One of the best Camarones a la Diabla I have had in the Carolinas. Good food, good service. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the parking lot sucks. It is too compact, making it difficult to get a large vehicle (such as a pickup) through.
Great cheap food, very broad menu with everything typical of American Mexican restaurants, casual and quick! Looks like a hole in the wall but it's very welcoming like any small family business atmosphere. Been going regularly for years and will keep going and keep recommending it as a staple option in Asheville.

When you have a craving for Mexican food, then you should go to someplace that has authentic Mexican food made by actual Mexicans. This is one of those great places. No TexMex here. This is the authentic real thing. We sit down, we order a Dos, Equis Ambar, and the guacamole bowl that they make fresh right at the table with a smile and simple but delicious ingredients!
