“Niyah was pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable on the menu, anticipating our needs. Taco Boy menu is great—the salsa with chips is very tasty and fresh-made on-site each day. The chips are thin, light, and lightly salted, also freshly made and spectacular. We also had the shrimp quesadillas, and fried ice creams. Can’t say enough about the generous portion of shrimp, the seasoning, and presentation! We had patio seating on a beautiful, September evening! And all-round pleasure. Thanks Niyah and the whole crew!“

“Been dining with Terisa and her family since they opened. The quality of the food is always superb -- especially the many dish and dipping sauces. Service is always very friendly and attentive. Best House Margarita in town! Impressive sports bar. Even the chairs are works of art -- hand painted wood carvings and metal imprints of primitive scenes throughout. We've frequented all the local TexMex venues for 30 years. Orale's Bar & Grill is the stand-out best in Asheville.“

“Stumbled upon this place while hosting an out of town friend. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. Very laid back, nice atmosphere. We opted to sit at the bar for drinks & dinner. Tim was very friendly and answered a few questions we had about the menu. I had the Paloma and my friend had the Tequila old fashioned. Probably the best Paloma I've ever had. I tasted the old fashioned too, & it was amazing! Chips & salsa was really good- fresh, thick chips and a nice variety of salsas. Then.. the meals! Flavor, texture, presentation.. it was all amazing and fresh, high quality ingredients. I will spread the word about this place because it's really the best Mexican restaurant we've been to in Asheville.“

“One of the better family-owned Mexican restaurants in the region.

My old joke that a good Mexican restaurant has a big TV and a soccer game running stands true here as well.

But what makes this place great is the food. It is more California Mex, which this former Californian misses.

Basic as it is, I almost always get the chicken burrito. Interesting blend of flavors, and just the right amount of sour cream to carry the entire meal.“

Wheelchair accessibility: Kinda tight corners on the outside and the door opens from the outside so getting in with no help would be kinda interesting, however there might be a better way on the other side, I'm not sure though!“

“This is an often overlooked but great place. More people should try it. They accommodate vegetarians better than any other Mexican place in Asheville. -Not only by offering great spanish rice without chicken fat, but by being very friendly! There is one other restaurant that offers the rice, but they tend to be rude and impatient.

Vegetarian options: Like I already said, the Spanish rice is vegetarian. That's very rare. Also they have plenty of options for meals and the refried beans are without lard- not always a given. Guacamole has no sour cream for those avoiding dairy.“

The burritos are huge flavorful the ingredients are not bland like at chipotle, they actually salt and season the meats and other toppings. “I visited this location a while ago and just got to writing a review. I was only reminded because I had a few questions before I put in an order today. I called the store and instantly got a manager who was very kind and informative. He was able to answer all my questions with no problems even with my two children screaming in the background about unrelated topics, they didn't want taco bell tonight but it doesn't matter because it's mommas choice tonight. Kids can get their McDonalds and Burger King when they have their own money for it. But going back on topic. All of my questions were perfectly answered and luckily everything I wanted tonight was ready and available, including my favorite burrito and drink! It's nice to feel like you can really have a conversation with someone as if you know them. I love this Taco Bell and can't wait to go back and see the enthusiastic smiling faces of the employees!

Kid-friendliness: There is NO play area, but they do or at least did at the time of this post have booster seats for kids. They offer tables with the height just right for kids that are able to sit by their selves to still reach their food! They have a single men's bathroom and a single woman's bathroom, which are spacious and have emergency bars if needed.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have the extra widened doors, handicapped bathrooms, handicapped parking spots. No stairs. There's plenty of room to move around, and the floor is going to be concrete outside.“
