Wandered into here one evening while strolling the south slope. Genuine dive bar like the sign says. It's also a private club, so they might refuse entry to non-members for whatever reason. They were cool with us, so no problem. I suspect bachelorette parties and other similarly obnoxious gangs might be turned away. $6 specials including 16oz Hamms can and a shot of house whiskey. Nice. They also sell Hotdogs, they are 6 or 6.50 with loaded options. Outdoor patio in the back.
Great place to kick back and have a drink. Fantastic hotdogs and amazing bartender and bouncer. It's a fun place with good rock music. I typically go in the middle of the week so not sure how the weekend is. During the week it's relaxing and the regulars are friendly. Good place to go with friends or to kick back. New Year's Eve here is always a blast!
