“Carigan is quite literally the most amazing server I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. She is able to flawlessly handle a bar filled with 75-100 people and ensure everyone has a drink and a good time. This bar is amazing and I highly recommend!“
“Had a blast! Great selection of pinball machines, arcade cabinets. They even had ALL the consoles with a great selection of games to choose from. There's a QR code to scan that will break down the game selection by consoles so you don't have to stand there and comb through all the games yourself. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed.“
“Absolutely love this place! Almost scared to rate it so high and encourage others to stop in. But they truly do deserve it. Wonderful staff always available to answer questions and give insight on their vast menu of specialty cocktails and Mezcal flights. Amazing atmosphere offering both inside and outside seating with heaters to take the edge off the winter temperatures. It is a small building/occupancy but I think it truly adds to the ambience of the space. And to top it off the food truck parked just behind is amazing.Parking: Lot between the brewery and Anoche has plenty of parking. Also a few spots on the street.Kid-friendliness: Not a location I would recommend taking your kiddos.“
“This place is really unique. I'm not from NC, so when we saw this on yelp, we knew we had to try it out. It's really cool. The drinks are interesting and d the bartenders are super friendly! The vibe is cool if you like unique places. They had a show when we tried to go. They said we just needed to stay in a certain area and didn't charge us extra. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Asheville!“
“Loved the experience! The dining room is beautifully decorated. The bread that they brought out for an appetizer was really good. I especially liked how they had different types of bread to try. The food was very good too. I got the lobster tails, and both had really good flavor. Everything else in the dish was a very good compliment to it too. The filet mignon was very good as well. Very flavorful. Next time I visit I will definitely come back here for dinner.“
“Grade A++ tiki experience. Excellent service. Got three drinks, one a bowl, all absolutely excellent. The decor is spot on. Only issue was music could have been island tropical but was blues. But I like the blues too. Just not right for the vibe for the decor. But 100% recommend anyone who is tired of all the beer to pop in here and escape to Bali hai.“
“We went on a local brewery tour as a group and we loved every minute of it. Our tour host, Cloud, made this tour better than great with a genuine feeling excitement about getting to show off some of the local breweries and other sights and locations in between. The bus was a fun and unique way of touring the city with its artsy touches and decor. There was nothing better than cruisin' through the streets of Asheville while listening to a fantastic band, Perpetual Drip, get their groove on and make the whole bus dance in their seats. The three breweries that we went to had a nice selection of beers that should suit most everyone and there were usually some sort of food truck/trailer at each location in case you start to get snacky because of all the delicious beer you have been swigging. If I ever get the chance I would do this tour or another one that Lazoom provides as I had a super time on this brewery tour ♥️♥️“
“This place was amazing to discover while staying in flat rock for the week. Enjoyed some food and drinks while playing some board games that we never played. Love the concept of the store. Getting away from the devices and spend some quality time like the good old days.“
“Rosetta’s is a delicious restaurant with a diverse menu chock full of vegan items. They also have a great selection of drinks and vegan desserts. Unfortunately, since moving to their new location, they have been getting more and more expensive. The fare stays the same but the prices get higher. The food, however, is fantastic. You’ll just feel the hit on your wallet as well as the one in your stomach!Vegetarian options: Extremely vegetarian and vegan friendly. There’s no meat on the menu!“
“Stumbled upon this gem of a pizza food truck while exploring Asheville's brewery scene and, wow, what a find! The hot honey and bianca pizzas are must-tries; they've quickly become our go-tos. Fresh, hot, and consistently delicious, we find ourselves tracking this truck's location just to get another slice. It's a clear winner in our book. Five stars across the board!“
“This place ROCKS!! I LOVE what these guys & gals are doing for our community. Their ginger beer/soda/craft cocktails are all delicious and so tasty. Check out their specialty cocktails which constantly change with the seasons. Love the large, open space surrounded by pallets of cans, making you feel truly immersed in the product. The location is great and close to everything in Asheville along with plenty of parking. Do yourself a favor and do not miss this place!“
“I went into the Crow and Quill to get a night cap on my birthday. The service was amazing. Both bartenders were so sweet and accommodating. They made my birthday really special. I had the best gin and tonic ever (not kidding). I will definitely be coming back.“
“My wife and I happened to spot this cidery as we were walking through the South Slope area of downtown Asheville. Boy were we happy to bump into this place! A great addition to the many breweries that this area is known for.My wife is a huge fan of ciders. After trying the pick your own flight, she said this was one of the best cider experiences she has had. Sweet ciders, dry ciders, spicy ciders...you name it, they have it. In addition, they have a large assortment of beers as well for anyone who doesn't drink cider.Vibrant and fun place with super friendly staff. Add in some comfy couches, tvs, shuffleboard, pool table and a ping pong table, and you have one fun spot all the way around! Dogs are welcome inside, which is a huge bonus to any pet lover.“
“Interesting little spot in West Asheville. Smash burgers and fires were hot of the grill and very filling.Josh was both bartender and waiter but was very attentive.Parking: The parking lot is small, so we can see having to find a spot up the street and walk down.“
“Such a fan of Botanist and Barrel’s ciders and wines. I love that they are all natural and contain no weird additives. Extra brownie points since their organic ingredients are sourced locally from their farm or other local sources! Love the tasting rooms ambiance and chill vibes. Highly recommend!!“
“Really cool little spot in downtown Asheville. My husband has performed here twice and it's neat, very hole in the hole I would call it. Staff is friendly and professional. Punk-ish atmosphere. Not stuck up. Would reccomend anyone check this place out.“
“Solid, tasty brunch. I had the bagel and lox- it’s a perfectly sized portion, with plenty of salmon and roe- and the cream cheese is delicious! I got the Bloody Mary, which was good- the pork rind was a nice addition. My only disappointment was the cinnamon roll my friend ordered and shared. I was eager to try it since it’s famous in town, but it was completely stale. No effort had been made to even re-warm it, and it was hard. I will say that she enjoyed it that way; but being a pastry chef myself, I would never serve a cinnamon roll like that. I hope to try a fresh one and will update my review if I do.Over all, it was a nice experience and I’m looking forward to trying other menu items next time I brunch there.“
“We had a wonderful experience at Fahrenheit Pizza. We brought some family with us from out of town. We had pizza, garlic knots and even tried their cannolis! The food was all very delicious, especially the pizza. And the staff were all very kind and inviting, especially Conrad. (He was the one that sold us on the cannolis) As a pizza snob, this place has inched its way into my top 3 pizza places in Asheville. Cheers!“
“One of the original breweries here in town & one of my favorite breweries for beer in the country. It's a don't miss kind of thing place. Only come for the beer & people watchin. Have a great walk about the arts district or just go for a walk along the river. IMO - they make the best beer of anywhere you'll ever go.“
“Simply put, this venue was the best ever. The staff is exceptional. They went above and beyond to be as accommodating as possible for my wife and I because of our health issues. They truly made this night incredible! The stage and seating/standing room is small, which just makes the experience more intimate and amazing. There is a Taqueria inside which makes some of the most amazing, authentic food I've ever had. I would have seriously driven from Spartanburg South Carolina just to eat here! I know that I will be coming back as often as I can! I'd very highly recommend that if you want to have a magical night out with excellent food and music from the best staff around, you've got to come here!“
“One of the best Camarones a la Diabla I have had in the Carolinas. Good food, good service. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the parking lot sucks. It is too compact, making it difficult to get a large vehicle (such as a pickup) through.“
“Had a pretty rude waitress but the food and quickness of service made up for it - other wait staff were very polite! Also pet friendly for outside seating.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan substitutes that are delicious!Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for dietary restrictions, gluten free options, dairy free and vegan.Parking: Had to park in a paid parking lot on the same street. Prices weren't as bad as some lots - around 6 dollars an hourKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly in atmosphere and in the menu!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrance and wheel chair accessible bathroom stall, and accomadating seating at some tables“
“Azalea Bar & Kitchen has truly set the bar high for an exceptional brunch experience. My kids ordered the Southern Apple Stack pancakes, which were fluffy and perfectly cooked with a generous topping of chopped apples and vanilla maple syrup. The highlight of our brunch experience was the Stuffed French Toast. The 3 layers of perfectly prepared French Toast were decadently stuffed with a rich and creamy cream cheese and goat cheese filling that was a savory symphony. I was sad when my stomach was too to eat anymore. I also ordered a side of home fries - crispy, salty nuggets of potatoes. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive and friendly. Our coffee cups were never empty, and our meals were served quickly. In all, the brunch at this Asheville hidden gem exceeded our expectations. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu.“
“Not only is this a gem of a spot where you can see records being pressed while you sip on a cozy latte - Cheryl aka the Giddy Chick has taken over Sessions Cafe and made it next level!!! From the Falafel Waffle, to the personal sized quiche, the amazing egg Sammie to the curried cauliflower Buddha bowl, the hardest part is making a decision!!! Don’t sleep on dessert either - Cheryl ran the pastry program for the Inn @ Biltmore and before that the Ritz in both Chicago & NYC. Her Cookies! Her Pastries! OMG!!!Pro tip: She also does custom cakes and pies.Vegetarian options: From the quiche (best ever) to the curried cauliflower Buddha bowl to the falafel waffle, Cheryl has got you covered with any dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free Options, soooooooo delicious!!!“
“This place was great! We had a very fancy dinner on our weekend trip and they served us so little food we were still hungry after. We stopped here on a whim and shared the cuban cowboy sandwich. On the recommendation of our server, we had the pasta salad. Both were delicious! The brisket and pork were so juicy. The service was quick and helpful. The place had a cool vibe and we very much enjoyed our experience. We would definitely come back.“
“We had such a great time! We were in town to see Biltmore and hike the Pisgah Forest and were looking for some live music. We started at the guitar bar at the other end of the building, but it was way too crowded and not what we were looking for. We heard the music from this place and wandered in. The band Binz was amazing and so much fun, the place is fun and funky and cozy with lots of art on the walls, and everybody was really friendly. And a guy came in with three big dogs that went around and said hi to everybody! The only thing is, we almost missed it because it was not on any of my Google searches!“
“Thank you for giving us that magical moment and experience! Come to Fleetwood's for a fantastic time! The staff are amazing! They went above and beyond to make my bride and I feel special. Fleetwood offers family for those who need it! I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!“
“absolutely stellar cocktails and awesome vibe. so happy to stumble on this place and would definitely come back. you can tell the bartenders know what they're doing. the spitting devil was 10/10 and the perfect daiquiri is accurately named.“
“Stopped here last week while int he area with my girlfriend. The beer selection is second to none. However, the menu is a 30 page folder. We stuck to the tap menu on Untappd for simplicity's sake. If you live there, direct the menu, but for a quick visit it is overwhelming. The atmosphere is neat, but it was cold, when they finally closed the big door, it warmed up a bit. The bartender was mostly disinterested and he was the only staff present. So Menu ... 5 stars ... but simplify it. Atmosphere ... 4 stars ... pretty cool, but cold and not that clean Service ... 3 stars“
“Great venue and outdoor space to linger before the concert. Drinks were reasonable, and the food was very good. I saw Christone " Kingfish" Ingram. Great show, good sound. The concert was broadcast to an outdoor screen by two firepits.“
“We love Wedge Brewing! If you're in town- it's a must visit for beer! Great location, good vibes, and good service! Been coming here for years, and the only thing we wish is that they'd bring back Paynes Pale Ale (our favorite!!! Please!!!!) Cheers??“
“Loved the food, and the beer was incredible, the atmosphere would melt cupids heart but I had to give you a four because it's 20 degrees outside and the damn mens bathroom almost froze my pickle off. Needless to say, the beer was excellent, causing way tomany bathroom trips.“
“Awesome little corner bar facing the Woolworth building downtown. Great to watch the various Asheville citizenry from an open air window overlooking the street. Very small establishment but nice and chill. Beautiful bar and wooden bar tables. Best thing is the beer selection is spot on. I was planning to do an afternoon pub crawl but I mostly hung out here to drink. They also do some really great smelling coffee too for any friend of bill w out there still into the casual bar scene!“
“Neat little place! We needed a place to hang out until our Air B&B was ready. While it's odd to have a bar at a gas station, the backyard area was awesome. It's fenced in and there wasn't much of a crowd, so we could let our dog off leash for a bit & he had a ball! Most drinks were $4 & they even had a good berry seltzer!“
“My “food” rating is actually for the drinks — Little Jumbo is my favorite cocktail bar in Asheville.Parking: Parking across the street at Five Points Restaurant (which is closed when Little Jumbo is open). I’ve never had a problem finding a spot.“
“A group of friends and I decided to stop into the great hall bar for a drink and to take in the beautiful view that Omni Grove Park Inn has to offer. The indoor area is beautiful with their two massive fireplaces with rocking chairs surrounding. If we had come during the winter months this would be where you could find me with a glass of wine and book in hand. They also had plenty of other seating inside so we weren't grappling for a table. Once we sat down we ordered a round of wine/cocktails and my husband and I shared the bourbon and banana pudding. Hands down one of the best banana puddings we have ever had. It has thick, creamy layers of banana pudding mousse, white chocolate whipped cream, bourbon caramel, and caramel crisps served with a side of nilla wafers. Because it was a warmer day we decided to sit outside to finish our drinks and take in the views. I cant think of a more relaxing, breathtaking spot to have a drink and to just chill. This spot should be on everyone's list when taking a trip to Asheville!“
“We LOVED our experience at the Golden Pineapple! It was our first time there, we've heard a little about it. The drink menu is very fun and has something for everyone. Non alcoholic and alcoholic options. We both had the Bodega sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches we both have ever had! Everything about the sandwich was incredible and the side salad was so delicious! The atmosphere was nothing short of pleasant. Fantastic place. We will definitely be coming back.P and J“
“They have a new local Poblano food truck with incredible flavors. The bartender was so welcoming, and reflects Asheville's original scene. Creative, authentic, and sustainability focused. We sat down to enjoy avocado sandwiches and over all a queer friendly vibe. Puppy friendly. It great for after the park lounging.Vegetarian options: Cactus tacos & mushroom quesadillas.“
“Excellent intimate venue. Good wine choices in addition to a wide range of beer both bottled and on tap. They get excellent music acts and if you live the blues you need to check out Mr Jimmy on Friday nights. The only complaint is they could use more space.“
“I walked in on a visit fron Florida and became the Spiritual Leader of the audience during Sweet Caroline (BAHM BAHM BAHM!). I had a blast partying with my fiance whom I battled against in the Sweet Caroline chorus. We had a few delicious drinks and really enjoyed the entertainment. The amount of genres played by these two were outstanding! They did such an amazing job and I was very excited to be a part of the night.Looking for a fun night out with a really neat atmosphere, beautiful views out front, and extremely talented piano players? This is the spot to be!“
“This place is almost on my top five chill hangouts in Asheville. The bartenders were friendly. The ambiance was neat, they had a bunch of antique, dark wood furniture, the only thing that I disliked was the TVs. It’s a cigar lounge, a place to hangout and spend time with other connoisseurs. If you want a sports show, go to a sports bar. If they took out the TVs, this place would definitely hit my top five.“
“First time visiting this place while in Asheville NC and it was really good. My boyfriend and I got the chicken nachos and fajitas to share and we couldn't even eat the fajitas because, between the chips and dip and nachos, we were stuffed!! Their menu is a little overwhelming because it has so much on it though.“
““Crave” was the second stop on my dad’s “80th” birthday experience. The waitress “Ravyn” was wonderful. She made the experience so much fun. The desserts were phenomenal and the decaf coffee was delicious. We will go back more than just on birthdays.“
“Me and my wife loved everything about this place. Located in the heart of the city. The service was A+ when we were there and the food was incredibly delicious! We will be regulars here without a doubt. If anyone is ever in Asheville, stop here for brunch. You will not be disappointedDietary restrictions: Had some gluten free options“
“Met some really nice people. Have karaoke all night on Friday. Prices were high though for a local bar. Love the business responded. Awesome you have cheaper beer!! Amazing. We drink alcohol most times. I've had alcohol at locations that weren't doing a craft drink at cheaper than the $9 was charged BUT I get it. Location plays a role in prices and you gotta do what you can. I just appreciate the business responded and cares. So I'm upping my rating to a 4 based on that alone. So many places don't care!“
“This is likely our favorite brewery in Asheville! We have a wonderful experience every time we visit which is unfortunately every few years, but always worth the wait. We stopped in last Monday afternoon and were welcomed immediately, the bartender from Denver who I unfortunately didn’t get his name was one of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time. We stayed longer than anticipated because we were having such an enjoyable time with great beers! Their tap list ranges from basic lagers to breakfast porters and many things in between. They have some beer options to go in this location, for merchandise we went next door to the main Green Man brewery. You can’t beat the vibe here at Dirty Jacks though, can’t wait until we can visit again!“
“We found this little gem by chance and were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, kid friendly (albeit its an adult place). We sat at a small corner table by the bar. We enjoyed some sharable plates, great wines, mocktails for the kids, excellent wines and my wife a great Vesper made by Luci (the bartender). But the cherry on top was the fact that she made a perfect Irish Coffee - a simple drink, but buttered by 99% of the bar tenders. We will be back.“
