“Really cool little spot in downtown Asheville. My husband has performed here twice and it's neat, very hole in the hole I would call it. Staff is friendly and professional. Punk-ish atmosphere. Not stuck up. Would reccomend anyone check this place out.“

“Venerable Asheville Dive Bar, and no- they don't serve burgers of any kind. Not a restaurant, just a bar named for Burger Beer out of Ohio. Pretty chill crowd, and the best Saturday Nite Karaoke in town, but be warned that you'll be competing with Asheville's Theatre Kids.“
“They state that the bar and grill is, "cozy and quirky".... and it was. Traveling through Asheville NC, we met friends and the ladies decided to do a lunch and some thrift shopping. We found a place in West Asheville that was really fun. DeSoto Lounge was small, eclectic, and had a reasonably priced brunch menu. Dogs are allowed at the outside seating area. We split a club sandwich with a salad, chips. The food was fine, it was the music and atmosphere which was the step back into the '70's. The entire area was filled with vintage clothing stores, crystal/rock shops and other reto pubs. Quite an ecclect experience.“
“I was walking past this joint and heard some amazing music, so wandered in to find myself in a happy, vibrant neighborhood bar with an amazing blues musician (The Blue Ridge Boy) then stayed for the astounding, super hot Firecracker Jazz Band!! I will definitely return!!“
“I was recommended from banks. I got to the getaway and they were playing poker. Nikita the bartender told me it was free she was awesome also played and bet us… and won! lol. But I’m definitely coming back it was a good time and the vibe was good.“
“Best bar in ashville! Super friendly staff. The bartender Collin is fantastic!!! He always remembers me and my drink. $2.25 buds on Wednesday and free pool on Sundays. Lost of friendly regulars in there as well. I consider this “my bar” when I’m in ashville. Make me feel like I’m cheers when I’m in there!“
“Really loved this spot! Someone local recommended it and we had a great time. We went a little early in the evening and when my friend ordered a drink that the bartenders hadn’t heard of before, they were super nice and looked it up to make it- delicious! They also had a really great DJ when we went who played fun stuff from the 2000s. Pretty reasonably priced.“
“I love this bar! Such a regulars vibe during the day and the perfect mix of dive/late night/dance vibe at night. The female bartender with short brown hair (I think her name is Kara) always plays the perfect tunes on Sunday evenings. Also, it’s actually affordable booze and IN downtown Asheville.“
“This place is really unique. I'm not from NC, so when we saw this on yelp, we knew we had to try it out. It's really cool. The drinks are interesting and d the bartenders are super friendly! The vibe is cool if you like unique places. They had a show when we tried to go. They said we just needed to stay in a certain area and didn't charge us extra. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Asheville!“
