“We had such a great time getting dinner here! Our waiter was so helpful and the service was great. I'm pregnant so I was thrilled to see so many NA drink options! To eat, we ordered goat cheese stuffed peppers, eggplant, chip wrapped chorizo, shrimp and octopus. Everything was amazing but the peppers and eggplant were some of the best food we'd ever had. We can't wait to come back!”

“I recently visited the plant for dinner and wow what an experience! Everything we ordered from the menu was fantastic. The mushroom ravioli was exceptional, definitely coming back for more. “Visited this amazing place for the first time tonight and it was amazing. I’ve been a baker for almost 20 years and I’ve never tasted a banana pudding like this before. The custard like pudding with the hint of cinnamon, made my tongue do a happy dance. I’ll definitely recommend this place to all my foodies. Thanks for such a great experience!”
“Absolutely worth all the rave reviews. I'm a bit of a diva, and the wait was totally worth it, too. Had the Bhel puri as an appy and the Paneer Tikka Roll for the entrée and they were perfection.”

“Red Ginger is my favorite place to eat anywhere! Their Szechuan Wontons are out of this world! I've eaten here dozens of times and every time I leave happy. They put so much effort into the flavor profiles and plating of every dish. Their beautiful dining room to relax while eating a delicious meal and the service is always great.”
Recommended Restaurants
“The service was very good and so was the atmosphere. The food was tasty; however, they use too much oil for our liking. One person in our party ordered the shrimp, and the bottom of the bowl was a puddle of oil. That, in itself, was very off-putting. Sorry, but cannot give Mehfil a 5.”
“Fantastic little bar. People and dog friendly, even soccer fan friendly! Two dartboards good beer and friendly service. A little oasis of local charm in among the big breweries!”
“My band played here several times and this place never fails to please. Friends and family love to come here when we play because the atmosphere and food are excellent.”

I can’t speak highly enough about how delicious each entree was. The staff was so friendly and I can’t wait to come back to Asheville just for this restaurant!”
“What a great sports bar experience! Tasty food, great service and huge portions. Don't miss the deep fried pickles, the brisket Mac n cheese or the apple crisp dessert with ice cream.”
Restaurants with Delivery
“We were greeted warmly at the door, and our server was extremely gracious and provided wine samples to help us choose the right bottle. The raw oysters were fresh and bright, the Big Bowl of Greens was a terrific salad to share. The NC Trout and Pork Schnitzel entrees were flawless. We shared a Black Forest Cake for dessert. In summary, it was a perfect dining experience.”

“Finally found the Boba Fruit Milk Tea with poppers I have been wanting! 4 years ago tried Milk Fruit Boba tea on vacation but never found another place that made it similar around home. Just discovered this the other day! Staff were super helpful and answered all my questions. Mango milk boba tea was amazing. I would like to throw it out there and suggest for mango and strawberry flavors it would be cool if you could get tiny pieces of the fruit chopped up and mixed in with the poppers or boba. I can't wait to go back and try the pastries! Had a large beautiful selection of many tasty goodies. Definitely going to be a repeat customer for the milk boba tea. Conveniently located very close to the parking garage at 40 Coxe.”

“Took our team to dinner & had a great time and service. James was fabulous and helped all 10 of us with patience and great recommendations. Love the ambiance - lively but not too loud.”
“At Jettie Rae's Oyster House in Asheville, folks, I embarked on a seafood escapade that rocked my taste buds to the core! Picture this: Mussels so sublime, they practically waltzed onto my palate, and the branzino – oh, that branzino – a flavor fiesta that had me questioning if I'd stumbled upon seafood nirvana! ?? And let me tell you, if you're thinking of hitting this place, make reservations because it's a flavor party that gets packed faster than you can say "delicious!" Lol Massive shoutout to the stellar service and a staff so friendly, they're practically your seafood soulmates! ???”

We went last night and I totally forgot to take pictures but I remembered I had some from my last visit about a month ago that I’ll post here.We love pretty much everything they cook and they are super nice people. “Our server Rachel was the whole experience. Chef was accommodating with our requests. When restaurant fill-up and by that I mean 9 tables, the noise level was higher. All in all great experience.”

“A west Asheville treasure! The sweet potato cauliflower soup was smooth as silk and full of flavor! The confit mushrooms were outstanding and locally sourced! The trout was perfect! I highly recommend trying Jargon.”
“My delightful visit to The Lobster Trap in October 2014 left me with a taste of the ocean and a dash of excitement. As a devoted seafood enthusiast, I was eager to sample their offerings. Here’s my refreshed take:Food: The dishes were an absolute feast for the senses. From succulent lobster to perfectly prepared clams, each bite transported me to coastal bliss.Beer Selection: While the beer selection didn’t quite match the excellence of the seafood, it was like a refreshing sea breeze on a warm day. Perhaps an expanded variety would elevate the overall experience even further.Pricing: Yes, the bill left me raising an eyebrow, but let’s focus on the positives. The quality of the food justified some of the cost, and the ambiance made it a memorable evening. In summary, my experience at The Lobster Trap was a harmonious blend of delight and anticipation. If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is a must-visit. Just be prepared to savor every moment—and maybe splurge a little.”
“I really wish that I could give Tall John's more than 5 stars because it's perfect. The menu is American classics done with skill and attention to detail. We've been twice in one week and every single dish is delicious. The tartare comes with crackers that have been lovingly fried and aren't the least big greasy as well as a whole pile of fresh soft herbs and the pan sauce from the roast chicken is good enough to drink. We are extremely particular about cocktails and these have clearly been meticulously fine tuned. They come ice cold in chilled glasses and it is deeply satisfying. I think you can always tell when staff like working at a restaurant and the staff seems relaxed and happy. Service is just as good as the food. I described a salad I'd seen someone eating on a previous visit to our server and he said he was pretty sure it was the "very good green salad." After he brought it and I'd had some he said "is that the salad you dreamed of?" We wish service would be like this everywhere and all these details will keep us coming back again and again.”
“The Amuse-bouche was a pleasant surprise. It was delicious! I loved the banderilla (beef skewers dish) and the pecan crusted trout was good. The chef was accommodating to our dietary restrictions and the staff were very friendly.”
“I went there for the Party Foul Drag Show. And let me tell you, I had a blast! I had never been to a show before so I had no idea what to expect. I figured that I spent $10 on my ticket, so if I didn’t like it I didn’t waste a lot of money. It was well worth the $10 I spent on the ticket. The Queens were so entertaining. My favorites of the night were Miss No Vagina and Miss Calcutta. Miss Ida Carolina was co-host for the evening and she was really entertaining as well. She asked if we were celebrating any birthdays, anniversaries, etc. 3 of us were celebrating our birthdays. Miss Ida Carolina asked the audience to say something to each of us. One was “Happy Lobotomy” Another was “Happy Vasectomy” And for me they said “Happy Honda Days”Bottom line is if you’re looking for something entertaining and cheap to do while in Asheville on a Saturday night, I highly recommend checking out the drag show at The Odd. Take an open mind and $1 bills for the performers.”
“First and foremost, what a great location. Tucked away on wall st, it’s cute and tucked away. Matthew was our server today and he knocked it out of the park! Came in celebrating our anniversary and we were delighted to be welcomed in with a fresh glass of champagne.Did the family style serving at $75/pp, thought it was well worth it. You get every antipasto, a choice of pasta and a meat entry. The herb salad blew me away. Pasta was covered in a delicious blanket of Parmesan cheese and shaved black truffle. It was devine. We were too full for desert but they packaged it up for us and gave it to go. I have to give emphasis to how incredible Matthew was, he was attentive, kind and understands hospitality to its fullest. Will most certainly be visiting on my next trip back to Asheville”
“The food was excellent, service was quick and professional. Anil was spot on with recommendations and anticipated our needs perfectly. Despite being busy, food came out very quickly and everything was delicious.Vegetarian options: Very many vegetarian and vegan options. I had the chickpea saag and it was amazing and very filling.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are clearly labeled and there were quite a few to choose from.”
“We had the most delightful experience here. We got to enjoy the most delicious food in an inviting fresh environment. Our server, Jesse, was very knowledgeable and warm; added to the experience. We would highly recommend visiting here and we would definitely come back.”
“My world is microbreweries. This one offers a true tour of their facility and the process. They have a slew of their brews on tap. Every day they host a food truck. Plenty of parking, a rarity in Asheville. Otherwise there's nothing here to make it stand out as a must stop.”
“Our waiter was Cory and Lee was his assistant. The service was exceptional. The views were amazing. My husband had the pork chop and I had the filet. We had crab cake and scallops for appetizers. The vanilla honey creme brulee was wonderful. Everything was perfect. Will dine here again.”
“Asheville, if you don’t know, now you know! Forestry Camp has the fire beer and food, you need to make a beeline to this spot and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.”
“Ryan J was our waiter on the afternoon of 2/21/24. He took very good care of us along with our two dogs outside. His attention to detail and pleasant attitude is why we keep coming back. The dogs had (burger that they split) my wife and I had the Norwegian halibut with lobster sauce and kale. This place is hands down the best restaurant in NC.”
“Overall a wonderful evening sampling Posana. There’s so much temptation here, from the starters to main course to dessert. It left us wanting to come back and try more. For starters we’d highly recommend the Brussels sprouts. For a main course, the trout was amazing. And for dessert, the lemon tart outstanding. The menu is so varied, that we may very well stick to starters and sides next time, and skip the main course - though I think we’d miss the trout. As they say, so many good choices and not enough time. We’ll certainly be back!”

24 Hour Restaurants
“Home away from home. There is nothing like a familiar restaurant to make me feel like I'm not alone. The price increase was noticeable. But that's inflation at its best.”
“Employees were really friendly and the cook was great! The food came out perfect for a Waffle House. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves. It was a very pleasant experience.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved watching the cook make the food in front of us. The food is definitely kid-friendly.”
“This particular location I usually go to currently has three specific people who are the reason I keep coming back. I know if see Rebecca and/or Royce and/or Zach working, it's going to be worth my while and every dollar I spend. They're literally such rockstars every time I pull up, and no matter the kind of day I've had I know it'll be even better after I see them.Vegetarian options: If you're an "ovo-lacto" vegetarian who's not pious about what's "healthy" or concerned about cross contamination with animal fats, you should be fine here. Just don't forget to tell the server no meat, and they'll understand.Parking: Ample handicap parking, directly next to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are a bigger challenge than I care to see for wheelchair users to enter the building, but I'm optimistic that the staff would be happy to help anybody who actually struggled with the doors anyway for any reason. I'm currently able-bodied so I wouldn't really know.”
“First time eating at this store. Their wait staff were so nice. The waiter and cook seemed to work well together. I felt like the waiter took a little more time than most in making sure we had everything. That we were happy. And i didn't feel rushed at all. I wish they all had help as well as they have at this store. Will definitely be back.”
“This McDonald's on Leicester highway is always and has always been the best one it is the most comfortable the service is the best of who's the best the location is wonderful I love this place like it's homeVegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options but they are there is the I can't really complain too much being is it's a fast food restaurant in it is supposed to be really cheap as it used to have a dollar menu but it's borderline expensive nowParking: You could never run out of parking in this location there's several places sharing a huge lot and there's no way they can all fit in McDonald's if everyone did Park in every space is privacy to hang with your friends or family or whatever you want to do in that parking lot if you wantKid-friendliness: My kid brother loves this McDonald's in they're always really kind to himWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is easily wheelchair accessible in every entrance”
“This place is the best to go to , they are very quick, and very respectful, love the environment, and great employees, and they are always open early and have my food fresh.”
“Place stays busy. Service is good never had any problems. Food was hot when I got it. Always had a good experience with cashier an others when I was there. I would go back and eat again.”

“Everytime I think of this place, I want to go back for more. It's a little busy sometimes, but never unreasonably and the staff has always been friendly. Obviously because the food is so delicious everyone keeps coming back. Their chicken sandwiches are top tier and I'm especially addicted to their sauces!”
“OMG!! Hands down this place was soooo good. I ate last night after a concert at The Orange Peel. Got there at about 11:45pm and was not disappointed at all. The food was fantastic! I had the BBQ sliders and shared the piled high fries and pimento cheese dish with my husband. I would recommend to anyone out late looking for good food late. Next time I come back I will be back for more. Our service was great as well.”
Takeout Restaurants
“We had a nice afternoon on the patio for St. Patrick's day! The on tap beers and cider we tried were really flavorful, and the food trucks on site were easy to order from (and delicious). Great space for getting together with friends and listening to live music.”
“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!”
“I'm biased cause I have family who work for this rest group, but this place is amazing. Sooo happy I can now get my okra fries fix without going downtown. The desi salad is fabulous, too.”
“Pizza Mind is a fantastic neighborhood pizza place! We loved the crust, sauce and cheese blend, and the toppings were really high quality. There was a large selection of beers & ciders, and the decor is super fun. If you're in Ashville, you can't go wrong with this place!”

“This afternoon my husband and I enjoyed the most delicious pizza we have had in Asheville! Today at New Belgium brewery we had a half pepperoni/hot honey and the other half red onions and mushrooms. The crust was thin and perfect to both our tastes. Thank you Tin Can pizzeria!”

“Great beers and amazing food options for everyone. I enjoyed the house salad, the dressings were well made and had great flavor. All of the accoutrements were fresh tasting and plentiful. Friendly beer tenders on hand to help you discover a wide range of house made beers.”
“Interesting little spot in West Asheville. Smash burgers and fires were hot of the grill and very filling.Josh was both bartender and waiter but was very attentive.Parking: The parking lot is small, so we can see having to find a spot up the street and walk down.”

Hash browns a good mix of crispy and creamy. Fantastic biscuits - very fresh. We will be back.”
“This place was nothing short of amazing!! Blake was a gracious host, and there was a young lady, blonde hair with bangs, and her hair was pulled in a bun. She was delightful and made us feel welcomed, along with the amazing service. SHOUT OUT TO THE CEF AND KITCHEN STAFF. The food was impeccable. When you eat here, you will understand that the chef respects food. And my tastebuds danced allllll night just thinking of those tacos. “Ever have been let down, always great food and service from the time you call in or go to eat at the restaurant service is attentive and delivery right on time every time. Have used them for many years and they have never let me down. Don't know what I would do without their help with making my meetings extra special with delicious food. “Great smoothies and juices, and superb service. My son has a number of allergies and intolerances and they made him a customized smoothie and washed the machines well to avoid cross contamination. Will come back to this location when in the area.”
“Definitely worth going to in Asheville. Also owned by the same company who runs Mamacita’s downtown which we love!I always get an al pastor torta. Try the fish taco. It’s so good! Their guac is always on point. Fun place to go.Parking: They have very limited parking in front but options in the back and along the side of the building We never find an open spot when we’ve gone for dinner. We’ve always had to find street parking but it’s a short walk by the time you find a spot.”
“WOW...YUM!! What more can be said... 1st time in a few weeks ago. Pizza was delicious! The sauce should be bottled and sold for the "out of towners" ... But, then how would I re-create that wonderful crusty goodness?? I'm usually left wondering how others actually look forward to pizza. Thank you Fahrenheit for showing me the way!! I can now only dream, and look forward to, my next visit. ??”
“The lady was awesome that helped us!! The sauce on the hibachi had great flavor and portions were good also. Steak was cooked perfectly! We got a fried shrimp appetizer (cannot remember the name) but similar to bang bang shrimp..10/10 awesome!!! We will be back when visiting chimney rock.”
“Everytime we eat here it's so fresh and delicious! The staff is always so nice also!We have 6 in our family so it's a good quality for the quantity also. Price reasonable!”
“It's fine! It was described as the best ice cream in the area, and that's probably true, but it's mostly vanilla soft serve in various concoctions. Maybe I just didn't know what to get but I wasn't crazy impressed.”
“Great pulled pork and sides. I haven't had anything bad on the menu. BBQ pork is not fatty or greasy. Great tasting sauce.Very clean and organized establishment. Friendly staff. Little pricier choice for fast on the go foods but top quality product. I eat here every time I can.”

“Wow, Hi-Wire Big Top knows how to throw an event. I stopped by with a friend for A Court of Thorns and Roses themed event and I was blown away. They used their event space, which was my first time in that space. It was huge, well decorated, had it's own bar as well as a DJ for the event. The turnout was huge and the costumes were immaculate. While we were there we noticed posters for a wrestling event they were hosting the next day, so we decided to check that out as well. Another A+++ event. It was the first time I heard about the wrestling event but I was told it happens monthly. It was extremely entertaining, hilarious, and the crowd was so into it. I highly recommend checking it out. There's a food truck on site with burgers, so come hungry. I'll be keeping my eye on the event calendar for future unique events.”
“Great place with eating upstairs and a good place for drinks downstairs (although you can order from the menu downstairs). Had a good burger here with very good locally raised beef. If you're familiar with Wicked Weed beer then you won't be dissapointed, excellent selection and stuff you can't find in stores. Atmoaphere is really cool with a nice vibe. Great place to go.”

“I had a vegan bagel and lox (made of carrot), which was delicious. My husband had a vegan sausage biscuit. They are located in West AVL, free parking and dog friendly.”
Fine Dining
“The view was beautiful and it was sunset. The ambience was very warm and everyone was attentive but not intrusive. Our waiter Ben was exceptional and took excellent care of our table. The food was heavenly, we had the Sea Bass and the Lobster Pasta. Everything was excellent!”
“We were there to celebrate a birthday...all was great except it would have been nice if they would have offered a cupcake with a candle or something to make the night even more special.”
“The grilled cheesed sandwich is huge and is delicious! It comes with a cup of tomato soup and fries. If you are there at lunchtime, you can also order from the Sunset Grill menu, but I like the bar menu better!”
“Wow. The Filet was delicious, so much flavor. From the starter to the main course, we were both impressed. Plates were literally cleaned so we didn’t have room for dessert. Next time!! The staff was very kind and friendly. That something you remember.”
“Chicken salad pita tasty. Garden salad sufficient. Line service queue quick. Plus $3.25 water bottle. Diet coke fountain. Portions could have been more for the price, had to satiate hunger elsewhere afterwards. Maybe that’s their grand plan.”
“John F has single handedly saved my first experience at the GPI. My 2 kids and I have traveled across country from Wisconsin to Chapel Hill after packing up my childhood home for a month after my parents passed away. I was exhausted after a 9 hour drive to Asheville and decided to book a room here as a special treat. When we arrived it rained and despite accepting the pouring rain we didn't get any sympathy or help except for John who listened to me rant and bought me a glass of wine. Bottom Line - Thank You John”
“Pretzel bites were addictive. Lauren was a phenomenal server, quite attentive. The eggplant was crispy, and the sliders made my kiddo happy. Had a Thomas Wolfe drink sent from the bar, and enjoyed it. So convenient and tasty while staying at the hotel.”

Tall John's

Nine Mile
“Enjoyed a delicious meal here the other night, had the Mayfield Falls- the mahi was cooked perfectly and the coconut cream sauce was very tasty! We sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple of cocktails as well and has the absolute best service from Shannon!! She is awesome and I witnessed her handle an unruly customer that night like a BOSS!!”
“First time here and we came for brunch! Very friendly staff and quick service! I ordered the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the bread pudding waffle and chicken. Both were impeccable. And they did not skimp on the shrimp in the grits! That creole sauce on top of the dish was chefs kiss. Can’t wait to come here again!”
Cheap Eats
“I LOVE the burger!! and I am a burger connoisseur. I don't eat out much because it usually makes my stomach hurt (rancid oil, GMO, non organic). But when I find a place that works for me, I'm loyal. Rebel Burger is my go-to burger place in AVL.Since I don't drink alcohol, and the reason for 3-star on atmosphere, I appreciate you having Devils foot drinks as well. The fries are yummy too!Dietary restrictions: GMO, non-organic.”
“Had an excellent experience booking the food truck to come to our office - they were super easy to work with, communicative, early, and the food was amazing! This was a great and cost effective way to feed a bunch of our staff.”
“Fantastic family owned business!Fresh seasoned to perfection fish.Chips… omg you can tast the LOVE!Don’t forget the homemade sauces!!Great addition to South Asheville.Welcoming Golden Chips with open arms-See you soon!”
“Had a blast! Great selection of pinball machines, arcade cabinets. They even had ALL the consoles with a great selection of games to choose from. There's a QR code to scan that will break down the game selection by consoles so you don't have to stand there and comb through all the games yourself. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed.”
“Super friendly and fun vibe and professional with an attention to detail. The Sunday jazz jam is first rate. The brews delish, love the ginger brew with notes of fig and vanilla, yum. And a fiid truck”
“This meal changed my life. My mouth was having a climax that I'll never forget.Breaded cauliflower, cornbread, Buddha bowl, loaded chili fries, and sauerkrout was what I ordered. It was sooooo good!”
“Atmosphere is cute and cozy. They have chill music playing. All types of people come in here which is nice to see! Seems to be a local favorite spot. The lavender latte and cappuccino were both great. We tried one of the chocolate croissants which they make in house. It is one of the best ones I've had that I haven't made myself. It had awesome texture and was a delight to dip into perfect latte foam. The food is good. It's all fresh and nutritious. I appreciate the thought that went into creating the menu and dishes. It is a few steps above regular "diner food" or your average cafe food.”
“Nice and small. Dessert was soooooo good. We had the tiramisu, raspberry cake, and chocolate cheesecake. Will go back when we take another getaway to Asheville!!! Prices was just right and if you pay with cash you get a discount!!”
“Grade A++ tiki experience. Excellent service. Got three drinks, one a bowl, all absolutely excellent. The decor is spot on. Only issue was music could have been island tropical but was blues. But I like the blues too. Just not right for the vibe for the decor. But 100% recommend anyone who is tired of all the beer to pop in here and escape to Bali hai.”
“Farm Dogs is one of the kiosks in the S&W Market- a beautiful food hall in downtown Asheville. I had the Farm Dog-hot dog on a soft bun with beef cheek chili, slaw, & chopped onions. The bun was so soft when I took 1st bite it broke right into so I had to eat my hot dog with a fork. The combination together of the local grass fed hot dog & toppings was delicious but so smothered in toppings I couldn't differentiate the meat from a pack of Nathan's! My husband built his own with chili & mustard. We also shared the pretzel knots. It was too early for the beer cheese to be ready. Beware that Lusty Monk mustard really has a bite to it! The server was fast & efficient & did a good job early on a Saturday AM.”
“Amazing and under rated spot. I love that it's a cheap greasy spoon type of diner, but the food is excellent! And everyone who works there is so sweet. 10/10. I go about once a week.”
“I had been watching pizza reviews for days and was craving a New York style pizza. I ordered the New Yorker, and it did not disappoint. Sweet tomato sauce with mozzarella and Asiago on a thin crust. I ordered the medium-sized pizza, which was plenty for two. Let's be honest, though. I ate the whole thing by myself.”
“The French toast biscuits were insane. Absolutely loved the jam bar was my jam. My boyfriend got the filthy animal - I had a few bites and oh my goodness. The honey lavender coffee was lovely. It was very busy but we were seated and served in no time. Can’t wait to go back :)”
“Super fun way to spend the afternoon! Hundreds of board games to choose from to play, good food and drinks. Good for adults, families, groups. Great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, too. Fun space, super nice people. Have been here multiple times, and will continue to be back!”
“First time in here today and I was blown away. Staff was super friendly and the wings were INSANE! some of the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 will be back to try the other flavors!”
“I was home for the weekend, and we were looking for something to eat latenight (sorta). Found this hidden treasure. It was just enough. I loved it because you are able to buy a slice and that's all we wanted.”
“Always the best! It is hard to get good Mediterranean food close to where I live so going here is a treat for me. Quality has not changed in the past year. Belly dancer on the Friday/Saturday is always a pleasure to watch as well! Pictured: Jordanian chicken ”

Nine Mile
“Nine Mile is my ultimate favorite restaurant. All 3 locations are great. Every time I know I’m going to love my meal if I literally get anything on the menu. The food is so different and has so much flavor. I could eat Natty Bread all day, it is seasoned SO well. I tried the soup of the day which was a curry carrot soup and it was delicious, made me very happy. I tried the Raggy Road and I think it’s my new favorite dish!! Also recommend Jamaican Me Thirsty and Cool Runnings.. or anything on the menu! Prepare to spend over $20 a dish but I’ll tell you it’s worth every penny.”
“We had the most delightful experience here. We got to enjoy the most delicious food in an inviting fresh environment. Our server, Jesse, was very knowledgeable and warm; added to the experience. We would highly recommend visiting here and we would definitely come back.”
“Both the acai and espresso peanut butter bowls were delicious! Really nice atmosphere and space as well. We tried the cashew cacao mylk as well and it was very good too, almost like a smoothie.”
37
Fig
“Fig Bistro was a very delicious! The potato bacon soup was pretty flavorful and a bit different then potato soup that I’m used to - less chunky and more smooth. The market fish was a trout was delicious with more of a citrus taste. The salmon was tasty with a bit of a lighter buttery flavor. The apple tart dessert was very good as well! Our waiter was very attentive. The place was smaller but comfortable.”
“Was taking a break from yardwork and wanted a quick lunch. Ordered grilled turkey sandwich. Sat outside and ate the best turkey sandwich I have ever eaten. You must try it yourself.”
“We flagged this place for their zero-proof cocktails and were pleased with both alcohol-based and non-alcoholic offerings. Hours may be a little weird in the off-season, but if you can stop by when they're open, you won't be disappointed.”

Bargello
“Bargello was a nice surprise. Located in the Arris (Kimpton Hotel) in downtown Asheville (close to everything Asheville) is the place to go for brunch on Sunday morning. The eclectic menu had just what everyone in our party wanted for brunch. From the classic Cubano, to a delicious take on Eggs Benedict, to Avacado toast and sumptuous French toast, everthing was delicious and the service was superb. Asheville has plenty of brunch options, and this option delivered.”

Cucina24
42
Guajiro
“I love a Cuban coffee paired with an authentic bite to eat. Outdoor seating with some sun in the RAD (River Arts District) is always a great way to start the day.”
43
Avenue M
“This is the best restaurant in Asheville. The staff is beyond knowledgeable about the entire menu. Read that again. The staff is beyond knowledgeable about the ENTIRE menu. The food is always great. The servers are second to none. Ralph and Tony are engaged and a testament to a time gone by in regard to how owners interact and are among their patrons. Ralph has forgotten more about wines than most of us will ever know. I cannot stress enough how great this place is. Whenever someone comes to visit- I tell them to go to Avenue M.”
“I enjoyed celebrating being in Asheville for the first time visiting my 26 yr old Granddaughter, Macy Richards! She couldn’t wait for me to hear the John Henry Band and I was NOT disappointed ?? perfect evening! Nanna from Indiana ?”

Contrada
“Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time, and the service was great. The place is pretty tiny so keep that in mind beforehand. If you have a large group ordering to-go may be a good option.”
“Standard Pizza exceeds my standards! GF pie crust is available, and my wife says it is really good, too. Grab a side salad to go with your pizza. It won't break the bank and quite tasty! We like the games (ping-pong and "regulation" shuffle board!) They usually have some good beer and non-beer selections on tap. If you need a different beer, just walk over to Hi-Wire for a bigger selection!Dietary restrictions: GF pizza pie crust available.”
“Probably the best Italian food my husband and I have ever had. The service is fast and friendly. We had to wait for a table but it was not very long to wait and it was definitely worth it. 10/10Parking: Get there early if you want to find parking”
“Really great service, go in pretty often for a thai milk tea with boba pearls. They are quick with my order and it always taste amazing. They’ve even walked my tea to me the 10 feet because I was in lala land. Amazing to see a family owned space be so accommodating as well as have fun decorations and things to buy.Not sure about the Jesus saves pamphlets but otherwise great space”
“such a cool tour, Franco was our tour guide and he was so funny and made a good environment to ask questions! really cool that they allow tours and the info they share is really interesting! it’s free and not super long so it’s a fun short thing to do, plus they have good merch and a cute cafe in ”
“2nd time me and my wife have visited here for our yearly Asheville getaway. Relaxed atmosphere with very cool bartender. Dog friendly and they have an amazing IPA!! A must visit for delicious craft beer. Cheers!”
“Best Italian food in Asheville. The Greek salad, mozz sticks , and linguine w shrimp scampi was all amazing. Tbh haven’t had a bad dish yet here, the only thing better was the service. Our waiter Dalton was amazing and a kind soul, if only my fiancé was as attentive to me as the service here !”
“Wonderful food and fun atmosphere. Had the chicken salad and tuna melt and they were absolutely delicious. Ask the owner about the penny bar. Funny story. Worth the ”
“Got two cocktails, which were an absolute delight! I would recommend trying their seasonal. Look at the notes in the description. It's what I used to guide my choices.”

Vivian
“Markedly one of the best in Asheville. My (generally vegy) partner shares a steak with me when we dine. The smoked oysters are on my list of top 5 plates in town.”
“I love this place! Authentic and full of flavor run by a local family. You can't beat the food and the portions are enough for me to take home lunch for tomorrow. When they have it available the mango sticky rice melts in your mouth! I'm a big fan of this curry soup in pic that comes with pickles! Sounds weird right? It totally works!”
“We have been visiting the Laughing Seed Cafe for years. This week I had the Lotus Grain Bowl for brunch and it was delightfully fresh, bright, and flavorful. I will definitely order this bowl again.Whenever I visit a restaurant, I look for cholesterol buster options, which means I'm looking for dishes that are meat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and fried-free (fried vegetables will not help me meet my cholesterol reducing goals).Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegetarian, and they also offer a large variety of vegan dishes.Dietary restrictions: The menu is clearly marked for dietary restrictions.”
“Ukiah was a great dining experience and very unique. With strong Japanese and other asian influences it took the smokehouse to a new level. We had the premium tasting menu which was a great way to sample the menu... highlights were all the raw bar items, the sea-bass, corned beef and bok choy ... everything was interesting and tasty.”

Café Canna
“Mark and Cora were first class today with customer service! If you are looking for a solid time in Asheville definitely check out Cafe c a n n a! Good temperature inside and even better atmosphere with even better employees better now friends! So I had the pleasure of trying this wonderful establishment for the first time ever. I was blown away by customer service that I don't get back at my home. I wonder why I've been to Asheville now five times within 2 months and soon to be six times. The reason for that is because people are real and people are kind around here. This will be an experience that I soon won't forget! I will treasure today as a positive memory versus a negative day. I hope to come back here again because this truly is first class!!”
“Such a fun place with a great atmosphere! Staff were all so welcoming and helpful, and the food was FANTASTIC!!!! I am already looking forward to going back and getting the blackened catfish and more mac n cheese! Don't miss the fries, they are so unique in the best possible way, you have to try them. Also, I am NOT a pickle person so when I say I ate every single pickle on my plate, just know that's an incredible pickle. I could write a novel about the sauces but instead I'll just say each one was so clearly crafted to perfectly compliment the dish it came with, I was VERY impressed.”

Vue 1913
“The view was beautiful and it was sunset. The ambience was very warm and everyone was attentive but not intrusive. Our waiter Ben was exceptional and took excellent care of our table. The food was heavenly, we had the Sea Bass and the Lobster Pasta. Everything was excellent!”
“Arrived with little to no wait. Our host Miriam was kind and took care of our order. Jon provided us tips on what we should order as it all sounded delicious! We ordered the GSW rice bowl added brisket( you can add multiple choice of meat to any dish including tofu for additional cost). The bowl came with a variety of fresh sweet and tangy toppings as well as sweet soy & mayo. The bowl was very filling neither of us could finish. We also ordered the Japanese fries…. These are hands down(deep down to the last one in the big bowl they are served in)delicious with the seasoning they top them with then dipping them in the spicy mayo and sweet soy on the side makes them even better. They have a fine crisp crunchy outside and soft fluffy potato center-my favorite texture in my opinion as it’s well balanced.Dietary restrictions: They offer vegan and gluten sensitive items provided knowledge on menuParking: There is street parking and a small lot that’s connected to the other side(pizza mind).”
“Asheville, if you don’t know, now you know! Forestry Camp has the fire beer and food, you need to make a beeline to this spot and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.”

Zambra
“We had a wonderful experience. We were lucky to get Grace as our server. We go every year on our travels back home.We went expecting our favourite tapas to discover a new menu. Our disappointment disappeared when we tasted our food.Innovative.Great mouth feel.Interesting flavours. We had 2 dips, eggplant and red pepper. Lots of fresh grilled pita. Plus a very tasty red fish.Exceeded all very high expectations.”
“Perfect spot for a low key solo outing. I came here on Saturday night in the mood for a good cocktail somewhere new. It's in the heart of downtown, right across from the dueling piano bar and was about a mile from the hotel where I stayed. I found some street parking a block away. Luckily it was relatively warm so I didn't mind the walk over. Sovereign is dark but inviting and was pretty crowded as expected on a Saturday but I sat at the lounge/sofa area right up front and enjoyed my beverage while finishing up my most recent book. They have a bunch of great classic options as well as some creative offerings as well as standard beer and wine picks. I opted for the Now We Dance (tequila, triple sec, coconut milk, rosemary syrup, lime, smoked salt rim) and it did not disappoint. My server was nice and friendly and checked in on my a couple times before I was ready to close out. I was tempted to try the wine port, but I ended up checking out another spot instead. It’s pricey but worth every penny for the experience and flavor! I will definitely come back here though - they have a food menu too and a Sunday brunch that I would love to try next time.”
“This little market has truly become the heart of West Asheville. It's community driven and well stocked .I personally love the bulk area as I'm trying to reduce the single use containers in my home.”
“The reviews were spot on. Great place for dinner. Started with pimento cheese dip and fried green tomatoes. Both were good and pimento cheese was unique due to it being hot. I had the shrimp P.O. boy and it was delicious with very soft bread making it easy to eat. For my side, I didn't go with traditional French fries, I got the chicken tortilla soup. Probably one of the best I've had. Hubby had the fried chicken with collards and gave his a 4 overall. Our friends had the chicken sandwich and avocado toast , both of which were good. We would come back here the next time in Asheville. I have to add that the manager, Matt, was great. The table next to us had a very drunk individual. While he did disrupt us or our dining experience at all, he was loud and obnoxious. The manager quietly exited the table and came over to apologize to us. Again, we were not disturbed at all, but he wanted to make sure that we were ok. Extra star for that!”
“A couple options here at the market which varied between fried chicken, tai food, empanadas and a couple dessert foods. Buxton Chicken Palace is where I chose to ate the chicken tenders were very good. I didn’t enjoy the honey sugars but they had a very good white bbq sauce. It was a little busy so that might be why the wait was so long but I will say if I were in a rush I would’ve had to leave without my food bc it took about 30 minutes to get chicken tenders. The tai place was very good not many menu options but was fast and delicious. Upstairs there is plenty of seating and the highland brewery where you can buy beer.”
“Great choice of craft beers upstairs along with some shuffleboard tables. Downstairs has a few food vendors. Tried the hand-made empanadas which were pretty good.”
“The best Pad Thai I have ever had and I have had plenty. The food is very authentic which I love. Their purple rice was delicious. It reminds me of my mother’s. I would def come back here when in town again.”
“dinner for 2. easy to get to if staying at the Grove Park Inn. Bread service was excellent, the has pasta and enjoyed, I ordered a hamburger med-rare, came out med-well but they swiftly replaced it and gave us some credit on the bill. Interesting wines at good prices and some interesting dishes. check it out!”

Cursus Keme
“Just an amazing brewery. Beers are delicious, gotta give it up for Das Horn Biere. Probably the most beautiful brewery I've been to, such a great atmosphere. Put this on your must stop at list while in Asheville”
“A stop at Walls Wine Bar while in downtown Asheville is a must! You can enjoy a taste, a glass or a bottle of some exceptional international wines. Walk through the gallery to take in the amazing photography of Benjamin Walls on safari or step outside and relax in the open air patio while people watching. While you are there, learn about once in a lifetime travel opportunities; the stuff dreams are made of!”

The Admiral
“Excellent. Brought my wife to this unassuming gem years ago for a date night ans we had a blast. They had frog legs and other adventurous delectables then and now that our kids are 8 and 5, I like to expose them to exciting food and restaurants from time to time, so we brought them. Sometimes kids at nice restaurants are unwelcome, so I scheduled earlier in night for the patio (6pm). We showed up 10 minutes early but we were met with smiles and and open table. Beware, there is no "kids menu" here, nor child beverages. However, our waitress was very kind an whipped up some Shirley Temples for them to sip on to feel fancy. The food was amazing, we started with the cheese board and olives - gouda & bleu with crostinis, toasted nuts, and a gooseberry jam - castelvetrano olives in a citrus marinade with blood orange segments and zest. They were great together and the kids enjoyed both - although much to the parents satisfaction, they shied away from the bleu. Next we had the head cheese, oyster mushrooms and pork belly as well. The head cheese is exactly what you would expect (if you go for that sort of thing), a little fatty, but when smeared on the bready toast points it's quite good - only wish we had more bread as it's too rich by itself, but we had more food. The pork belly was the most composed dish, well browned and juicy towers of pork on a pool of nutty/earthy sauce with crumbles of Rye. My kids don't like mushrooms, but I always make them try it again when we go somewhere new, this time was a miss for them but a HUGE hit for me. Brown butter and hazelnuts gave them a crunch and a coating of glaze that left them AND my taste buds dripping. Finally we shared the gnocchi - I had to explain what they were and how they were made to my kids so they could appreciate the dish. Fantastic pillowy bites of goodness with ramp green pesto, tetragonia and parmesan. By far the favorite of the night by all parties. We finished with the whiskey orange chocolate cake and a semifreddo sundae. All of this in about an hour with great service and hospitality in between. Well done on all fronts and one of the best Asheville has to offer.Kid-friendliness: Brought our kids Shirley Temples when they found out there wasn't much else for them. Friendly and engaging, as we as patient with them when ordering.”
“I love a good dark beer and this place had one that was dark and really smooth, lacking that awful bitterness that some dark beers get. It’s so cozy inside! I love being there. Lots of plants. It almost has a cafe vibe! I would bring my dad there as well as a friend or a date, lol! The staff indeed is exceptional. They know their beers and are so incredibly warm and welcoming. These folks have a great thing going.”

RosaBees
“I went for fancy drinks for my birthday this weekend and RosaBees did not disappoint! I especially loved the ambiance and low lighting, every little touch feels well thought out and beautiful! ✨ this pina colada was perfection!”
“This is our favorite pub when we are in the Asheville area. Great selection of local brews, particuarly Green Man, good food, and great live music. The atmosphere is exactly what you might expect in a small pub in Ireland. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful.”
“I stopped in today to try their pizza for lunch. I order a cheese as well as a Margherita pizza (wanted to take a pie home for the family to try). On Mondays they include a beer with the purchase of a cheese pizza or burger. It's too bad I was on the clock. Anyhow - Both pizzas were delicious, but the Margheritawas superior. Definitely an American take on Neapolitan style pizza. Do yourself a favor and find a reason to try their homemade ranch! That shiz should be bottled and sold everywhere! I will definitely be back with the wife to try some other menu items and beers. Cheers!”
“Falafel is phenomenal. Texture is fantastic and not dry at all. Baba ganoush was tasty and a good product. Beef shawarma is well above average too. Only thing I had the they can work on is the tabbouli. It’s a bit bland but it tastes fresh. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food but the overall experience is very positive.”

“Visiting from oot and this was a recommendation from a friend. Excellent experience all around. Joaquin D was our waiter and he was perfect. Super nice young man. Very personable.Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian enchilada and it was very good”

Rendezvous
“Amazing experience of French cuisine in Asheville, NC. We didn't have reservations and were prompted seated at the bar. We ordered wine, gin and tonic, onion soup, escargot, and steak Bouchon. Everything was delicious. Too bad I didn't make pictures of soup and steak... was so hungry. If you on date be careful Everything so garlicky, but you can not resist. We even met the owner, and he is a very down to earth guy. Can't wait to come back again.”

Little Pearl
“The food was amazing. We had the Bass special and dumplings and both were delicious. Presentation was great and so was the service. Would highly recommend trying this place out!”
“Remember, this is Chuck E Cheese and not some quaint eatery and you'll be pleased. Everything seemed exceptionally clean. The pizza, bread sticks, and cookie were really better than I expected. The app was maybe a little confusing at first, but I think you can learn how things work pretty quickly. The games all seemed to be working and the electronic tickets are nice. Overall, this is a glorious hub of noise and overstimulation with just the right amount of fun and energy expense. I was a little confused when the animatronic Chuck E came out and just looked around, but no one seemed bothered by it. If you are looking for some wild fun and looking for a nap after, this is your place!”
“Ahh Oyster House! Everything one would want in a local neighborhood seafood restaurant, brewery and bar all in one very small space. After eating the Carolina trout dish so many times I switched to the étouffée, my new favorite. We also had the crawfish bites for the first time and they were a good replacement for fries.Hey O’ House, bet y’all would rock a crawfish special, the Louisiana ones are in season!”
“Nice little cozy brewery with a very nice vibe love the underground style and decor perfect to enjoy a cold brew while walking downtown you can get food from farm burger that’s a plus.”
“Had the sweet potato noodle dish it was not what I was expecting but really good! I was not ready for the texture it was awesome, haha! The stone bowls were also delicious and served sizzling hot so the mango sorbet at the end was the perfect touch. Great for a fancy date or fun new family experience. Will go back!”
“Everyone was very nice and accommodating of out large group. The food is delicious with a variety of options on their menu. Great beverage choices including multiple local craft beers.”
“My husband and I came for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Our server Brendan was wonderful. He was attentive and so kind. We ordered the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The collard dip was incredible. We sat at the window and got to see black bears play in a tree! Dinner and show lol highly recommend this restaurant for food, service, and atmosphere.”

Blue Ridge
“Thoroughly enjoyed the buffet selections. The prime rib was amazing; and the diverse array of salads was amazing. This was our second visit to the Blue Ridge Room. Top quality! I don't remember having to pay $12 for parking though.”
“This was a great place for lunch! I was very happy with how attentive the waitress was refilling everyone's glass. The view is great, and the food was good too.”
“Not only is this a gem of a spot where you can see records being pressed while you sip on a cozy latte - Cheryl aka the Giddy Chick has taken over Sessions Cafe and made it next level!!! From the Falafel Waffle, to the personal sized quiche, the amazing egg Sammie to the curried cauliflower Buddha bowl, the hardest part is making a decision!!! Don’t sleep on dessert either - Cheryl ran the pastry program for the Inn @ Biltmore and before that the Ritz in both Chicago & NYC. Her Cookies! Her Pastries! “Solid beer, great pizza, and incredibly kind bar staff. They took every precaution with my weird food allergy without making it feel like the inconvenience that it is. Can’t thank them enough!”
“The food is excellent and the portionsare very large! The service was great too. The atmosphere feels cramped, you will definitely be able to hear the conversations going on at tables beside you. I'll get to-go in the future.”
“Visited in October 2014. Absolutely a must-visit spot. The Funkatorium serves an impressive selection of sour and funky barrel-aged Wicked Weed brews. The place charms with an interior that blends the warmth of a bodega with the conviviality of a German Bierstube. The absence of Wi-Fi was a minor inconvenience during my last visit, though this may have since been updated.”
“One of the best Camarones a la Diabla I have had in the Carolinas. Good food, good service. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the parking lot sucks. It is too compact, making it difficult to get a large vehicle (such as a pickup) through.”
“We had a beautiful dinner at AP a few nights ago. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is very stylish and romantic. My only regret was not saving room for dessert.”

Café Bomba
“When I tell you I’ve been thinking about our brunch at Bomba for months, I’m not kidding! We are from Atlanta and I’ve pondered several times about booking a weekend trip back to Asheville solely for the purpose of revisiting here. The Cafe con Leche (which has cinnamon) is the best coffee I’ve ever had. French onion soup was also super good, as well as the Cuban sandwich and crab benedict. We will certainly be back.”
“We were there to celebrate a birthday...all was great except it would have been nice if they would have offered a cupcake with a candle or something to make the night even more special.”
“This was our first visit to Luella's, but it will certainly not be our last. We made the trip to Asheville to visit REI and decided to give Luella's a try since it was close by, and it turned out to be a great choice. The food was great and the service was excellent. It was a 5 star visit in every way.”

“The food was fresh and good ? and we didn't have to wait long to get our food.Vegetarian options: There's an impossible whopper and it doesn't use real meat. It pretty good ?”
“The pizza I got was so good! I hadn't been to a pizza hut in a long time and I had forgotten what an incredible pizza tasted like. Yeah, there's some pizza places out there that's cheaper, but the flavor and quality can not match Pizza Hut. Also, the staff there are outstanding!”
“I was just passing through on a road trip. The food was good and the service was good. The lady who assisted us was very nice ?Vegetarian options: There are not many vegetarian options here except for the basics. French fries, biscuits and whatnot.”
“We had subs and a pizza. The service was excellent especially since there was a packed house. The meatball sub and steak and cheese sub were delicious. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Hands down.”
“Food was delicious, Service was superb, but place was very noisy and tables are too close together. Our table was bumped by servers at least two times, once almost spilling our drinks.”
“Izzy’s is the best! I was actually on my way out of Asheville and left my wallet in the shop. When I realized, I was already states away. They were so kind and actually shipped my wallet to my home in Texas!! Not to mention I had an absolutely fire London Fog latte while I was there. 10/10”
“Food is great. Salad bar is really great! Waitress's so so. Service Depends on who you get. This place is great don't get me wrong! Very happy with the actual food.”
“Really cool little spot in downtown Asheville. My husband has performed here twice and it's neat, very hole in the hole I would call it. Staff is friendly and professional. Punk-ish atmosphere. Not stuck up. Would reccomend anyone check this place out.”
“We had a wonderful experience. It was a cooler day of 77 and we really enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables and playing connect 4.We couldn’t believe how soft and flavorful the snocones were. I had the apple a La mode and my family enjoyed the rainbow. We will be back, thank you.”
“The food is very good. The place is small. I noticed that many people ordered food to go. There's no restroom. The guy who runs the gas station next door WILL NOT ALLOW YOU to use the restroom. We were planning to buy something at the gas station, and he said that it was out of service until a little girl ( assuming she is the owner's daughter) beg him to allow us to use the bathroom, but at this point we decided to go to anothe gas station and buy some snacks, and use their restroom. So, if you are planning to go to the restaurant, keep in mind there is no restroom. Take it to go. Overall, the food was very good!”

We went last night and I totally forgot to take pictures but I remembered I had some from my last visit about a month ago that I’ll post here.We love pretty much everything they cook and they are super nice people. The owner is always there with such a great welcoming attitude. He always stops by to share his sincere appreciation and gratitude for supporting his business. Great experience every single time!Parking: Parking is in front of the building, along the side and around back.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options, high chairs and kid friendly atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of wheelchair accessible seating along with parking spots and ramp to enter building.”

“The chicken salad croissant was tasty and filling. The farro risotto really shouldn’t be called risotto. Definitely misses the mark on what I was expecting… but not bad.Service was great and really cool atmosphere”
“Red Stag had the best filet I’ve ever had! Great ambience and great food. Brian B. (our server) was awesome and gave us top notch recommendations on everything!”
“My friend and I ate here on 3/10/24 and we had Kat as our waitress! She was AMAZING! I had never eaten here before and she was so sweet to answer my questions and help me decide on what to get (the meatloaf was the final decision. Sauce was a little spicy for my preference). When dessert time came, while she hasn't had them yet, she went and asked someone else there what they preferred. I had a follow up question on the dessert and she asked them for me as well. Another perfect decision. It was the best evening after a lovely day at the spa! Thank you Kat!”
“We were happy to be able to have a bite at the end of a long road trip. The hostess and waitress were very nice. We had Cheeseburger sliders, yucca fries, and beef empanada. They were all pretty good but not outstanding. My impression is they use frozen food. On a different afternoon we enjoyed a glass a wine on the lovely deck with a feat view.”
“Wow. The Filet was delicious, so much flavor. From the starter to the main course, we were both impressed. Plates were literally cleaned so we didn’t have room for dessert. Next time!! The staff was very kind and friendly. That something you remember.”
“Aaron is our favorite bartender. We’re annual pass holders and seeing him is one of the highlights of our trips. He’s always kind and courteous and the best bartender we’ve ever had.”
“Lovely dinner at a great find! Delicious vegetarian options and fantastic drinks and desert. Put yourself in the bartenders’ hands and choose an “on the spot!””
“AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! This was my first time in a piano bar and it was sooooo fun. Our server Carrigan was AMAZING and I wish she was my server every time I went out. Very friendly, kind, quick and did I mention amazing!!”
“We came here for brunch around 12:30 on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. Brunch portions were large and delicious. Really enjoyed the fries and pancakes! Everything came out in a timely manner and our waitress checked on us periodically.”
“My friend and I had an outstanding dining experience at Rhubarb last night. Our server, Kelsey, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We shared the cheese plate, gnocchi, carrots and brisket dish, all of which were absolutely delicious. Their wine selection was great too. The atmosphere is very welcoming. We want to go back to try more of the menu- you can’t go wrong here! Highly recommend.”
“We enjoyed our dinner. It was a relaxing evening. The server William did a great job. We opted to go. Vegetarian had the pickled vegetables, potato soup, bread, and a wonderful salad. We liked that a lot of the items were locally sourced”
“This was such an incredible dinning experience! It was so fantastic we when back the very next evening. The staff is so warm and attentive. Chef Hector has paired some of the most sensational ingredients together to create the most delicious food I have ever eaten in my 38 years! I can not wait to come back to Asheville just to eat here! Thank you to the entire staff at Modesto and Chef Hector!”
“The tradition breakfast I ordered was excellent! Soft scramble eggs were done to perfection. The bacon was more than I had expected. The crusted parmesan potatoes were the best. I was a little disappointed in the Bloody Mary I had ordered. Felt the price was a little steep from what I got. It was tasty nevertheless. It was a little while since I had been to this restaurant . I liked their new open decor!”
“It was a really nice and chill place. We had a great brunch. They handled our group of 11 with ease. If in the area, I’d go back.Kid-friendliness: Our kids were very comfortable and they made concessions with the menu items to accommodate the kids. They pretty much told us tell us how you want it and we can make it.”
“We were there after a movie and Leo's was not crowded. We would have liked the food to be warmer when it was served. Our Server Ben was the best...his recommendations were superb....he made it a very special meal....”

“We ordered the General Tso's, Mongolian Beef, Thai Basil Chicken, and built our own ramen. It was all phenomenal. All the food arrived freshly cooked, which did cause the food to come out at different times, but the food was so good; that detail didn't bother us. The General Tso's is labeled spicy, but it wasn't so spicy that the person who got it--that can't handle too much heat--still enjoyed it. Building your own ramen bowl can be a little overwhelming, but they give options that will work together no matter what you choose! We will definitely be coming back here!”
“Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but the food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! Adam was our server and he was attentative, kind, and fast! The margaritas were very good and not watered down at all. I'm going to come back and try new flavors :)”
“The most amazing food! The jerk is incredible, and the sides are so amazing too. I can’t believe we’re so lucky to have this place in Asheville! Thanks Charlie!”
“I love this place, the people who work in there are really funny and they usually get my order right. Sometimes they don’t call my name when my food is ready or they forget to make my food for a while, but they’re nice about it so I don’t mind.”
“I came with my family to see if this place would be good for my birthday. The food was reasonably priced and high in quality. I ordered the grilled fish fillet, my expectations were blown out of the water. The fish was tender, and well seasoned, it came with rice, beans, and salad. The salsa bar had full customization of whatever you like. Portion sizes were amazing. The size of each meal was more than what we payed for. Thanks La cabana!Vegetarian options: My father and my brother are both vegetarian, they enjoyed their meals and had leftovers to take home.Wheelchair accessibility: My brother is in a power chair. He had better seating in this restaurant than 80% of all restaurants in North Carolina.”
