchair and walkers.food was reasonably priced... our only "negative" comment would be that some desserts ran out :( but everything else was great!”

“All-around 10/10 experience! The service was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. Our group ordered a bit of everything - apps, a mocktail, wine, tea, and dessert - and every single thing was phenomenal. The vibes were perfect, the sound immaculate, and the mid-century aesthetic spot on. Easily my new favorite spot!”
“I stopped by Hail Mary in West Asheville, in the old Tastee Diner spot, during that awkward mid day gap between lunch and dinner when I was absolutely starving. I noticed they had PB&J Brussels sprouts on the menu and knew I had to try them. They did not disappoint. Such a fun and unexpected flavor combination, and it somehow worked perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try something a little different.
I’ve also had a lot of burgers around Asheville, and the Popper Burg here was outstanding. It was a hefty amount of beef grilled to perfection, and the bun stayed out of the way instead of overwhelming the burger. Considering the quality and portion compared with the price, I’d say it easily ranks among my favorite burgers in Asheville.
I also had a chance to meet the owner, Kelly, in person for the first time and I could immediately tell how much passion she puts into the restaurant. The whole place is dripping with Y2K personality, which paired perfectly with the friendly staff and overall vibe.
If you’re visiting Asheville, I wouldn’t miss this one even though it’s not downtown. I think this might even become my go-to late night spot now that Barrel House closed last year.
A huge thanks to everyone for the amazing food and experience. I’ll be back very soon!”

“Delicious high quality food presented by super owners. Everything can be made vegan. Loved it!”
“The Low Down in West Asheville is absolutely amazing! It’s tucked just off Haywood next to The Hop you have to go downstairs to get to it, and the space is gorgeous. Everything here feels thoughtfully designed, from the decor to the lighting sconces, bar, booths, and wall art it’s unlike anywhere else. I wish I had taken pictures because it’s truly stunning.
The drinks are hand-crafted and top-notch, with some ingredients made in-house. Even the glassware is beautiful. There’s a fun game I’d never seen before they called it shuffleboard but not like my great grandads shuffle board, it was unique and the people playing it had a good time, and it adds to the vibe.
I went alone and sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly, attentive, and fun to chat with even while busy. The overall vibe is a perfect mix of a warm, welcoming neighborhood bar with a classy, art-deco, decadent feel. Prices are fair, and the attention to detail is incredible. I’ve gone back twice, and each time it’s just as cozy, sophisticated, and enjoyable. I love this place!”
“Hilltop Ice Cream in Woodfin is legit. The folks here are awesome and super friendly and always down to help you find the best flavor. Now, if you haven’t tried the goat milk cherry ice cream, you’re missing out. It’s crazy creamy, just the right amount of tart, and straight-up delicious.”
“I adore this place to the bone. I’ve never had a bad experience here and it shows the moment you walk in. It’s a gorgeous store that supports artists with their things for sale. The owner and every barista are amazing people who offer to fix anything if you need it. Great for studying/drawing/reading. I don’t think I could go anywhere else!”
“Great set up. Wine and Roses is the brain child of the Zelda Dearest Hotel. It has a great patio setting where you can bring your own charcuterie or other foods and you purchase wine from the bar. You don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy the setting. The patio is large with nice table/chair setups as well as small conversation couches and chairs. Soft music was playing in the background adding to the ambiance. We were there in early April and as it started to get chilly we packed up the snacks and headed inside to finish our wine. That's where we met Jake, an employee of the hotel who took time to not only chat with us but also provided great information on various places to experience during our stay. The bar area is art deco style with beautiful period pieces. If you are staying in Asheville please take the time to visit Wine and Roses. The wine is really good and the bartender is very helpful in choosing what you like. I look forward to visiting again!”
